I love these older videos where she's genuinely focused on providing an experience for viewers and being motivational without all the edits and video touching up. It's just a more genuine natural feeling video that's exactly how it would be in person. I love the newer videos and the hard work and the time and effort put in are greatly appreciated and she's come such a long way since these videos. What is this? Why is this making me feel this way? I've noticed this sensation throughout my life and I've never had a clue what it was or why it happened. My first time experiencing this was when I was around 4 years old. I've always called it a braingasm. I've always associated it with learning something I'm interested in, or hearing older people tell my a story. This is incredible. You need a podcast, I bet it'd be huge.

My psychiatrist thinks its wonderful that i have quit taking most nighttime medication, tranquilizers and such, and replaced it with asmr and maria..she get me so relaxed and I dont even have to poison my liver..
I have always remembered that little wink at 7:16 since I first saw it 8 years ago. Even after all these years this is one of my favourite ASMR videos.
I have insomnia so watching these videos actually help me fall asleep really well. If you don't understand the feeling, think about getting a massage or feeling a really soft blanket and think "this feels really good". Or for some maybe think about like the best sex you ever had. Not everybody will get a sexual feeling from ASMR. Everyone reacts differently to certain things. Being a girl, feeling a soft makeup brush on my face can trigger it and I personally get a tingling feeling from the back of my scalp, down my shoulders, to the small of my back. It's one of the best feelings in the world... Next to just finishing a tasty BLT.
There are way too many people who ignore correct grammar. Sometimes, like in gaming chats, people just type as fast as they can. So who knows if this person is a gamer or it could have just slipped their mind. Either way, I'm not sure correcting grammar is worth starting irritating arguments that lead to even more incorrect grammar for other people to correct. It just keeps going on. Granted, some arguments can get quite humorous. This is only my opinion, of course.
If you were referring to me, I was actually trying to defend those who don't think about taking time to write perfect grammar. Grammar is a pain in the ass. Sometimes I get frustrated with myself for not being able to type faster. It's a struggle really. By the way, your cat picture is awesome. :)
She is intensely beautiful, as well as being so incredibly tender of vocal bliss & warmth. It's all I can do to remain conscious, but I guess that's the point. I'm utterly convinced everyone needs a home environment like these sounds, just to engender a spirit of peace. This is exactly what they meant, when they said : It's good for the soul. She's wonderfully delicately masterful. I think i'm in love with her, let's be honest here, it'd be hard not to be. She's a muse of harmonic beauty, it's an enormous draw.
This video, especially the feather section, is why I love you so much, Maria. You're always so positive and uplifting, it's just a joy to listen to you. I also wanted to mention that I really liked the word section, especially Kiss and Test. I think those are particularly effective for me because of the sharp sounds of letters like 'k' and 't' combined with the soft drawn out 's' sounds. So those are my thoughts for the moment ^_^
I couldn't agree more. I especially love hearing words that start/end with p, k, t and s. When Maria speaks them, they sound heavenly :-) Her voice is seriously otherworldly. I've never felt so at rest as I do when I listen to her.

I’m here in 2019 ....and I just got tingles FOR THE FIRST TIME. I’ve been watching Maria since 2013 to help myself get to sleep, I love her comforting relaxing aura and I love her as a person. I can’t believe years later I’ve just now experienced tingles for the first time ever. It happened in the beginning of the ear cleaning, that was the craziest feeling I’ve ever had. For those who haven’t experienced tingles yet, it almost felt like the first time I got high, like if you let yourself slip you’ll be out of touch with you body for a slight second and you don’t feel anything but what I can only describe as numb sparks. It’s such an unique & surreal experience, but once you start to concentrate on the feeling, it leaves you.

Yes In every Asmr video when its producer is a female .. Ive scrolled down and read lots of creepy comments. I try not to read them its only when I feel the need to comment and then get spammed with attacks from those creepy and over sexed men that it starts to piss me off no end. Just ruins it for me grr. Out of interest, do any of you other ASMR enthusiasts also experience any forms of synesthesia? This, for those who don't know, is where words, for example numbers, might cause the hearer to see colours or sounds might make you experience taste or in the case of ASMR, tingles. I've been an experiencer of ASMR all my life but it's only the last two weeks that I've discovered these videos and that the phenomenon has a name! I also feel that some tastes have shapes. I was having a conversation with my mother years ago and she asked me why I didn't enjoy eating honey. I replied that the taste of honey was shaped like an "L" and I didn't like the vertical part. This woman is easily the best on RUclips for me.
Lone Existence I don't think I have proper synesthesia but I did read that ASMR and synesthesia were related and/or similar in some way. My experiences about tastes having shapes...well it's mostly just confusing for others who don't understand. They think I'm a weirdo basically.
***** My friend's wife became a neuropsychologist due to an interest in synesthesia. It was she who made me think my taste/shape thing might be connected to it. I've had strong ASMR reactions all my life. Funnily, none of the people I've spoken to about it had any clue what I was talking about. I suspect there's a Ph.D in it somewhere for some smart cookie.
I would hear a word and just about immediately connect a sound, smell, colour and even a food to it.... simple e.g. a name like Angelique would make me thing of white marshmellows with coconut ... and it would be a clear sensation and the number would sometimes be there and sometimes not... isnt this just plain old association though? What I do remember is that ppl thought I was stir crazy when I mentioned it, haha.
I was watcing this vid when i was 10 and i wasn't understand English at all it just help me sleep, every year i still watch it until i understand English and now I'm 18 . Not that good at writing but i understand every single word she said in English. Much love❤

Like what the hell every time she hits the right side of my ear there's a very strong tingling sensation in the top part of my back... HOW? Like seriously guys it makes my back spasm out. Not as strong in the left ear but in the right ear Jesus!

