Parker Barandon they don't need to, the only thing that's needs to be cleaned is the dust and dirt that clings to it, water will grab on to the dirt and then slide right off. The smell would mostly be because of the chemicals or the dirt.
Parker Barandon First what is the need to clean it won't absorb sweat it want absorb anything so why should it wash with water And if something is sticking it won't absorb and water removes it
@@notricky1680 no because if you didn't wear any shirt it would evaporate this because it won't absorb. The water will trap it against the skin meaning that it won't evaporate and you'll just be stuck being wet. You're just as well off wearing a contractor suit or a plastic bag
Here in India we specially wears cotton shirts so that it will absorb the sweating, why the hell someone buy it, but yes it can be used to make water proof bags
I just wonder how safe the chemical that has been used to treat is. Other than that this kind of clothing definitely would be useful in many situations. You can confidently wear a shirt like this in a place that's hot and humid and don't have to think of embarrassing sweat-spots.
So your armpit sweat will just roll down your arms and torso? Also if you wash it, will the chemical coating wash off? I don't think I can handle not washing the t-shirt for weeks
This is silly! When you have a "sweat resistant" shirt, no evaporation happens. Meaning that sweat drops will slide down your body. In other words - less cooling, more sweating. Also the treatment will weaken in a few washes... Interesting idea, but do yourself a favor and don't wear these shirts in hot weather!
Isn't the point to not wash it that often since it shouldn't get dirty? Been trying to find a good sweat-resistant shirt guess this might not be the option.
@@luminari_productions Its true that you might not need to wash less often. However, a shirt like this will result in alot of unnecessary sweat, which may or may not leave residue when it streaks down the shirt.
Wouldn't ever want a liquid resistant undershirt lmao. That sweat's going to go somewhere, and it's not going anywhere pleasant if your shirt refuses to help get rid of it.
1mil subscribers, no uploads doe. It does work, people just have different opinions. It's like saying a nuclear bunker will protect you from radiation, in reality, only for a certain time before it needs repairing, same with a phone, it's claimed that it's battery last so long, but after a while, it's on less and less.
Sounds like this is water repellant. In a way that is bad because it won't pull the moisture or sweat away from your body the way sweat-wicking fabric does. Also since the cotton is treated I'm sure after multiple washes it removes the water resistance treatment making it one just a plain ol t-shirt you could buy at Walmart for $5
If they are water resistant how will they soak up water so they can be washed?

Parker Barandon are you stupid?

didn't sweating on water-resistant shirt felt uncomfortable? like the shirt didn't absorb the sweat so you feel all the sweat builds up
Abi Nubli ges it's very uncomfortable
No different than sweating without a shirt on, I guess

Would bacteria grow on the fabric?
That's a good question
nyx211 no
Did the last guy just smell the Asian guy shirt and enjoy it???

Nisorgoi Sworgo its possible for it to be flammable.
anybody else thought about what would happen if you poured water in that pocket and just kept it in there?
I did that, you can drink out of your pocket for a bit, but it will start dripping through after ab 30 secs
So if it does not absorb the sweat, where does the sweat go?
How would you clean it if it repeals moisture?
Hamburgo moisture clings on to the dirt and dust, then slips off.
I doubt the stuff on it lasts very long. Once the spray on stuff cones off, its just a normal shirt
Polyester coating with low concentrated epoxy would solve the odor or sweating problem
if this comes cheap, imagine how much water we can save!
The sweat eventually falls into the floor and areas that you will have to either sit or stand on.
Sweat is inevitable if you’re a human.
This would be so good in humid countries! Especially if you're not used to the weather.
If your sweat won't be on the shirt, does that means it will wet your pants or shorts?
NEAT T-Shirts is another good brand to hide/block sweat. They also sell undershirts as well.
So your armpit sweat will just roll down your arms and torso?

Your body doesn't breathe and you sweat like crazy. So what's the point of this shirt again?
Your body does breath. That's what pores are.
Will they smells stink before a week?
How can i order from India??? Pls inform me having any source.
Yay, now I can look like I'm peeing when the liquid slides down and makes my pants uncomfortable for the rest of the day!

How much do one of this bad boys cost?

Seems like a horrible idea. Seems like moisture would get trapped in there and it'd be miserable
So it didn't actually do what it claimed.
Saved you 3 minutes.

I bet the coating washes off quickly and becomes an ordinary shirt
