There’s nothing like this video.. the first time I watched this I was doing math homework and was playing on my phone of course... and I saw something on ifunny telling me to watch this video.. I was like okay why not. (I had never heard of ASMR before this) I clicked it and was out in 5 minutes... had to dinihs my homework in home room the next day... to this day I have never made it to the end of this video
8 years later and I'm "watching" this at work. It actually just really helps me to hear a soft voice talking in the background as it's only me in the office, and the tingles keep me awake and focused. Plus, I'm working with 2 monitors so when I look at #2 for my accounting software there's a little cloud smiling at me behind the dialogue box! :) Thanks for being such a creative person, Maria!

My first ASMR moment was when I was 4, playing house with my friend and she wanted to "make me over" lol or makeover but we were pretty little, and she was very quiet had me close my eyes. I had crazy tingles and was very relaxed. I love personal attention/Spa and the like type of videos...I get tingles and fall asleep
Omg, the 20 second countdown!! When I was little, my grandma used to caress my arm just like that, up and down with the tip of her fingers very slowly whenever I was sad or crying, and it would immediately calm me down and make me fall sleep. The feeling I would get from it was so intense, it would hypnotize me. When she passed away, my mom continued to do so as well, I called it "cariñito" which means caress in Spanish. Anyways, now I'm 24 and I'm always bugging my bf to do it for me now. At the begining he thought it was extremely weird lol (can't blame him) but now he was no problem in doing so and whenever I'm mad or w/e he does it for me to calm me down. Now, I can finally explain to him why is it that I enjoy how that feels so much! Never knew it was an actual thing, thank you!
Sukhime, my grandfather (sadly gone) used to do the exact same thing to my arms when I was anxious/upset. He would gently glide his fingertips up and down both of my arms. This never failed to relax me. When I listen to a soft voice, I do it to myself and it puts me in a state of immense peace and calm. And Kameron, piss off with that bollocks comment.
Same exact thing with me! If someone lightly touches the inside of my arms and glides their fingers down I get really intense tingles! It's the same with my calves too? Like my grandma used to rub my calves up and down to help my fevers and I always got the best tingles then.
Your ASMR videos are truly creative and original, instead of doing the same scenarios we've seen before (i.e. the cranial exam, haircut video), you made thought of this original concept of a lab that does interactive studies on ASMR! Great job Maria!! You are wonderful at what you do!!!

Does anyone else get that strange feeling in their left side/spine area when she's blowing into the left side of the mic at 9:15? For some reason, it's only when she's on the left side. When she switches to the right side, the feeling is a tiny bit there but almost unnoticeable. Is that a part of the ASMR? Because it feels not warm and tingly, but kinda sharp and uncomfortable. It's really weird.
Same! I though it was just me! I always seem to have to take out the left earphone when she is whispering or blowing on the left side. I agree, it is not pleasant, it is a really sharp shoot down my back.
Yeah the same thing happened to me but on my right side during the Russian whispering and had to stop the video because the feeling was really bothering and I kept fliching
The thing about ASMR is that it makes me go to bed in awful conditions. Sleeping on the couch, going to bed with a headache without Tylenol, going to bed with a hurt back, it's amazing.

lately i've been putting videos on in the background for relaxation while i'm writing. i'd forgotten how much the personal attention videos can make my head tingle. i love experiencing this again.
I always have to come back to this video, it's amazing! So much tingles, almost like a little shock but in a peaceful way. I never make it to the end because it lulls me right to sleep :)

type A can consciously trigger tingles just by focusing on wanting to feel tingles; they don't need to be triggered by anything. it's pretty rare :)

I don't usually feel any "tingles" from her videos...but i LOVE how much effort and thought she puts into her videos and her videos are so well done and very relaxing even if you aren't very into asmr which is a very strong talent in my opinion
had a long time where i couldnt experience tingles that much anymore and thought i lost it, but this brought it back. Bless.
