Just purchased this and a new Fire TV stick Max so my old stick can go in my car. Thanks for the video. I'm glad you noticed where the HDMI port was, where another unnamed video I saw couldn't find it. Haha...(smh) looking for more quality videos from RCA!!!
I don’t know why they put the USB and HDMI on back and then have you run extension cables out. It would be a much.cleaner design if they simply had those along the bottom strip where the physical buttons are.
Can you confirm that indeed both usb options would power it?! I thought I saw somewhere it said that the usb 2 option doesn't generate the same power output. Just curious. Thanks for the video just purchased one of these.
Considering this for a '09 Hummer H3 with the Monsoon speaker system. Anything special I will need to do or purchase for this vehicle? Mainly getting it for the Apple CarPlay so hopefully it will continue to get some updates for a little while.

The idea is you create a port on your dashboard or anywhere hidden/to make it look like part of your car

@@BigUchieGurb just usb 1 will power it. When I tried usb 2 it would power up but the reboot immediately and continue to do so.
Great video, the presentation is cool but I just don't like the product's location for the firestick.

The best we have found at the moment is to use a hotspot from your phone or cellular device
Will running and hdmi device actually run while driving?
Does.it have wireless android car ?
It does not have wireless android auto but the Sony XAV-AX6000 and XAV-AX4000 does

Yes it will
I think you can pull e brake up one click and this will work without the brake engaging.

Your best case would be using a hotspot from your phone or tablet to provide the signal to the firestick
