Maine Coon Cat Breed Information

The regal and mystical Maine Coon! I love true Maine Coons. Truth be told, I love domestic long hair cats that people call "Maine Coons" as well, but a true Maine Coon is always a joy to experience!
When it comes to the origin, I'm a fan of the Viking Theory. Mainly because I love Vikings. When it boils down to it, however, how awesome is it to think they are descendants of Vikings? I mean, it's got me a hyped up just thinking about it!

I believe the theory that the Maine Coon evolved from from the Norwegian Forest cat. When posting about cat breeds could you do the Norwegian Forest cat and the Siberian cat. From what I have read both those breeds have the same heart problems as the Maine Coon.
That might be evidence that these three breeds are related.
