Amazing forest. Amazing trees. It would be very cool to have someone set up a timelapse camera to watch the leaves at night so we could see the light coming from them. Noya Rao translates to "Flying Tree Spirit". They say the leaves glow at night because there is so much light in the tree.
Have you been there? It is actually so impressive and so magical. Although I doubt any camera would be able to catch that, the leaves do shine at night but even for the eye it takes some times to start seeing them. Your eyes need to get accustomed to the pure darkness and the you can see the leaves. The leaves shine bright but at the same time it is very subtle, I am not sure what kind of very professional camera you would need. Do you know what could be used?
I haven't been there. I want to go to Peru to meet the shamans though. I'd love to see Noya Rao. As for the camera, there are a ton of different time lapse cameras available. But because it's nighttime, you'd probably need a pretty expensive one. A Nikon Z6 II would be ideal but it's around 1600 dollars. I'm not sure if a 200-400 dollar camera would work capturing subtle light in the darkness. It would be awesome to have a progressional go do it though.@@GoHarmoniously
