Aylesbury Utd FC at Turnfurlong Lane - A Pictorial Story

In this video I share some of the amazing photos from the Bucks Herald archive. I start right at the beginning and show the site before development and trace the club's historic matches and events throughout their time at Turnfurlong Lane (called Wendover Road before 1973).

Great pics and some big wins there, love the big club name on roof of the stand. I went to the final match at Turnfurlong, great memories and used to cycle through the new housing estate to see school mates in Bedgrove.

My grandad told me this land was given to the people of Aylesbury. How come it became a housing estate?
