I didn't know how to join these squares. I have searched and searched. The other videos are too confusing to me!! Started to give up and came across this tutorial. I am SO happy !!! Great tutorial, I have granny squares I need to join and been scared of messing it up, I never know which direction to put my hook and now I know, always get very confused on different joining squares, especially when joining onto 2 squares.

@@SecretYarnery Probably just a lap size. I used H hook (5mm) and ended up with a 7" square. I am thinking I may need to use a small hook- your square on tutorial looked small than mine.

I have finished 60 granny squares which I intend making as a pram cover for a relo’s baby who travels a lot. I will join in four’s like u taught me. Now I’ll have make 25 other squares. After that could u teach me to then join the 25 squares to make up whole Afghan?
Hi, Juliet Ong! Join them in the same way - one at a time. I start mine by making a row as long as I want the blanket to be. Then I add another square at the top to begin a second row, and work down until that row is complete. It's a calendar blanket, each month has a different motif. Your tutorial helped it turning into a blanket!!

@@SecretYarnery Probably just a lap size. I used H hook (5mm) and ended up with a 7" square. I am thinking I may need to use a small hook- your square on tutorial looked small than mine.

I enjoyed this vid very much. It’s the clearest and best explained for a newbie like me. Can you help me move on from this step. I have finished 60 granny squares which I intend making as a pram cover for a relo’s baby who travels a lot. I will join in four’s like u taught me. Now I’ll have make 25 other squares. After that could u teach me to then join the 25 squares to make up whole Afghan?
Hi, Juliet Ong! Join them in the same way - one at a time. I start mine by making a row as long as I want the blanket to be. Then I add another square at the top to begin a second row, and work down until that row is complete.
