    www.realmenrealstyle.com/t-sh... - Secrets To Look GREAT In A T-Shirt
Wearing T-shirts to the gym or when you are performing house chores is fine. But wearing T-shirts to social events or to work is a no-no, especially when the shirt is too big and made from a shoddy fabric advertising the company who gave it to you a decade ago. If you do wear a T-shirt, make sure it's new, clean, close-fitted and in a solid, dark color (although a crisp white T-shirt is a classic if of good quality!).

So basically: don't wear T shirts if you're not sexy. I agree.

  • @jasondownsnet

When you're in shape with a decent build, you can wear just about anything. When you're a bit out of shape, it's hard to pull off almost anything.

as I have pointed out above, you are totally right and more than that. If you have a "decent build" then t shirt CAN NOT FIT YOU because your shulders are in proportion far broader than your waistline so you must buy an oversized t shirt and look fat, it is math not opinion. You can not tailor cut a t shirt, you tailor a shirt. I have fitness model body proportions on 1.89 cm and I CAN NOT BUY t-shirts, it is impossible. Thanks for your work and good advice thus.

@@andreainzaghi7373 I think the only way to pull off a t-shirt is a well built muscular guy wearing a muscle fit shirt or a young guy with a skinny or medium build and going 2-3 sizes too big and exaggeration everything and layering it. Otherwise I agree no matter the body type or age a regular t-shirt flatters almost nobody

I know this video is seven years old but that shirt looks like a 2006 flea market bootleg Ed Hardy shirt. It has the typical Chinese eBay design characteristic of cheap looking material and uneven neck hem. I assumed incorrectly at first that this was going to serve as an example of the type of T-shirt to avoid.

All these comments about losing weight and lifting weights are pointless. He is not here to advice the abercrombie and fitch models among us. This guy is here to dress you, real people with common bodies, not to tell you to hit the gym. He accurately presents his material to that end. He is here to help what you are now, not what you could be. He doesn't judge, and he knows that everyone' body goes through changes in their lives.

exaclty, besides it is not true that if you have a perfect body t shirts fit you, it is in fact THE OPPOSITE. . I have a fitness model body on 1.89 cm and t shirt look like rubbish precisely if you have a perfect body and I am gonna explain the reason: if you have a perferct male body SHOULDERS are larger than waistline in proportion, so you are forced to buy an oversized t shirt and look fat. I just must resort to the tailor and have my shirts adapted. You can not tailor cut a t shirt. If YOU ARE FAT OR YOU HAVE SMALL SHOULDERS than t shirts are suitable.

rockshot100 I agree 100%, a nice guy across the street, tall but not that good of shape. He looks terrible in a T-shirt, I wish I could tell him! Plus they look all stretched out. And you are so right about the gut, it only makes it look worse.
If I could offer a tip: I hate polo or golf shirts for the same reason. And guys, if nothing else, LOOSE the gut! Skinny arms and legs and a big gut just doesn't look "healthful", not as in sick, but just inactive and unfit. The little dress thing around the waist looks like hell.
I usually get a shirt with a big neckhole opening. And HAS side seams. So if even I have a little bit of a gut, I still take in the shirt at least 4" so that it fits tighter around the waist. And if I have to, take the arms in too, so it doesn't look like 2 points with arms hanging out.
This takes me about 5 minutes to do, but does make a huge difference.
Even an Adonis would look like shit in a t-shirt because the waist is going to be too big! And as mentioned, the guy in the vid doesn't look good at all in a t-shirt either.

When you think masculine you think hard and chiseled. Certain parts of women are supposed to be soft. a tshirt accentuates those.
Don't think he is saying "don't be fat, be slim",What he is saying is have increased muscular development and low body fat percentage and a tshirt will flatter your body. tshirts show every flaw. You have to be an adonis, and as he said at least 70-85% of us don't even come close, yet we still wear tshirts.

so basically suits are for non alpha males to look like alpha males, because a true alpha can were a t-shirt or a tank top and still look alpha. Also I've noticed when muscular men wear suits off the rack they kinda look silly, it either looks to tight, or it looks like they are impersonating david burns in the "Once in a lifetime" video because the suit was cut for a fat guy. and when they do get a suit that looks good on them its a regular large suit with no padding and they still look less impressive than they would in a t-shirt..

