  • This tool is one of the most versatile in leathercraft, also sometimes called French Edgers. The depth is controlled by how far you are in from the edge. Easy to use for both left and right-handed individuals. Gouge, skives and channels up to 1/4" (0,6 cm) wide. Also countersinks rivets. Contoured wood handle.

    I have one of these tools that came in a cheap kit via Amazon.com. I am new to working with leather - very new. I didn't know what this tool was or what it did to leather until I saw your video. Very helpful to see how it's used and what it can do. Thanks!

    I bought this, I am new and teaching myself. How do you remove the protective coating on the new tool without damaging sliver?
