    The salon looks so comfortable. Nothing overly formal, but instead it’s spacious, comfortable and inviting. The galley is surprisingly large! The master stateroom is also very comfortable and spacious. But the master bath is awesome!! Very nice presentation! Very thorough and enjoyable. Another fantastic job by the Denison Marketing team!!! And I love the bare feet! Makes the video all the more enjoyable 😉

    Turned off right after they said we couldn't see crew cabins. That's my favorite part. If people are going to provide you a service to have a great vacation then I wanna see they are being taken care of. Don't show me a boat unless I can see crew accommodations.

    • @captain_context9991
      @captain_context9991 3 года назад +4

      Probably because they were either full of somebody's personal belongings or used as storage for something else. But the crew never has space on yachts. On the positive side... They do get to roam freely around the yacht for the VAST majority of the time when the owners are not using it.

      I prefer my boat with the absolute minimum of crew. And Im looking into having them remotely steered. Have you seen the small crew compartment on some yachts? Its obvious that you cant dedicate half a boats lower deck to a crew of 10. SIlly arse.

    • @clifbradley
      @clifbradley 3 года назад +3

      @@captain_context9991 You want your boat remotely steered ? When my parents had their yacht, a 105' Benetti, it had one of the first remote driving systems and it was horrible. If it's a hardwired system, it's better, but if it's a true remote yacht comander, it is unreliable garbage. It's just a way to get yourself in serious trouble. So good luck with that. And there are yachts that have awesome crew cabins and some that cram them in there like sardines with wet heads which always suck. The fastest way to get a crew to leave your boat is to give them a wet head and a tiny cabin. Or worse, have a boat over 100' and only 4 crew. You will get shit service because you will have totally green crew all the time and your experienced deckhand will be some guy burnt out on yachting but needs the money. My guess is this owner wanted minimum crew because he's cheap and after refit wanted to unload this yacht as soon as possible. Which means the crew cabins are probably small as hell. Most owners like this have remote logins for the onboard CCTV system and the crew can't run around the boat. You can tell this owner is a Philly fan and therefore an asshole and he probably hates most people. I'm sure your boat is some Princess or Sunseeker 85 footer. You seem like the type.

    • @captain_context9991
      @captain_context9991 3 года назад +1

      @@clifbradley
      I wouild have thought remote steering a boat had come a long way in recent years. As for service... I don't want service at all. Its weird for me to be "served" unless Im in a restaurant. So Id rather keep that shit to an absolute minimum. The only thing I would use crew for would be to wash and maintain the boat. As I have never washed a thing in my entire life to the state where it has become... clean. That shit eludes me completely. I have no idea how people even do it. But to bring along a bunch of slim, tanned, annoyingly handsome kids on a gap year from college just for that seems a bit excessive.
      But the remote CCTV login is OBVIOUS. Not to spy on them, but to be part of it all while away. I realise those are virtually the same, but still. And is there something wrong with Princess and Sunseeker? Should I "buy American" or something?

    I am happy they took great pains to keep the charm of the original hull during the refit. Love the tile and woodwork and the glass accent panels are a very nice touch to keep the interior from becoming too heavy and "woody". I get the impression that at some point, the owner ran out of his favorite cold beverage at sea with all the refrigeration that has been installed. How many crew can be accommodated? Also, anyone purchasing this vessel and not keeping Patrick on as engineer is a fool. Two additional questions: Fuel capacity and burn rate at cruise and top range?

    My family and I lives on a sailboat in the Bahamas for a couple years and we were by the pig beach at staniel cay yacht club when a major storm came through. I was parked next to this yacht and spent 5 hours watching it get washed up on the beach. It was awesome. I probably should not relish in the misfortune of others but when you are living on a small sailboat and these rich people come in looking down their nose at you , It's sort of entertaining to watch them frantically run around trying to keep the pigs off the boat as they run up the gangway the next day..

