His Punisher portrayal in my opinion is equivalent to Hugh Jackmans Wolverine, or Chris Hemsworths Thor. After seeing him as the Punisher I can't picture anyone else playing this role. This man is a highly underrated actor.
John Bernthal needs to come back and continue this. It doesn't matter Netflix or movie he is the Punisher. He's so believable in this role, it's never been done better

Dolph Lungdren was a great choice for the punisher but the movie was shit. Tom Jane was an awful choice for Punisher and that movie was shit too. Punisher Warzone was actually pretty good and they cast it well too but Netflix Punisher is the definitive Punisher fans been waiting for.

You can just crush your spleen during accident and literally bleed to death internally without single clue you should go to doctor. Same with cancer etc. I'm not sure if it's possible to have your neuronal system not detecting pain below high intensity. I know people with quite high pain tolerance, but they feel any pain, they just ignore it.
Amazing tribute and I would like to say that this shows how broken the punisher really is and how much pain he has endured before he became the the punisher and after and the bits of light that make his suffering a little bit easier
This is why Frank is so relatable. This is a man who has lost so much and who has seen so much pain that bringing it down on those who deserve it is the only way he can get his justice and vengeance

The love of his wife and children are driving him. However, I think he DOES care for Karen as much as he can. I'm okay with that as long as we get to see that he cares and interactions between the two. Lol, does that make sense? I so hope Deborah Ann Woll is casted as a regular on the Punisher series.
After watching this video and hearing this song the first thing that popped into my head was EPIC which this work is in every way. Hozier has a haunting voice easy yet compelling in his delivery and passion. Something timeless a blues bravado balanced with a soulful cry grabs you by the neck and keeps your attention firmly focused on his phrasing and lyrics. Once more this song is EPIC.
Glad it got canceled. The shows sucked. The DD episodes with Punisher were awesome but when they gave him his own show it sucked. The first season i fought to stay awake and the second i didn't get past the first episode.

I've seen a lot of good actors and shows, but Jon Bernthal as The Punisher/ Frank Castle is one of the best I have seen in my life.(In The Punisher and Daredevil) He just fits the role PERFECTLY. Amazing job Jon, and Marvel writers.

+lolilie Thank you! Coloring is most of the reason I couldn't stand my first edit in 480p. It all got so pixellated as soon as I tried to lighten anything up, and then it just went from bad to worse. This still took a lot of tweaking, especially on individual clips, but I'm happy with the final result. And yes, every single scene Frank and Karen had together was some intriguing television!
He was born for this part as Punisher. i don't like the role he had during Walking dead, felt like they wasted a lot of potential. although he did the best of it and deserves a lot of respect for it. i really hope he stays in his role as Punisher for a long time to come.

I became a Punisher fan as a kid. I watched the early 90’s movie over and over. This is the best Marvel series ever. It sucks to see it go for only 2 seasons.

The Punisher was, by far, the best of Netflix's Marvel adaptations. It is almost the antithesis of Iron Fist. The rest was a mixed bag.

I've never even watched Daredevil, nor read any Punisher comics, yet I am now attributing everything I read regarding Punisher with this mans face. He makes me think that the same way Tony Stark is RDJ, Chris Evans is Captain America, and Hugh Jackman is Wolverine, Jon Bernthal IS The Punisher now.

I've seen a lot of good actors and shows, but Jon Bernthal as The Punisher/ Frank Castle is one of the best I have seen in my life.(In The Punisher and Daredevil) He just fits the role PERFECTLY. Amazing job Jon, and Marvel writers.

I am honestly blown away. This video was absolutely INCREDIBLE. You encapsulated Frank Castle perfectly so much I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire video. The editing was achingly smooth, the song was almost too good a fit for it, and I honestly loved that you showed every. single. part of Frank Castle (not to mention him and Karen's relationship, which I think had insane chemistry and you also had that down to a T.) This is a work of art, no joke. I bow to you as a filmmaker and analysist of marvel heroes because DAMN. *applause applause applause*

+lolilie Thank you! Coloring is most of the reason I couldn't stand my first edit in 480p. It all got so pixellated as soon as I tried to lighten anything up, and then it just went from bad to worse. This still took a lot of tweaking, especially on individual clips, but I'm happy with the final result. And yes, every single scene Frank and Karen had together was some intriguing television!
He was born for this part as Punisher. i don't like the role he had during Walking dead, felt like they wasted a lot of potential. although he did the best of it and deserves a lot of respect for it. i really hope he stays in his role as Punisher for a long time to come.

Actually if they went by the sorce material he would've been dead by the end of the first season they really expanded the character for him.

I became a Punisher fan as a kid. I watched the early 90’s movie over and over. This is the best Marvel series ever. It sucks to see it go for only 2 seasons.

Yeah, totally agree, im huge fan of DC , but hell yeah, Punisher is fcking awesome, fits much more to DC, compare to all crap Marvel made before, i mean there is have to be balance between jokes and darkness in movies. Hope Marvel will keep this dark side at least in tv series, coz i dont even watch a "big" movies they made anymore (ofc i will make an exception for Infinity War) .
