- One of my favorite TV show appearances that Clara Ward and the group had, the Flip Wilson Show from November of 1971. The first clip they sing a Gospel Medley and the second clip they sing “We’ll Soon Be Done”. Honoring the last two group members that are still in the land of the living from these clips; Malvilyn Statham and Alice Houston. Enjoy!

Did Clara use the upper register of her vocal range very often? I would love to know more about her vocal range.
well that would only make sense because that mean you’d still be younger than clara enough to just refer to her as auntie , we dont have to be from the south to get it… i even call the elders auntie and uncle at church even and sometimes at my workplace

Shes my favorite!!!😂 Her name is Malvilyn Statham. She and Vermettya Royster (shes not here) were always my favorite two after Clara. Maybe because they stood out the most to me
