Exams week starts Monday and it’s Wednesday today, not bad, but because of online school I haven’t been listening to lessons for an entire term and a half (basically a little over a third of the year) and I need to learn study and revise all that in the span of 5 days. I’m gonna die.
Every time I took tests, I imagined that I am a commander, and there is a fight going on outside. Every answer is an order. Could that be helpfull for kids who like playing Call of Duty or other games like that? By the way, sorry for my bad spelling. I'm not American.
I've found that exercising (like speed walking) WHILE I STUDY and repeating what I read out loud without looking at the book (then check if I was accurate on the definition) has helped me to remember what I studied better.
This is a great method because we are more likely to remember thought processes when we have a direct memory to connect it to like walking and speaking aloud! It is easier to remember your studies when you have an event of walking/speaking to resource back to. I do this too and sometimes try to use the rhythmic method of studying as well - as our brains have auditive memory too.

I think also having multiple study buddies would help too because it will give you different points of view and will be more likely to cover all the different viewpoints with more people.
Thank you 🎉, I am starting to study after 20 years.During those time I used to read the chapter, check the questions given in the end of the chapter, Read the chapter again, identifying each question and it's answer, write notes in question and answer format in a book, Then close the book,I would write it then check if answers are correct.😊ok.Thank you.
What I found helpful in getting more A's in college while having more time for myself was: (1) Newport's book: How to become a straight A student: the Unconventional Strategies Real College Students Use to Score High While Studying Less and other similar books. (2) tracking the number of hours spent for each class on excel. I used to think I spent so much time studying but was shocked at how much time was spend procrastinating. Realized I was wrong in scheduling an entire day for studying but rather should have few hours (but very productive hours). (3) studying in one hour blocks without doing anything else (e.g. getting a snack, texting, checking email etc). Putting phone on airplane mode helps :) (4) personal development habits: meditating and exercising.
Well, it can certainly work for math or any other math related subject if they give you a preparation a day before an exam. You only need to learn the stuff from there and you're done. XD
I'm being instinctive about this, I get a rest and sleep well, wake up to do a little walk, take breakfast and study at the early morning, and I dont cram "informations" as much as possible, this doesn't work, I just try to remember by reading some quotes and summaries the explainnation of the professor, and try to squish and shape the information to understand it my way, and then I go to get more rest, pr I exercise if I feel more energized, or I speak to a family member or a friend about what I studied. The most of times I dont even study at home, because the presence in the class and your interest about the topic sometimes is enough, any way, stay comfortable and live your life :)
Strike a pose!

Yep, it works. I was top performer in my line of work by saying how awesome and beautiful I was throw out the day and then I let stress and negative thoughts enter my mind and stopped saying "awesome and beautiful" to myself and I started to underperform. I no longer have that job. Try it, I am sure going to start doing it again. Good luck.
I always make A’s and B’s, I know i’m smart. I don’t struggle, I can learn easy. I learn languages, math, ela, etc very quick. but... i’m quite lazy.
I think also having multiple study buddies would help too because it will give you different points of view and will be more likely to cover all the different viewpoints with more people.

“If you’re spending 8 hours a day studying, you’re bad at studying.” ~ My adaptation of George Stigler’s famous airport quote.
Thank you 🎉, I am starting to study after 20 years.During those time I used to read the chapter, check the questions given in the end of the chapter,
Read the chapter again, identifying each question and it's answer, write notes in question and answer format in a book,
Then close the book,I would write it then check if answers are correct.😊ok.Thank you.

I have a exam tomorrow and I need to study. Thank you for giving me this right now.
What I found helpful in getting more A's in college while having more time for myself was:
(1) Newport's book: How to become a straight A student: the Unconventional Strategies Real College Students Use to Score High While Studying Less and other similar books.
Putting phone on airplane mode helps :)
(4) personal development habits: meditating and exercising.

That's more than I've studied. I've never studied before.
