1:25: "Depends on your training-style." ... well, and it's also heavier to bend it from your hand. 2:55: Yeah, I agree. That's why I don't get at all why someone would have it on the wrist-bone. I'm training twisting the wrist from both directions in a sitting position with the elbow on my knee... usually with my hand under to stabilize. This way you're training wrist strength more exclusively, but can still get some arm training by lowering your arm (forward, back, to the side, however you want). So I like that better right now.
I'm a NOOB training to make it look like I'm naturally strong with my much smaller but Pro Armwrestler cousin this summer.. I keep engineering pullies similar to you and devon with the karate belts and everything, but I'm thinking of lifting shot-put balls up the side a thick pole with carved lines on the wood that you wax to reduce friction.. maybe even shape the wood to arc the lift.. with all the pullies Ive adapted from you, todd, devon, and that redhead, I have yet to see someone make curling weight a little harder but only because of actually pushing/pulling into a force like a solid surface? when you roll a heavyweight up a wall it gets awkwardly weighted fast and to push it over the lip is a small extra force so I wonder if theres a secret maybe even simple machine to create left..
Wich are good levels of strenght for this? Like, wich weight would you be considered strong with if you go for 5 reps? And for an heavy max. Isometric?
Whats the diffrance between having the belt inside of hand vs over the wrist? The reason I ask is because when I use my special strap I built I use it over the thumb from a "early possition(neutral)" in the cable machine. When I work wirh my budo belt I rather do from a loosing(hook) possition so I can catch my nemesis(he has an extremly fast and powerfull hit). Going to make some videos about how I use your program also about my little invention and some new equipment I will use in your top roll program. Just been busy with school/work/kids and wife having the flu.
Depending on which part of your hand you pronate. And in different situations we pronate with different part. So I recommend going around and switching up each or each other week,
Thanks for the videos. Which arm wrestling exercises have high carryover to Judo? How are the grip demands of wrestling and arm wrestling similar and different?
The thing you're using to lift the kettlebell. Is that a training strap or a martial art belt? I want to get one but don't know what they're called. I saw you left Amazon links in description but which one should I get if I want to lift kettlebells and/or barbell weights?
Yes, but it`s different variation and this is lot harder just because there is no support and your body needs to hold the weight. But of course supported will have more tension on pronator and elbow flexors that unsupported
I have been doing this exercise for a few days now, and I'm only now starting to feel pain in the elbow area. Do you have any tips for that? I only feel it when I do the exercise.
Ray, I have a question as to where to buy a belt like the one who uses tup in the video, I searched for dozens of nets but I did not find if I could help I would be grateful

Thanks for your support!
@@voiceofarmwrestling what happen if I do daily
@@lochanmahar9129 I think your muscles and tendons will overtraining, for this reason you need to give some time to your arm and wrist recovery.

Armwrestling Training by Ray I have heard that going over the wrist trains "defensive". But more pronation styles is more fun.

how much weight would you recommend and what is a good weight to indicate if you have a strong pronator or not?
15kgs modt probably
Where is the link for the belt?

How to strap it around weight
What do you think is strong weight ? Like novice, average, above average, strong, elite. What weight and for how much reps is considered strong ?
Are handgrips useful for wrist strength and forearm strength?
Not in my experience. They are good for keeping mass of forearms not building power.
They are good for crushing strength, great for stopping someone from slipping out in armwrestling.
Supbro See Brzenk hold Larratt trying to slip out in 2015? Those 200 reps of grippers must've helped.
Morgan O'Neill Brzenk is beyond grippers, Brzenk is beyond Russian and Asian strength level
Hola.
Una pregunta . ese egersicio se puede hacer todos los dia para tener resultado?
ó dia por medio.?
New sub😊
Great vid 👍 but how many reps ray?
Thans man, 10-15 reps for about 4 sets.
A book bag /belt/ or any online tool made for this
what is the name of that strap ?
What if I’m training for forearm hyper trophy. ?
Would it be harder doing this excercise with shoulder and elbow laying on bench parallel to the ground. The tencion will be greater I think.
Yes, but it`s different variation and this is lot harder just because there is no support and your body needs to hold the weight. But of course supported will have more tension on pronator and elbow flexors that unsupported
How much you lift sir
How often should you train your forearm it is okay if everday ?
I train them twice a day and although they are not the biggest, but a streght is increasing rapidly!!
BASICALLY
Is it normal for elbow to hurt when doing side pressure?
Is that good against a taller opponent?
how much weight you are lifting ?
I have been doing this exercise for a few days now, and I'm only now starting to feel pain in the elbow area. Do you have any tips for that? I only feel it when I do the exercise.
Kept doing the exercise until the pain leaves that part of your body , its quite common and the pain will go to another part if your body
How’s it going 3 years later?

I did that , now my wrist joint is paining as hell from 8 days .... Tell what to do please
I think you are overdoing it. Take some time off, don`t do specifc exercises for 1-2 weeks.
Ray, I have a question as to where to buy a belt like the one who uses tup in the video, I searched for dozens of nets but I did not find if I could help I would be grateful
Judo belt
Buy an judo or martial arts belt, tie a knot at the end,and out weights through it and lift 🙌
When I do some toproll exercises, I often get pain in my wrist in the ulnar area near the malleolus. Is there a way to do it without pain?

does chin ups helps in getting good in armwrestling ?
They help
How about pull ups?
@@Enzo-em1te Yes
@@voiceofarmwrestling which is better chin ups or pull ups?
I have a question are you building muscles on your arm and wrist when you do that type of exercise?
Yes.
@@voiceofarmwrestling My dad told me I shouldn't twist my wrist when doing that type of workout.
And when the plate stack gets to high. All you really need is another belt 😅
