Great review. I set out to buy a Macan S a couple months ago and drove an X5 50e back to back with the Macan and it completely shocked me. Bought one new and didn’t look back. It’s fast, rides great, and the self driving mode is amazing.

Idk watching your video of the 45e did this 50e feel that much quicker? For savings purposes don’t you think the 45e is the better choice?
The 45e is an older model which is not released anymore. I don't think there is a "major" difference at lower speeds, but the higher speeds is where the difference is more noticeable, past 70-80mph.
I have a question, can you do a GLE450e?

Does the air suspension ride smooth and is it floaty enough for daily driving ?

Hi! I haven't driven the Cayenne e hybrid. I've driven the newer Cayenne 3.0T and the older Cayenne V8, and I prefer the X5.

Too bad that the 3rd row seating is only for 40i and 30d. I would love to have the V8 with 3rd row, but the X7 is to big for europe

Rear seat leg room is very tight, like those in a compact SUV. Compare Leg Room Front/Rear: BMW x5 xdrive50e: 39.4/37.4 vs. Honda Fit: 41.4/39.3 😛
It's 39.8 inches. Felt very spacious to me, and I am 6'2 tall. In comparison, the Audi A7 has 37 inches of rear legroom, and the Q7 is 38.8 inches.

It's missing quite a lot of features for a luxury suv, no passanger memory, no ventaliated seats, no back seat climate control. hmm
This one wasn't too loaded up, but most of those features I personally wouldn't even care about or use
The 40i is missing those features, not the 50e. Those are available for the hybrid

I have all those and a few more on my x50e. Just add to pay 30k more (in nl).
65mph in a school zone? Come on, buddy. Two Oakton HS girls were killed there by a BMW in June of 2022 by another wreckless driver.

What are you talking about? It's on maximum stabilization, with 60fps. It won't get any better than what this is... Go watch any POV
estabilation is crap on this camera... tape a phone to your head 😂
Too much head movement here... video makes me dizzy.
POV videos are like that... I use the newest GoPro with stabilization
