What if you hook the towel onto a high cable pulley and do the same motion? There is no up force needed by the bicep then. Would it be beneficial to do both?
With your arm on the table your bicep shouldn't have to do much work on these. This is mostly working pronation and ulnar deviation strength on the lower wrist.
I really love the way you often pick up from the day before, anyone really trying to follow along/progress along with the channel will be helped massively by this.
Hi brother. I want my strength training to be as practical for my viewers as possible. I love my plyometric box training but I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary for success in arm wrestling. The strength training I’m showing on the table or with normal gym equipment is much more useful to my overall audience and perfectly fine for building useful strength in the table. My box is cool but certainly not critical. The most important thing is training with a fixed elbow position, like on the elbow pad, and closely mimicking your arm wrestling position. 💪💪🤙
It really depends on what technique you're more comfortable with. Personally, I'd choose hook because im just stronger in that area but sometimes toproll when im feeling like devon for the day
Hi brother. It's the combination of movements that are the key here. Arm wrestling is NEVER isolating anything completely. These moves are designed to mimic the realistic strength you need to defend yourself in a hook and maintain an offense. After 25 years and working with some of the best people in the sport...these are my 2 favorites.

Thanks for interesting and informative video! What diameter of fat grip (ball) do you use?

Hey tim, great video!, but i want to ask what happened to the plyometric box why you don’t post about it

Hook or Top Rol

İts hitting elbow flexors more than pronation