    I was literally 200 feet away... at anchor immediately next to this boat in Staniel Cay (pig beach) in 2014 Bahamas When a tropical storm came through and washed this huge yacht up on the beach. It was great. The crew working the boat were incredibly rude to the sailboats and other live aboard families who had all hunkered down for the Storm. All day long the yacht was running it's huge 20' tender around the moring field at 25 miles per hour or more... Knocking sailboats all over the place.
    As people Complained on the radio, the captains of the tender would tell us that it's not actually a mooring field on the map and that he had no responsibility to slow the boat down or to be courteous.
    For whatever reason, the captain of the yacht thought it made sense to anchor this huge boat broadside to the storm immediately next to the beach. In fact it was so shallow I couldn't park my 45' sailboat next to the yacht between the yacht and the beach. So I was to his other side.
    Of course everybody knew this tropical storm was coming through that night. We all struggled with our anchors and chain yet nothing was more glorious than watching this yacht get pushed up on the beach. By the next morning there was dry sand on most sides of the hull. The pigs were walking around the boat all morning. There were a lot of live aboard folks talking about karma on the VHF radio.
    It had to be pulled off the beach by 2 huge tug boats. Some major damage...

    Love these videos. I keep thinking about why these yachts don't have a birds eye view camera system installed. Someone should start a company that could fill this niche market. Essentially you would to sell a retrofit system. You would install anywhere between 5-10 cameras discreetly around the yacht. Using a software program, it would take all the inputs from the camera and create a birds eye view of the yacht. Then interface this with an AVR (Augmented Virtual Reality) system so that the Captain or anyone else, could put on this wireless headset, and be able to look down on the yacht as if they are 30-60 feet above the yacht. It would make docking the yacht incredibly easy. You could also make the system use night vision so you could market it as a security system as well. Imagine putting on a headset or turning on the TV and being able to see everything around the yacht within a 100 meter radius.
    Example use: As the yacht approaches a dock the Captain and crew put on the headsets. Remember this is AVR not VR. So you could still see whats in front of you with no issue. The view would appear more like a hologram in front of you. All users would be able to move their head around and virtually see everything around the yacht from a birds eye view perspective. You could dock a 200 foot yacht much more easily. The system would also give guide path lines to enter the dock space. You could even interface it with an AI system that helps dock the yacht. Mercedes and BMW's already have this exact system minus the headsets. It wouldn't be hard to take this system and upgrade it for a yacht. This would become a must have on almost every yacht or even large cargo ships. You could sell it without the headsets and just put the view onto a HD monitor. Anyway, just thinking out loud.

    MY last message was sent before I had time to finish it so 'll finish it now, yes the green crap colour makes the yacht look like a fishing boat, I'd change that straight away to the deep blue that the Trinity yachts have on their hulls, they look so classic and expensive, also, all the furnishing on the fly deck change the green to the blue on the hull, then the yacht might have a buyer, it's been on the market for over a year and the price has come down to $ 3.495.000 and a steal at that great price, pity there is no chair for the Captain in the main bridge, he needs a chair,. plenty of space on the upper rear deck to relax on, pity they didn't have the toys and tend on board to show how much space they take up.

    $4-4.5 is a STEAL (provided the hull checks out with the surveyor's ultrasound). If I were ready to pull that trigger today I would already be in the process. The only unanswered question I have is range - I would need to make San Francisco (or even Los Angeles/Long Beach) to Hawaii within safety margins (basically a minimum 2000nm range). Without knowing gallons/hour consumption it's difficult to translate total fuel capacity to range. I also have a need to visit friends in Fiji and Australia, but between there and Hawaii are ports where refueling is possible (and some surf scouting could be done).
    Anyway: Beautiful boat and congratulations for getting the listing. I would want to see an update with the crew quarters but if they are anything like the rest of the interior then they should be happy.

    The enclosed flybridge is cool in colder weather or on long cruising legs, but is it possible to remove at least some glass panels or the entire flybridge glass for summer in the Med and hot days in the Bahamas?

      Denison Yachting This would be a waste of time for the broker, since I am not in any financial position to buy such a ship. I used to be a large cabin, long range Businessjets pilot, but making the money to buy such a ship also needs a businessman and not just a job 😜 but beautiful ship 👍🏻

    I believe there was an error on your website. It has this yacht priced at under 5mil.

    • @DenisonYachting
      @DenisonYachting  5 лет назад

      correct, priced at $4,850,000. in many peoples opinion, one of the best value available today.

    Just too many concessions to luxury to be truly seaworthy in heavy weather.

      beleieve this boat had a tow tender (bigger tender that would be towed behind the larger yacht).

      Sorry... we try our best to include crew quarters, but sometimes it can be too invasive as the crew is actually living in those spaces and our cameras and stages will be very invasive and disruptive to their daily lives.

    Beautiful boat. If I may offer a slight critique... your repeated use of ‘what a prospective buyer would like’ is similar to saying ‘um’. Good presentation, but maybe watch your co-worker’s walk throughs a couple times.
