Watching these brothers playing seemingly effortlessly just proves why they are both revered in Nashville and beyond. True unadulterated talent here . This is really fine !
New to the show love it I know this way past the airing and probably already know this but I believe the guy you were speaking about the Strat design was Freddie Tavares. Really enjoying catching up on the episodes. Thanks Guys
Just discovered this now. I remember you mentioned this channel a while back. I’ll be tuning in and I’ve subscribed! I’ll have some questions. Cheers guys!
Thanks for the Podcast very fascinating for an Australian guitar player now living in Thailand. Question: can you please give your view on the importance of a clean and consistent power supply to a valve amp? Using a device like a Line Tamer between the wall socket and the amp plug
Really enjoyed this! The only thing better would be seeing Delbert and the band AGAIN at Ramshead On Stage in Annapolis, MD some night someday. Blessings to Etta!
You both have a very identifiable style. Who were your “go to guys” that shaped your feel? I know there’s always “salt, pepper, and seasoning” guys, but your meat and potatoes guys or gals. Also did the 5 years between y’all have any bearing on how you played and records ya listened to?
Great stuff boys!!!!...... .....Very interesting and informative. Tom could you give the history of the Danelectro U2 with the artwork and pinstriping ? Thank you , stay safe both of you and keep your site rolling on?!!!! 🤔👍
Please please please have Delbert on I’ve never heard him or have a clue who he is - I could google him yeh but you guys will “present him” perfect and you know the presentation is every bit as important as the taste. I’ll wait.
Excellent! How can viewers submit questions or call in? I would like to ask about your thoughts and experiences with amp attenuators? Even those small Fenders are loud as hell!
Bob Britt is not only one of the finest tasteful guitar players I know but one of the nicest people also. Until this show Bob never mentioned his brother To . That's something they'll have to workout. LOL
This is so awesome...you guys are amazing
Man, I wish you guys would release some more episodes. Very fun show

Tom's description of Delbert's singing, never too much, or too little, just perfect, describes my feeling about Tom's guitar playing perfectly.

For JB Lenoir song my guess is that Bob was tuned to standard and Tom was in open E? Thanks again.
Yessir
Delbert right?

You can leave questions here, email guitartalkwithbobandtom@gmail.com, or call 615-455-1610
I have personally never used an attenuator.
Do you like the old Valco Amps? I have a 5 watt with 8 inch speaker that I like. Similar to a Fender Champ. Same tube line up.
A lot of great Valcos out there
