FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CAN'T SEE THE MODS IN GAME, THIS FIXED IT FOR ME: Check that you have installed the mod in the correct "Community" folder. If you have installed the Sim to a custom location, you will have "Community" folder in that location, but also in your C:\users\.... location. Go to your C:\users\YourUserName\AppData\..... and locate your UserCfg.opt file --> Open the file with Notepad, scroll to the end, and check what is after "InstalledPackagesPath." This can be, for example: InstalledPackagesPath "F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator\Packages" This is the location Sim is scanning for mods. If this is incorrect, you can manually correct it in this file and save it.
Hey man, so when I was instslling the sim, I chose to install it on my D:/ Hard Drive, but When tried the method you explained, it showed that the folder was in my C drive. I don't understand. I also put the Mod in both folders because there is also one in my D drive and that also didn't work. Can you please help me.
Thanks man your the goat for this. I was able to find the install location as E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator, where the folders where. originally i had changed the name to the packages folder in appdata/roaming, but when launching the game it prompted me to install all of the official content that i already had installed in the E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator folder.

Make sure you have *show hidden folders* on, then try again. If it still doesn't work, click on the top bar where it shows the file path (it will be something like "Users > [your name] > AppData > Roaming > Microsoft Flight Simulator"). Then it will look something like "Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator". Add "\Packages" right after "Microsoft Flight Simulator" (don't add any spaces, and make sure you use a backslash ( \ ) and *not* a forward slash) then press enter and it should work.
if this doesn't work get the zip for any addon, (like a330) and extract it to "C:\Users\CHANGE_TO_PC_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community" [if you bought steam edition]
