My father was born in the town in 1910, so I would imagine Aylesbury still looked much the same during his boyhood years. I like the music accompanying the beautiful photos, very peaceful and appropriate.
I absolutely agree Leslie, the old Friars Square market surrounded by loads of shops, the underground market, Wimpy, the old town had so much charm, my Nan used to work in Zodiac toy shop…………happy memories ❤
It may be looking through rose-coloured spectacles, but doesn't Aylesbury seem to have lost most of its charm? Mind you, I suppose that in 100 year's time, people will look back at photos of the town as it is now and say the same thing!

Absolutely brilliant. Well done.
Great video. What is the music? Love that too.
Aylesbury used to be such a lovely town, much better than the dump it is now

Thank you: my dad was growing up in the town during these years.
I'd like to study the photos in more detail as the shots moved too fast. Have they been published in a book?

How quiet it seems it was
