When you talked about how your perspective shifted on your videos and how people watch them for comfort, I just wanted to say that your videos (along with Taylor’s, JuicyJas), sincerely helped me through a huge break up at the beginning 2020 into living alone for the first time in the Pandemic. The fear of that, not having family or friends in person and having you guys as my ‘friends’ in the background made it so comforting and bearable in the loneliest times. I’m so thankful you guys get to do what you do because I know how much it helps people firsthand! I still love to watch and chill every upload, been watching since before lil’ Gigi 💕

I remember a video you made when you had just gotten Pinocchio, where for most of the video we could hear him whining and crying in the background because he didn’t want to be in his crate. Someone said in the comments to please consider crating him in another room next time, and you were like, “he WAS crated in another room.” 😂 I really hope your sweet boy feels better soon!

You’re so right on the entertaining part of the videos. I mainly watch them for the feeling of having a friend who’s talking about the things I like and to entertain while doing things like cooking, cleaning, doing laundry. On occasions I follow recommendations and buy makeup but it’s mainly for the entertainment.
I feel like you hit the nail on the head - many of us find your channel based on a similar interest, but most of us stick around because you/your family are genuine and enjoyable to watch, like hanging out with a friend ❤️ Keep doing what you’re doing 👍

I had to get my baby flipped cause she was breach. It was crazy how they pushed her from the outside. It worked and I went on to have her without any issues!🥰
My baby wouldn't flip. They tried, didn't work. Sometimes babies are just stuck.

Jess, you totally are my comfy YT “buddy”. I always love when you call yourself my big or little sister (depending on the age difference) in your moments of sharing your personal growth. I’m an only girl with six brothers and having sisters is something I haven’t experienced but always wanted. It’s so sweet to me to have a sort of makeup and beauty community to feel a part of.
With my baby, now 14 lol, we went in for our scheduled c section after trying everything...they said let's look at one more ultrasound. She had flipped. Was induced and 14 hours later she was born. Praying for you all!

The reason I have become obsessed with your videos since I stumbled upon you last year, is because you are so casual, chatty, just being a “buddy” like you said. I felt called out when you said “just having a buddy in the room”. I actually laughed out loud at the realization of how lonely I am and I use RUclips to help with that haha. The only time I watch RUclips is while I’m cooking, doing makeup, folding clothes, etc. Like you said, just enjoying company, hearing someone talk. I got into beauty RUclips about six years ago, when I was in a starting a new chapter phase of my life, I searched for youtubers with a similar skintone and similar taste in makeup/brands as me, and then a couple of handfuls have stuck around because I like your personalities and the way you do videos. Watching beauty RUclips can be really relaxing (I stay far away from drama channels!).
Ironically I started out wanting to learn how to do winged liner on my hooded eyes, but as I took a plunge I ended up doing my makeup in a completely different way instead when I came back up 😅

Beagles are dramatic but they're pretty good at bouncing back from things. :) My male beagle had IVDD and did eventually need surgery for it and I swear as soon as he woke up from the surgery he was up and acting like nothing had ever happened. The hardest part is keeping them chill while they heal from their misadventures!

My baby girl that I had in September was also breech. I was anxious about it, tried spinning babies , prenatal yoga, and eventually scheduled an ECV at the hospital . I made peace with a C-section if that didn’t work , as I would do whatever was safest for her. The morning of the ECV she flipped as the were doing the ultrasound before the procedure, I was right at 36 1/2 weeks so you never know ! Much love and good luck for whatever way it turns out.❤️❤️

I love your positive outlook on this baby and your upcoming birth! I had an unexpected emergency c-section and even though it was scary in the moment, I healed up fine and had a good experience overall. Also a perk to me is I qualified for extra time off work due to the c-section so that was a win! I get down when people speak negatively about c-sections and I just appreciate the way you’re going into it positively if that does happen

Regarding what you were saying about why we watch your videos, I started watching beauty RUclips around the same time I was really struggling as a teenager at school and feeling lonely a lot of the time, so watching videos felt like I had a friend, that's why I care about the personalities of the people I watch. Now at the age of 25 I still get comfort from watching RUclips! I will rewatch a video multiple times by my favourite creators. At this point I watch every video of yours, regardless of the topic, because I feel a connection to YOU! 😊 💕
My favorite videos from you and from everyone are empties videos. I feel like a lot of creators always say those don’t do as well but that’s a video I will instantly click on when I see it rather than coming around to watch it later.

I’ve been following you since your first was just a baby and I’ve always wanted to try the Missha BB cream that you’ve talked about. Well finally iHerb delivers to Canada, yay, so I ordered a tube, just guessing at the shade. Because of the pandemic and shipping issues it took 6 weeks(!!!) to get to me. I finally got it and oh my gosh, this stuff is magic. I’m 61 with large pores, texture issues and some fine lines but this just goes on and blends in like magic. Doesn’t matter what I wear under, it always looks beautiful. So thank you so much for this recommendation. I just became a grandma for the first time on February 19 and I get to babysit for the first time this weekend and I’m so excited!
