Say what you want, but the guy loved playing ball.
Enzo Gorlami and injecting the needle.
@@craig7138 I guarantee whatever team you root for had guys who loved "injecting the needle".
Enzo Gorlami you are right, tha’s a big true.

He still does. He wants to play again this season professionally.
The Manny and Ortiz one two punch in the middle of the Sox lineup was pretty badass.
I miss those day's...
@@craig7138 true, but not as big of a juicer than A-Rod combined lol and that whole Yankees team
@@craig7138 really?? Is that why he confessed to juicing when he signed that massive contract with the rangers?? And again with the Yankees?? Stfu and learn and get the facts
@@craig7138 Arod got caught 4 different times you dumb fook 😂
@@craig7138 The only team with two members of the 500-HR club who juiced.
Need the clip of him high-fiving a fan in the middle of a play in Baltimore
Yeah how did they omit that?
@@Jackmerius_Tacktheritrix5733 It was never in the middle of a play. It was in the middle of an inning though. And it's right at the beginning of this clip.
@@deckbose wrong, the clip at the beginning is from John Lester's no-hitter. There was also a play in Baltimore (also with Lester on the mound) where he back tracked, made the catch, high fives the fan and then doubles up Aubrey Huff at first base. ruclips.net/video/Md8j_Sq5Nbs/видео.html

@@DonHorvathIII Remember that play like yesterday. My dad was watching the game when it happened and goes "manny just gave a fan a high five during a double play!" Of course i thought he was bullshittin but he insisted i watch the replay and sure enough it went down just like you said. Loved those old sox teams, they were full of characters.
When he cut of Damon I was in tears of laughter, typical Manny!!!
I remember that game. It was HILARIOUS!
And Jerry was SO CONFUSED
Just sad that he quit on the Red Sox in 2008....no doubt if they had him all year, they beat the Devil Rays and most likely crush the Phillies. When he was being fun and killing the ball....wow that was a cool time!
Met him as a kid. Loved his energy and passion for the game🙏🏽
My God was he just a pure hitter. Everything on a rope and so fun to watch. Those Francona Red Sox teams were exciting to watch
Tito ran some fun, fun, fun teams.
Favorite player from my childhood.
You forgot the time he had a big water bottle in his back pocket out in left field, and the time he started running in because he thought there were 3 outs but there were only 2 and Pedro had to hide behind his glove because he was laughing so hard 🤣 I ❤️ Manny Being Manny! Great video 😄
This was a fun time for baseball.
I remember an at bat where he swung and missed and looked absolutely clueless. The very next pitch he hit a majestic home run. The absolute extremes of defeat and victory were stunning.
He was a genius at setting up the pitcher. That move was most likely a calculated move by Manny. Ortiz used to talk about Manny’s hitting genius and the way he would win the mental battle with pitchers. And Manny resurrected Ortiz’s Career by teaching him how to set up pitches to pitch him away and then hit to the opposite field by going with the pitch, something David rarely did before Manny arrived .
One of the best right hand hitters of all time..you just gotta love manny
High fiving the fan in Baltimore, and cutting off Damon's throw are two things I'll never forget in my life. There WILL NEVER be another player like Manny.
This is what baseball needs, fun players that love the game and give the fans a show and interacting with them. God forbid that the old writers get upset over it.....
Steroids or Not one of my favorite players and that swing of the bat he had looked effortless and he hit misiles, and I believe he started the bat flip....
Dude made my childhood dreams come true.. even tho they never came true
One of the best ball players of time """":""" Dominican made
Pure swag and the cleanest swing I've ever seen. He was my favorite player growing up. With him and Ortiz on the same team it was a nightmare for pitchers.
His swing may have been clean but his piss sure wasn't.
Sad we have very few players like this anymore. The kid in Cincy has some antics to him and is exciting.
The best manny for ever
Manny brought so much fun to the Red Sox. Sox Legend
You got to love Manny being Manny
Best hitter I have ever seen
Manny seemed like a really cool dude. Looked like he had a lot of fun on the diamond. And he played the game effortlessly. A big time game changer, was fun to watch. Great player and video.
He's been one of the greatest, he enjoyed the game like no other. Money was secondary to him!!!
No one hit the ball harder than Ramirez!
Watching him pahk homers over the lights and onto the Pike never got old, and his arm was a cannon….
Haha..I loved this guy!! 😊
Miss watching him and Ortiz back to back they were a sight to see
Would have also liked to see:
1) The "snipers" interview clip.
2) The Miguel Cairo home run robbery (with epic double finger guns).
Manny being manny was fun times.
Look up the vid where Francona tells the story of Manny jawing with Molina about stealing signs. Francona pleads to the ump “Manny doesn’t even know OUR signs!”

