Very impressive Brittany! My wife is a gorgeous little person too who also believes that she is a 6 foot 250 pound Amazon woman! You are a rock! A little one! But, still a rock! Drew’s life is safe in your hands! PS: that title should’ve read “thriving” not surviving.
You two are such rockstars - you both amaze and inspire me. This is such a wonderful series to watch. I always come away feeling hopeful and happy watching your adventures. 💗 Drew, it’s so good to get an update on your family in Florida. That community really went through it and the transformation is so heartening.
Drew, the way you handle adversity with such calmness is truly amazing and wonderful to witness. Brittney, you never cease to amaze me with your strength, love for nature and your go, go, go get it done spirit. You both inspire me to be better, do better and never give up. Sending blessing your way.🥰
hey guys! Welcome to Portugal :) If you need anything, ping us; we're in the Bragança area! The first year on a homestead is fun and filled with challenges. wishing you the very best of luck!
TBH you'd probably be fine leaving all your stuff there unattended, Portugal is a safe country ESPECIALLY on the country side, in the village where my grandparents lived everyone left their doors unlocked and stuff outside, no one ever touched anything that wasn't theirs and they used to share everything and gift each other a bit of their harvest like a big family, even if they didn't have much. I miss that place, now the old people there are dying off and it's getting deserted.
New people are moving in to fix the houses and land up and Portugal is going to be beautiful again like Mr and Mrs adventure and other's,we are all one family of mother earth.
Never underestimate how immeasurably capable you each are! I hope you are tremendously proud of yourselves and each other! As always, thank you for taking us along! Sending you prayers, love, and gentle hugs....🥰
Are you going to plaster the brick part of the water mill. Whit washed plaster will really compliment the original stone portion. All your hard work is really paying off...it’s just coming along so great. The clearing really is revealing many treasures.❤❤❤❤❤
It was so lovely seeing an update on Drew’s parents homes. Nice to see the reconstruction progressing nicely. Brittany you are a force to be reckoned with. You are such a hard working, strong little lady! The clean-up looks amazing. Felt bad for Drew when the van broke down. Poor guy. 🥰
Drew your parents have done so much, looks great! Life has almost returned to normal! Solo road trip to Michigan travel safely Drew make sure you rest when driving long distance! OMG Van issues alternator repair is so hard? Thank goodness it was a fuse! 👍😃💙 Britt you are being so industrious, all that plastic great for the environment? 😵💫 You deserve a hot shower & a lovely glass or two of wine! 💜🇦🇺🍷🍷
The plastic would hold down the weeds that can grown in a garden and if that'w what was growing there I pretty sure that's why for the plastic. In the States, people put plastic down in their veggie gardens plus the flower beds - to keep weeds from taking over. - So happy Drew got everything fixed and back on road and now is home in Portugal. Love ya both.......
Absolutely beautiful country! I love Portugal... Great work Brittany. I would have helped you out. Drew, you also did a great job. I love you both very much ❤❤❤❤
Hey Mr and Mrs Adventure, I just wanted to send some encouragement your way. This is totally the stuff that a life is made up of: taking one bite of the elephant at a time, thanks for sharing that excellent quote. Sometimes each bite takes a bit of chewing though 😂. And Brittany, I thought it was only in Scotland that we wore bathing suits and welly-boots! (Usually to the beach and usually in very different weather). Que seus empreendimentos sejam abençoados.
What a great video! Some travel, some time in Portugal, some time in Florida, etc! I just have to say, Drew, thank you for showing the scene and what Florida is looking like after the hurricane came through. It's so refreshing to see how far along the community has come! Wow! What a difference hard work and some time can make! Thinking of you both- sending love from Oregon, USA.
Hey Drew, I just got back home from Punta Gorda FL. I drove straight thru back home to Eureka Springs AR. 19 hours.... I am 68 so I had confidence you can make it to Michigan A-OK. Love watching all your adventures, Blessing for you both.
Wow girl. You did a great job. While Drew was gone. Keep going. Yeah Girl Power😊. And Drew Wow you poor thing. But you never gave up😊. Love too you both. Can't wait for more videos ❤😊
I was glad to hear Brittany that you enjoy some time alone and did some awesome work while Drew was gone!! You are so strong in so many ways!! I love the way you rocked the bikini and boots look!! Drew, you amaze me with all your talents and fortitude! And I love Lewis Howes too!!:) So happy to hear of the progress happening for your family and others in Florida! Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless us all in divine light and so it is. What a adventure for you guys, good work 👍😁🐔👏👏👏. Thanks for cleaning a part of the Earth.
