I agreed and it's hard for people to understand you if they have not deal with narcissist abuse but if you're smart you will discover their two faces. Narcissist look for victims and they do everything inside close doors with out having witnesses. You never get no where with a Narcissist because they never accept the blame and always blame shift and confuse people by lying. They talk about you to family just so family won't believe you. The best thing I have done is avoid contact and giving the quiet treatment and not having to explain nothing to them because of their blameshifting. Thanks for your information. The person I know is a narcissist and is a fake Christian, manipulator, and controller.

Also the ‘ light’ upon realizing maybe choosing to be with narc. was more than just , say. failure to recognize being with him wasn’t healthy. Maybe it’s not quite this simple, but sometimes it FEELS right bc it’s so familiar! Example. Although my mother was not a raging narcissist, her tendency to disregard boundaries was close enough! I get it. My narc left yesterday. We were married 33 years. He had two chances to stay, he has made his decision.
I'm mad at myself for being so stupid and manipulated all these years, he's getting worse with age and has gotten vicious with his tongue and punches things.
I have to go. For better or worse yes, unless that worst turns to abuse.
God hates that, he is not a practicing Christian and we are unequally yoked. He even makes fun of my love for Jesus.
That's how I knew it was evil.
I release him, we are no longer married in a spiritual sense. I'm DONE. He can beg as much as he wants, he went too far yesterday, and he only has himself and his mouth

Only 60? If You're only looking at those behind You You'll always be ahead. The common struggle with the aging process is, it was intended to make us ALL a little wiser at an earlier age. I don't think most truly understand what they're saying when they borrow from words such as, "I digress". The truth is we all digress when we can no longer find opportunity to share what we've gleaned from an experiential Life. Unfortunately today, the world can't tolerate those who can see more clearly despite being surrounded by all the Spectacles.

I agree...gifts and callings of God are without repentance...however, we choose to walk according to the flesh or the Spirit. If the flesh, then grieving or quenching the Spirit can happen and as with Samson, the power of the Spirit may depart...until repentance and filling occurs.

When you mentioned "Confused Christian", that was me during my teens 40 years ago when I barely knew our Lord Jesus for a few months and I encountered a guy in college who told me I need to submit to him because he knows more about the Bible than me. My first reaction was "Who made you boss?". I didn't know if I should submit to this guy or not because I don't know anything about him. I remembered the scripture "Be wise as serpents but gentle as doves". So I simply kept my distance and listened to what he had to say. When I didn't jump when he said jump, he threatened me and said "Support me or I will destroy you". That's when I put my foot down and told him "Back off!".

    • @PrettyIndependent1
      @PrettyIndependent1 Месяц назад

Yup that was me once too. Narcs will take the parts that they want you to follow and throw out the rest of the scripture. Like the scripture is WIVES submit to your HUSBANDS. He was just a guy. Not your husband. And husbands are expected to treat wives like they treat their own selves. So no hypocrisy. No rules for her that you wouldn’t apply to yourself. Husbands are called to lead, honor and protect and it’s easy to submit to a man that truly has your best interest at heart, and isn’t trying to manipulate and control you.
My Christian narcissists were trying to say I need to forgive them for all their abusive behavior… that they hadn’t even apologized or stopped doing. The scripture is if your brother REPENTS… aka turns away from doing that behavior you are supposed to forgive them. You can still forgive them in your heart even without their repentance. But your forgiveness doesn’t mean you have to reconcile with them for unchanged behavior. I cut them off. Because the Bible also says to not even sit or eat with people operating in certain behaviors like they were.

I’m helping a friend out understanding her husband & your videos have been tremendously helpful. Her eyes have been slowly opened now…she loves the Lord & now realizes she is unequally yoked…she’s constantly under stress living with him. I told her your back story, etc. it is giving her courage. Thank you Kris for your Christian guidance, insight & for always bringing God’s truth into your presentations…God bless you & your work!

Your husbands behavior sounds like my adult daughter. I have finally come to the conclusion that she has the narcissist spirit. I also know that it was learned from negative family and environment. Because of my circumstances through the years. I was limited. I am a pro at setting boundaries now with any and everybody else. But because she is my daughter. I tried to talk to, reason with and point out things to her. But within the last couple years. Her behavior has gotten beyond disrespectful. I cannot stand for verbal and emotional abuse. It is said that narcissist cannot change. I do not want to believe that for her. I went before the Lord after a huge blow up! Toiled, prayed and cried! I looked up what the Bible says about Mothers and daughters. If you read it. May give you solace. Matthew 10. My answer was verses 34-39.
I love my daughter dearly. But I am learning… I desire a relationship with her. A Healthy one NOT Toxic! I will not settle for anything less.

