Pescador PRO Perception Trolling motor KIT INSTALL 100 120

- This video will show you how I install a full kit from start to finish on a PRO 120, Kits can be purchased through me. Contact info is below or at the end of the video.
1) "Bare mount" option includes mount only, unpainted with no Hardware = $145 shipped.
2) "Mount Kit" option includes painted mount, (6) SS bolts/washers/Well Nuts, (2) handle relocation Bolts/washers/nuts, Safety Pin for Motor = $185 shipped ,$18 extra for electrical connector
3) "Full Kit" option includes everything from front to back minus tolls and battery. Motor comes assembled, PWM Panel comes ready to mount, all screws and hoses included = $740 shipped.
If you are local (Central FL) I also do installs of the full kit for $950.

Very well thought out design. I have built a similar set up for my current kayak. But I am in the hunt for a new kayak, and thinking about motor set ups before I buy. In my current set up I put the bulk of my PWM controller in a water proof box that can sit inside the hull. I have a 2" x 3" box (or so) with the the speed knob and fwd/rev rocker switch mounted on top, with a digital volt meter on the side to monitor battery level. That small control box is just clipped to the seat. Saves cutting the giant hole in the haul.

Well thought out design, very impressed with your kit. I have a Pescador Pro 10 and have given a lot of thought into something like this. Still on the fence with all the hole drilling into my yak tho. Still very impressed!

You reckon the same could be done on the Perception Pescador Pilot 120 (pedal drive)? Could you use the pilot’s sterling control instead of the foot pegs yours.
Darrell Gibson I have not looked at one up close, I’d imagine footpath controls would not be a problem, I’m just not sure about the mount

When I put it reverse it tilts the motor up. How do you keep it down?
ehumaui 408 pressure from your feet on the pedals will keep it down, when putting it in reverse start out at a slow speed then keep your feet on the pedals firmly as you increase your speed

I noticed you mounted some wilderness systems xl foot braces on the kayak, did you have to drill new holes? Or did you use the existing holes from the old footbraces.
Jonathon lopez those are the regular foot pedals that come with the kayak.

Do you not test the pwm before you send these kits out?
I test them all and send a bench test video to the customer of the full kit operating on my bench

Does the trolling motor come with an MSO or any paperwork to register it?
Jose Gomez it’s brand new and comes with all the paperwork a brand new one would come with, not sure what they would say about the modifications to it though,lol. They are $130 new.
