I am so impressed that you and your husband created the waterfall yourselves - it looks just beautiful, and I am looking forward to seeing it when you have finished the surrounding plantings. It will be so much fun for you to observe all the types of critters and birds that make use of the waterfall throughout the year.

Beautiful addition to your backyard! You two are doing a wonderful job with the design. It’s very natural looking and as the plants grow, it will become even more attractive. The sound is everything!

You inspire! I am working in the garden today. I wish I had painted our wooden benches blue! We used to have a fountain in the yard. Now we have a smokeless fire pit (asthma). I am not looking forward to the holidays. As many as 44% of women don’t have children. I had miscarriages and $60k of infertility, so we don’t spend as much time, energy nor money on holidays. I am glad I learned about preserving magnolia leaves from you.

That is beautiful! Surely it will be a real stunner when finished and the plants have filled in.
Wondering what your plan is on how to deal with overwintering? Perhaps you don't have to worry about freeze ups like we do here.

How often do you fill the basin? And any leaks or spills at that bottom right corner where the liner meets the basin?

We check the water levels on the every 2 - 3 days and top off the water about every 4 days if we have no rain. The only time water escapes from the pond is if we have a huge rainstorm, but I suppose that is rainwater not pond water!