Always, sometimes, never... you buttoned your middle button when you put on your jacket... tisk tisk. I do agree about the T-shirt thing though. I think T-shirts are for private use or on boats/at the beach. Collared shirts, Polo's especially, seam to be the best all around shirt if you want to be relaxed and not look like a slob. That's just my opinion though.

I was going into this video with the preconceived notion that this guy was full of shit but some good points were brought up.
My personal build is pretty solid and I do workout so I think I fill a t-shirt quite well. I do disagree with blue collar people wearing something with a collar. I wear a t-shirt under my strapped coveralls at work and it makes me look pretty masculine I'd say. It gives me a farmers tan though, especially since I work outside, but a farmers tan is a badge of honor for the hard working laborer. :)

i must say, your wording in this video seems a bit callous, pompous, and without any thought to men who happen to have extra pounds on them. You shouldn't generalize that way because it makes you seem vain and unfeeling. You might as well have just come out and say, some T-shirts don't compliment mens body types because your too fat and you should workout and lose the weight." because thats how its coming across! also you spelled " COMPLEMENT" WRONG,as its spelled " COMPLIMENT." anyway just wanted to voice my opinion on such a vapid outlook. have a good day!!! and before you might think of saying, " oh you must be overweight", I'm not I'm 6'0 at 185...but i used to be overweight at 295 lbs.

It is truly sad that our society creates a perfect image of how a man should dress, act, emotional feel, and speak. This video just adds to the pressure that us young men MUST dress and be a certain way in order to be taken seriously in public. You refer to a man who is overweight and wearing a t-shirt as being "SICKLY".. seriously! What if that very same man were to save your life one day? Then would you still refer to those very men as being not-normal or irregular... to the point of caring a illness or disease. Kids are not growing up and having the ability to show their true identity because of men like you! I think that having followers on the internet just makes you feel the need to express your narcissistic and discrimitaive traits to others. You are not a god! Oh, and men who are reading this... you do not have to be shaped (muscular) like a roman god to wear t-shirts! Stand up for your self and show the world your inner characteristics of who you are at heart!!!

I will be honest with you, the T-shirt you are wearing looks really bad. It looks so bad that I may actually be embarrassed walking around with a person wearing that crap. The cut, the fabric and the print are not good. Seriously, what the hell. Maybe it's because I am from Europe and the standards for style are a big higher.
Guys, T-Shirts are not that bad. Make sure you wear something without crazy prints, T-shirts are sewed differently and this is very important on the way it looks on your body. Also, the fabric is very important, this will have an effect on the visibility of the "love handels", the biceps and shoulders (if its softer and shinier it generally sucks). Lenght and width of the sleeves are important as well. You will look stupid if you are skinnier and you have wide sleeves that are flapping when you are walking.
To be on the safe side, you may want to try T-shirts with V-neck (this gives you the V masculinity thing) and/or decent quality Polo T-shirts. These should look good on most of you, except if you are a bit too chubby.

MihaiRUdeRO I know what hyperbole is idiot, he could have said ''I don't want to look like The Rock'' or even said ''I don't want to look too big'', either way -- his point was he didn't want to look huge, which is what he assumes happens to men who lift weights. That doesn't happen, and if he ever did lift weights, he'd know that. It isn't possible and he has no control over that. It isn't an excuse to not lift weights.
Yes, most people are on the internet or watching TV all day. Especially the ones who whine about not having time to excersise, while they spend hours doing other useless things.
The jerking off, or whining about social issues part is just random diatribe, it could be anything -- either way said people DO have time, they just use it incorrectly.
      tl;dr you're a fucking peasant, and a mental midget.

I don't won't to lift waits as I don't won't much upper body strength. I bet I could out run you do. So why should people have to do waits and look huge if they don't want to.
