Listen to All That Remains's album The Fall of Ideals from beginning to end. It's such a classic. It has everything in that metalcore sound that you love.
he is really born to late... he missed the best time in music... and had to listen hip hop... poor boy... but if you want music with sense, you have to listen rock music... if you only want to see naked women and listen criminals how bad the world is, then listen hip hop...

One thing you'll learn about All That Remains, is that all of their music is amazing. It's not all like Two Weeks. They have a lot of heavy stuff and a lot of clean vocals. There's a bit of everything and they make it sound so good! I'm glad you checked these guys out!
Btw dude, the song was cut in the official video from right before the solo starts up to the last few bars of the solo, that's why it seemed a bit of a drastic change but if you look for the album version of this song, you can hear it in its entirety.
I hate when bands do that, especially when it cuts out the part of the solo.

I saw them open for another act more than a decade ago, and was really impressed with them. After that, I started listening to them a bit, but always tend to forget they exist whenever I'm thinking about what to listen to these days.
It seemed they were opening for everyone at that time, because I bought tickets for another act and saw them open for them as well, not too long after the first time.

Chiron is my favorite all that remains song. It’s from the same album. They are a really dope metal core band.. right up there with As I Lay Dying and Killswitch.

I sent him Demanufacture AND Transgression on cd. Along with SEVERAL other cd's and dvd's. Emailed him the other day to tell him that the package had been delivered LAST Monday, he responded and thanked me, but no idea if he's picked it up, opened it, seen the stuff or what.
Also, just so no one else wastes their money if they want to send him stuff, here is what I sent (because I have no idea if my package will get an opening video or not): Alice in Chains - Essentials/Greatest Hits, Fear Factory - Demanufacture and Transgression, The Sword - Age of Winters, Dio - Greatest Hits, Rainbow - Greatest Hits, Led Zeppelin - Remastered/Greatest Hits, Type O Negative - October Rust, Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake and Killadelphia dvd, Metallica - S&M dvd and Rammstein - Völkerball dvd (Live in Nimes, France).
I had no idea what to send, because I was completely unaware of what others may or may not send. Frankly, I couldn't make up my mind, so obviously I ended up sending a bunch of shit that I wanted to him hear and thought that he'd enjoy. Hopefully, if anyone else is planning on doing the same they'll see this list first.

ATR got me through the pandemic. When I first heard them I knew it was a lifetime staple of music for me and I just started crying. To boot these guys keep their nose out of the mainstream media and the direction that entertainment is going, where it’s less about talent and self expression and more about imitating the opinion and language of those in power regardless of who is there. Stand Up is such a good song by them and a tribute to the courage of American heroes. ATR for life! 💪⚔️🔥🇺🇸
Alex you have to check out Annisokay, their a German Metalcore / Post-Hardcore band and they are soooo good, songs like "What's Wrong" "Day to Day Tragedy" or "Unaware" :)

You do really seem to enjoy metalcore, a mix of good cleans, some classic metal sounds and more rhythmic guitar chugging.
But overall more familiar understandable song writing concepts for someone coming in from a different genre. You would love bury tomorrow, maybe we should be moving you into emmure, vildhjarta, animals as leaders, hacktivist you would love, a grime/djent crossover with sick political bars being spat to some gorgeous djent chugs, and a smooth clean vocalist.
Gotta throw out some good modern British bands.

Alex, that song is from right around the time that atr started to shift more toward melodic styles. Check out "I'm not alone", "Chiron", "the airthat I breathe" for what was more typical of the kind of metal they recorded. Also play "forever in your hands" by them to your lady. Great metal love song. Regarding your "diary if Jane" react video, check out "firefly" & the entire albums of "dear agony" & "dark before dawn". Powerful stuff, ranging from songs that'll get you hype as shit to stuff that's so sad & emotionally moving that it'll make you cry if you can relate to what the song is about

Okay, my dude. My friend. I got home from work, sat down with the intentions of putting on some tunes and getting more work done… But I found one of your videos instead and got distracted. For two hours. You definitely got a new subscriber from me (I love the energy you put into your videos--- I can’t believe I haven’t heard of you before) and I’m going to try to sell you on this band I think you’d really enjoy. Ne Obliviscaris. Think about it. They’re an Australian band with a unique sound. They have a mix of vocals, a mix of instruments, and a wicked drummer. In one of your videos you’ve mentioned that no one really lets the instruments do the talking in their music… These guys deliver and exceed expectations. Some of their songs can get a little long, but they payoff is mind blowing. If I’ve piqued your interest, I’d recommend either Of Petrichor Weaves Black Noise, Forget Not, or Eyrie to start off with. Either way, my dude, keep on Rockin’. Love your videos!

If you like this kinda blend of metal/rock, id recommend soilwork's- 'nerve', 'enemies in fidelity', or 'let this river flow'. And scar symmetry's- 'ghost prototype 2'. Both bands have melodic clean singing with harch metal voclas, and melodic metal guitar. I understand you probably never heard of these guys, you dont have to react to it, but just jam to them. You wont be disapointed.
None of my favorite reaction channels have done Soilwork and I'm always pushing them. They blow most of these bands away and Bjorn is easily one of the best metal vocalists to exist.

Chiron is so fucking dope. I was pissed when they didn't play it live the only time i saw them, granted they only had like a half hour gig in the middle of the day. ATR always got shit on with venue lineups. They have so many classic metal songs and yet they never headlined shit. sucks.

Bury Tomorrow - An Honourable Reign
If you enjoy All That Remains and Trivium, then Bury Tomorrow will be right up your alley.
I would say lionheart is a much better song from that album
Eh, it's overrated IMO. It's a bit slow to develop and not as dynamic. While "An Honourable Reign" explodes right from the start and the transitions are *smooooooooooth* as hell. Them chunky melodeath riffs are delicious! It has one of their most powerful, most beautiful choruses, too.
@@excho I can't argue with that, its very catchy all the way through as are most songs from that amazing album, my initial response was abit lazy, I'm thinking more that lionheart gives a more archetypal overview of the genre that he seems to be digging right now, but he can't completely articulate what his niche is, I think lionheart is a slightly more instantly recognisable "metalcore" track.
But to be honest any songs by them would be a relief to see him review, I'm getting bored of all these super classic 90s band reviews.