Your sympathetic nervous system is being stimulated. I have the same experience when I get extremely high. In other words,Tactile Hallucinations. Your nerve receptors that receive information to tell your brain that you're in contact with an object is in overdrive.

What is this? Why is this making me feel this way? I've noticed this sensation throughout my life and I've never had a clue what it was or why it happened. My first time experiencing this was when I was around 4 years old. I've always called it a braingasm. I have always remembered that little wink at 7:16 since I first saw it 8 years ago. Even after all these years this is one of my favourite ASMR videos.
I have insomnia so watching these videos actually help me fall asleep really well. If you don't understand the feeling, think about getting a massage or feeling a really soft blanket and think "this feels really good". Or for some maybe think about like the best sex you ever had. Not everybody will get a sexual feeling from ASMR. Everyone reacts differently to certain things. Being a girl, feeling a soft makeup brush on my face can trigger it and I personally get a tingling feeling from the back of my scalp, down my shoulders, to the small of my back. It's one of the best feelings in the world... Next to just finishing a tasty BLT.

There are way too many people who ignore correct grammar. Sometimes, like in gaming chats, people just type as fast as they can. So who knows if this person is a gamer or it could have just slipped their mind. Either way, I'm not sure correcting grammar is worth starting irritating arguments that lead to even more incorrect grammar for other people to correct. It just keeps going on. Granted, some arguments can get quite humorous. This is only my opinion, of course.
If you were referring to me, I was actually trying to defend those who don't think about taking time to write perfect grammar. Grammar is a pain in the ass. Sometimes I get frustrated with myself for not being able to type faster. It's a struggle really. By the way, your cat picture is awesome. :)

This video, especially the feather section, is why I love you so much, Maria. You're always so positive and uplifting, it's just a joy to listen to you.
I also wanted to mention that I really liked the word section, especially Kiss and Test. I think those are particularly effective for me because of the sharp sounds of letters like 'k' and 't' combined with the soft drawn out 's' sounds. So those are my thoughts for the moment ^_^
I couldn't agree more. I especially love hearing words that start/end with p, k, t and s. When Maria speaks them, they sound heavenly :-) Her voice is seriously otherworldly. I've never felt so at rest as I do when I listen to her.

I’m here in 2019 ....and I just got tingles FOR THE FIRST TIME. I’ve been watching Maria since 2013 to help myself get to sleep, I love her comforting relaxing aura and I love her as a person. I can’t believe years later I’ve just now experienced tingles for the first time ever. It happened in the beginning of the ear cleaning, that was the craziest feeling I’ve ever had. For those who haven’t experienced tingles yet, it almost felt like the first time I got high, like if you let yourself slip you’ll be out of touch with you body for a slight second and you don’t feel anything but what I can only describe as numb sparks. It’s such an unique & surreal experience, but once you start to concentrate on the feeling, it leaves you.
Of many I've come across, I'd say you are the best at this :)
Sometimes I lose my tingles and I can't feel it anymore. Maria is the only one who can break through that.

Yes In every Asmr video when its producer is a female .. Ive scrolled down and read lots of creepy comments. Out of interest, do any of you other ASMR enthusiasts also experience any forms of synesthesia? This, for those who don't know, is where words, for example numbers, might cause the hearer to see colours or sounds might make you experience taste or in the case of ASMR, tingles.
I've been an experiencer of ASMR all my life but it's only the last two weeks that I've discovered these videos and that the phenomenon has a name! I also feel that some tastes have shapes. I was having a conversation with my mother years ago and she asked me why I didn't enjoy eating honey. I replied that the taste of honey was shaped like an "L" and I didn't like the vertical part.
This woman is easily the best on RUclips for me.

Lone Existence I don't think I have proper synesthesia but I did read that ASMR and synesthesia were related and/or similar in some way. My experiences about tastes having shapes...well it's mostly just confusing for others who don't understand. They think I'm a weirdo basically.
***** My friend's wife became a neuropsychologist due to an interest in synesthesia. It was she who made me think my taste/shape thing might be connected to it. I've had strong ASMR reactions all my life. Funnily, none of the people I've spoken to about it had any clue what I was talking about. I suspect there's a Ph.D in it somewhere for some smart cookie.
I would hear a word and just about immediately connect a sound, smell, colour and even a food to it.... simple e.g. a name like Angelique would make me thing of white marshmellows with coconut ... and it would be a clear sensation and the number would sometimes be there and sometimes not... isnt this just plain old association though? What I do remember is that ppl thought I was stir crazy when I mentioned it, haha.

That happens to me too. In my right hear not my left lol my right completely spasms out along with my leg. My right side is just really sensitive. When I get my hair cut and they spray with a water bottle to wet it, when they spray the right side my back spasms lol
