What gets me is my bank uses Experian and when I click on my score it comes up "Good ". On a major credit card that uses Experian my score comes "Excellent". Go figure.
I used Experian boost and added my T-Mobile bill. I had a score of 792 and it went up by 1 point instantly. All of my bills are paid on time. Two weeks later because I added my phone bill it dropped my score from 792 to 757. I have yet to get a response from Experian. My account was disconnected from a security issue and my score remained the same 757. I’m so angry. Experian has been the slowest to climb for me and I feel like they look to take away your score for any reason. I literally pay my bills on time always. They’re crap and I would not recommend this for anyone.
That's a bummer. It is possible for any bill added through this method to reduce your credit. I think I touched on that in the video. That could be because it shortens your average credit history, or because of a late payment.
@@TheNurseSpot I should have researched more. I removed it and it docked me another point. It’s a joke really. I worked so hard on planning my payments and paying everything on time. Sometimes double payments in a month. I found out Experian boost is just a hit for your vantage score. Not your actual FICO score. A lesson learned for sure.
@@GrubbMuffin I am so sorry this happened to you!! I am working so hard to boost my scores, too...thank you so much for sharing your journey, you have probably saved countless people from a lot of harship!
My experience with Boost leaves me to think it's a lot like extortion. Try and cancel the $15 a month charge and watch how quickly your credit score drops.
I only have experience using the website. If you wanted to dispute something specifically with Experian you would go to www.experian.com/disputes/main.html
@@sqaushistarship2605 I mean it’s the difference between paying endless in interest or getting a decent rate or buying certain things zero down but yea means nothing lol
Thanks for help

It’s free?
Boost is for free, I work for Experian
Thanks for the info
Do you have the ability to dispute charges through this app? Is the app, not the website, secure? Thanks....✌

Yea you can. ✌🏾
Excellent!
All that for 13 points doesn’t seem worth it
Lmao credit scores aren't worth anything but unfortunately we need them.