He didn’t find ( yet) a better narcissistic supply.
That could be one answer,or he doesn’t want to end up with only 50% of whatever you two have .
Who knows and do you really care why???
I don’t see that should be his decision only.
Why are you still with him?
Haha 😢look I am not judging I am in similar situation.
I wish my narcissists will just go away but it’s not up to them only it’s up to me.
So I don’t fall for theirs BS,and try that their behaviour doesn’t effect me
But it’s hard because it’s not working 100%.
However they know me and respect my boundaries ( to a degree, haha).
You do end up getting sick eventually for they frequently forget that you have boundaries now .
Why do I still have contacts with my narcissists?
I suppose I love them ,I still care for them ,I promised to take care of them always.
I am to lazy to cut them off totally.
However in a way I did cut them off and tread carefully what I share .
The short clear sentences are only way to communicate and be able still to live with them and have peaceful existence.
It’s lonely sometimes but I have God.

@@dianabilic2649ear plugs are your best friend. Drowns out their legit nonsense and accusations of others. They are “the accuser” aka satan. The Bible states all of this, just written in a different generation. “Spiritual ware-fare” aka mental illness; they don’t want you to research how-to “overcome this world 🌎 “ bc this place is the closest to heaven they will ever get. Ask Jesus Christ to show you how to earn your crown (chakra) and if he feels your ready, he will give you eternal “life”

The son of God admonishing His Disciples to be "Wise as Serpents "BEFORE adminishing them to be "harmless as doves " . Christ Knew what we were Up against "be not decieved for in the world you will have tribulation but do not worry, I have OverCome the World " and his Ringing Words " for Greater is He that is WithIN you than he that is in the World " FatherGod Please Make us Wise as Serpents as well as being harmless as doves Give us the spirit of Discernment and Teach us how to Protect ourselves and Our Loved ones from Wolves in Sheep's Clothing !

    1. My mother used the verse Give and it shall be given unto you to take everything From me and my daughters. 2. My exhusband said if he wasn't a Christian I'd be dead. As he stole my credit money jewelry and then fought the divorce and refused to pay any child support or anything the judge ordered. Me and my daughter are homeless over it

My narcissistic husband laughed at friends who were honest about their intentions, saying they were stupid because they showed their hands. I used to wonder why he criticized and made fun of his friends so much behind their backs. I thought it was his peculiar sense of humor. Now I know it is narcissism.

Evil is a good word for narcs. They do not abide in the truth and they serve the demons that they carry. They resent God's ways. They rob, kill, and destroy. Unrepentant. EVIL.

You are the best ever related to this. I have read, listened and watched a lot of people but you nail it ✨
I'm the only one here out of 140 residents and more people that is not one even though I do understand that I can have some traits and I need to if only to know how to deal with THEM. My father, most of his family and too many more were malignant narcissistic people.

Great video. It's so clear. I have been making my way (stumbling blindly many times) through discovering these 7 through my error in falling into the potholes of *not knowing* them...and then having to sit in the misery created by not knowing them until I finally said "Aha ! I see what just happened." I just wrote down your list of 7 in a notebook for future reference. No need to spend any more time in misery. 🙂
The narcissist is quite crafty and that is knowledge I want to keep front and center.
Thanks again for this very clear video. Glad it popped up n my feed today !

Lately I haven't been put off for getting into it with the narcs in my life. Their mouth is their only weapon and it's more annoying than threatening, funny as hell when you understand what's going on. If you stick to the facts in an argument and are calmer than they are, you run right through them. I don't like arguing but I do love debate or getting to the bottom of something and that's how I look at it. It's not a fight, for me it's an exploration. I go at it with curiosity and a lot of humor and mild sarcasm. If I'm gonna be in a crappy situation I might as well get something out of it, learn something and enjoy myself. All the narc does is seethe and fume which they're going to do anyway. Even if it pisses them off, let yourself be heard. That's not to say attack or berate them but don't be shy or scared to say what needs to be said, because it needs to be said. Understand that most of what they're doing is trying to get you to shut up, DON'T. Right is right and truth is truth, if they get upset it's because they did it to themselves.

Of course the boss would have "respect" for someone who actually values themselves. They wish they had that strength.
