Dude, I love the tone he's getting out of that custom Les Paul with the African wood!
LeRoy is just such a tremendous talent and a real down to earth guy. His tone is to aspire to.

Lee Roy is the kind of authentic man country music is made of.
I thoroughly enjoy Marty's guests and the quality of the interviews. Do us all a favor. Do one of these with Mike Campbell.

Hi Marty...I just discovered this. You did a great job w/ Lee Roy's interview. He is a good friend of mine and I got to sit in with him in Reidsville, NC. Your questions were so well put and sincere. Lee Roy was showcased so well by you. You are good guy and fine player. I am fan of both you guys. And yes it is indeed an honor to spend time w/ LRP.
A true master ......he and Jackie Pierson used to play together ....i bet that was a hell of a band

Marty Schwarts W/ Mr. Lee Roy Parnell. Two masterful guitar technicians each in their own. How does one get a sitdown with a legend like Lee Roy Parnell? How cool is that? Hey Mary, whatever you learned while there with Lee Roy, umm, We want to learn too, Okay? LOL

Hello, Marty. You probably won't read this, but I'm still gonna write this. Thank you so much, you helped make me the guitarist I am today, so thank you.

"When a woman loves a man", one of Parnell's best songs. Look it up.
Hi Marty, somewhere around the 9 minute mark you were asking him about the low action on his guitar, but it seemed that the answer got edited out? Do you remember what he said about how he sets up his guitars action wise? And what string gauges he's using? Love his tone and playing. Also was he using the Ibanez Mostortion in front of this amp?
If you’re still doing guitar lessons, I think you should do “I gave you all” by Mumford and Sons