My favorite player of ALL TIME !!
I miss the big Manny ... you are the best.
One of my favorites. Hated when he got traded.
Manny will always be Manny.
gotta love manny 🤣😭
Best right handed hitter I’ve ever seen.
One of my favorite players of all time! Chipper and Manny were my childhood heroes!
I miss manny bro!
Put this man in the hall of fame
Happy 50th Birthday Manny Ramirez
Orsillo RemDog and Manny. Those were the F'n days.
And here comes the pizza!
Baseball just makes him so happy
Pitchers realizing they have to pitch to Ramirez and Ortiz back to back must’ve been one of those my butt hole is getting right moments.
Manny petting the dude was wholesome lol
The best Manny Being Manny clip would be when he was trying to get traded away from Boston and went to the plate to watch three strikes go by without lifting the bat off his shoulder.
Francona even said that he was trying there tho.
Miss watching him and Ortiz back to back they were a sight to see!
🔥🔥🔥🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴 La Patria King Manny The Real King El Real Rey Del Beisbol Dominicano💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Everytime i make a player in mlb the show i make him like manny with the dread locks and everything of course 99 overall too much 😂😂😂😂😂
I remember when they first traded him Jason bay hit a homer in his 2nd game and ESPN said “Jason being Jason”
Ahhhh Jason bay... He was a decent rental. Then he went on to sign with Mets and his career cease to exist lol shame...
Jonathan Recinos yup. I don’t count him as a rental. He was here for a year and a half
Te quiero manny ♥️♥️
As a Die-Hard Yankees Fan, couldn't ever help but love Manny being Manny. His antics actually convinced us he's naturally off LOL
I have a autographed Manny Ramirez bat
I was a little kid when he retired but from what i’ve seen he’s one of my favorite old players. Alongside Nolan Ryan and Tony Gwynn
if it was up to me; Manny would still be with the Sox in some way.
I miss Manny..I wish he had a role with the organization..His number absolutely should be retired
He shared the same number as Dwight Evans
True..why not retire the number for both of them? They were both exceptional talents.
@@christophers.4286 Though I agree, I'm not sure that's a thing Chris.
@@617sasso no it isn't..but how many players who wore the same number deserve to have their number retired?
Manny was good for the Sox but he wasn't omg great. Besides he didn't retire with the Sox, so no!!
Loved these tokes
Got caught for PEDs “manny being manny”
El loco manny 😂😂😂😂
It was fun to watch Manny. He made the game fun and interesting.
Manny forever
The best 3rd and 4th line up that ever was from the super Red Soxs that ever was!
Best two strike hitter in my 41 years
Miss Manny
1:30 i don't know why they make fun of this..Manny knew Damon had the arm of a woman, he knew he had to relay it
Legend
Manny best pure right handed hitter I've seen live. It looked like the pitcher was throwing him what he wanted to hit on purpose.
Manny... thank you for reppin' Washington Heights & NOW, thank you for using your fame to glorify Lord Jesus. God bless & keep you & your family, Brother.
KeepingTheFaith7 ameeen
Manny rep.wash htz all people love him
Manny catching the relay trow was legendary 🤪🤪
Looking forward to Manny being Manny in a SYDNEY BLUESOX uniform in 2020/2021!!!
Oh Manny
My guy manny . My fav player best hitter I seen.
He became my favorite player on the Indians, I was pissed when we let him go...my favorite player all time after Griffey and Joe Carter
My cousin grew up in his building as a kid in Washington Heights and he was always acting funny even as a youngin
Verry good manny
My favorite Manny moments hands down has to be the diving cut off
04 Sox will always be my favorite baseball team, and Manny was the front man of that team
ESA carrera SE LA PUEDEN apuntar a MI ídolo DE BATEAR PELOTA. 💙⚾👤💪👌
Will forever be my favorite Red Sox player. Ortiz is second but manny was my dude by a mile.
The best
El mejor 😖 extraño ver a manny en la MLB
As a Blue Jays fan and as a vehement hater of steroid users, I still love Manny. Such an unbelievable talent. Too bad he did roids because mini Manny that played longer would have been amazing.
I hated Manny as a kid because I had to. As an adult I really just wish he didn’t roid.
Go me ,he was the best batter right of all times
I wish he was a dodger during his prime after he left Cleveland. Manny was something else😆⚾️
Manny being manny 😃😃😃😃
Manny can do whatever he want to doing because no one play better
I’ll never forget when manny became an American citizen and came out waving the little American flag
My favorite player of all time .
for my ever was the best player right around the world, i love you manny
El Manny... 🙌 Dominicana💪
Dominicana power 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
Need this man in the HOF already
You can say what ever you want about Manny. But he put better numbers than Big Papi in Boston.
Otro pelotero como ese no vuelve a nacer el mejor en su tiempo from DR
Little crazy at times but was the man when it came down to whooping some yankees behind 💪🏼🤘🏼
Im a yankee fan but manny was a great player and David Ortiz NYY vs Boston great game always
THE GOOOOOAT MR WILD BEAST RAMIREZ🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
1:49 Shout-out to the old Stop & Shop logo
As a Yankee fan, I hated seeing this guy at the plate. But as a baseball fan, it is a damn shame that because of the steroid allegations and some of the antics, that he often gets overlooked.
This guy is the best right hand hitter, certainly top 5 minimum in the last 50 years. Maybe top 10 all time. There just was no consistent way to get him out.
He could hit the inside pitch both up and down, had phenomenal power opposite field. He could shorten up and hit the opposite field single in RBI situations. He could lay off the borderline pitches and force you to throw strikes.
You also hear the stories of being film room obsessed. How he would set pitchers up early so they would throw same pitch in a big game situation and crush it.
He also developed over his career as a left fielder and became a solid one with a good arm.
Again sometimes his diva behavior at times (not the good natured stuff shown here) gets in the away of all the hard work and accomplishment. You can argue that even at his salaries, he was still underpaid. AROD made more money. Jeters contract was comparable for less numbers. So some of that complaint was valid when comparing him to the other top guys.
You can also argue he is one of the few players to actually earn every dollar of every contract as he did not have a poor statistical year till he retired. Its insane.
Most long term contracts, guys have bad years towards the end. He did not have one single bad year till he left Boston and LA. Even in Cleveland in his complete years, he was excellent each year. Thats crazy.
Very good