Very good of you, Brittany, to decide to stay, testing autonomy ina country which will soon become familiar to you. Are you thinking to install a vegetable garden. Why not consider to explore to find the right spot? Just a suggestion to make time for the next few days...❤ Drew will be missing you and Portugal...

You both are amazing thank you for sharing the journey beautiful land you have im looking forward to seeing the inside of the water house'' im excited for you guys enjoy
Wow! I had to pause the video to say that I AM SO GRATEFUL ABOUT DREW'S PARENTS HOUSE!!! OMG! Showing the pool before and after really brought it home...what absolutely amazing progress. I have always wondered how a neighborhood rebuilds and survives after these horrific natural catastrophes...nobody really ever shows that and you did...thank you so much to you and your dad for explaining how it all works. And Brittney working the land in her bikini and tending to the van is a rockstar ...LOL...that goes without saying:) You two are a team even when apart. Much love to you both❤ UPDATE: SHOUT OUT TO "IN A DITCH, CALL MITCH! The mobile mechanic!❤
Hey Zari! Nice to see you hit pause to leave us a sweet comment. We think it’s really important to show the resilience of communities hit by natural disasters. My parents have worked extremely hard to get through all of this and rebuild. Their place is looking great! Haha Brittany is my rockstar for working so hard and having a blast doing it. 🎶😎 We love where we are now and watching the progress on our new place. We just love it 💚💚
In your bedroom ceiling, that is the t-bars and concrete bricks like you set the water tank on. But I would work on the outside of the house also. Finish cleaning the brush and make sure the roof doesn't leak.
Brittany, I look forward for when my husband or I go away! I need solitude, something that I don't get often. I love your land! Everything is looking great!
Love watching you two. I look forward to Sunday to watch your life journey! Suggestion you all need a golf cart or UTV with a yard trailer. I'm sure that will be in the future with land like you have. Keep up the awesome work. Luv you ² ❤
Good Work Brittney, that's hard work, the land is looking a lot better ! Drew also hard work, trying to fix your van on the side of the Expressway. You really got lucky finding mechanic that came over to help. And congrats, getting going again and getting to see your family !
I am 78 and when I was younger I found out I have a “completion strategy personality” what that means is if I start a project I have to finish it! But luckily a friend told me when I was in my 20 that I should prepare for when I reach my 50s I will not have the same energy so learn to take projects in “elephant bites” so now when I have to clean the house my “elephant bites” are one room at a time. If I can complete that it is a good day. I have a very large yard and love cutting the grass but it takes me 3 days most times using an electric push mower. If I have the energy to do it in two then I celebrate the win but I don’t push myself. So just know that day will come and setting projects in “elephant bites” is a good thing to learn to do at your age. Of course your “bites” are larger than mine but by taking the ‘bites’ we can celebrate a job done for the day!!!
I spent a lot of time by myself and I absolutely love it. I do what I want and go where I want. Eat what I want and sleep as long as I want. Plus I binge watch Netflix....
Roundabouts are the best, if all drivers know how to use them (which I know in European countries they do, cause we’re taught in driving school). They’re starting to put some in here in New Mexico, but so many have no clue how they work.

Great episode. You guys were all over the place. Watching those hurricane shots still gives me goosebumps, so sad, but the city is beautifully coming back. My husband took that Azores flight back in Fall, got stuck there for 2 days due to heavy fog, he said "never again". 😁. Boots and bikinis while doing yard work. Never thought of that. Good for you! 😄
Man to see you change the alternator is stellar. I got ripped off 2500.00 - serpentine belt broke and broke? The alternator too? Solo female vanlife-at the mercy of mankind.
I just subscribed! You 2 are amazing! This makeover is SO SPECIAL. I remember in the town I lived, Hillman, Michigan, we had a mill just this size, my favorite visiting spot while in town. Not there anymore 😢 Please consider planting some MORANGIA! GREAT green drink for your future foods. I keep trying to get them to grow here, 3rd year, but I won't give up!
