Here for Ellen ❤ Love her work and the enormous contribution to the world. Ellen was amazing as usual!

It would be great if you allowed her to finish her sentences I find often that you’re interrupting her mid thought, asking her to explain things when she’s in the process of already explaining it.
I also would be reluctant to subscribe to that interviewing style

Ellen actually corrected Sarah in her use of not so accurate expressions or understandings of the subject at hand. As an example "liberating" implies you are slave to something, or "mind body connection", it just doesn't exist in Ellen's vocabulary because mind and body are one unit, not 2 separate entities that need to be connected one to the other, they already are...one, and work as one

My first question was exactly that there is no mind-body connection, but its important to state these questions so people can understand the difference in the subject matter.

Thank you for the podcast, my first time to listen to your show. This guest was constantly interrupting and correcting you. I don’t care how famous a person is, the amount of respect they show others does matter.

This was a wonderful guest: rich discussion, wealth of knowledge, excellent relatable real life examples. I'm going to rewatch and take notes! I love her strength, wisdom, experience and dry Boston humor (former New England-er here). I laughed out loud and had ah-ha moments. Loved it! Thank you 😊

Sarah, thank you for having such strong women on your Podcast. Clearly it's not easy to hear what they share but beneficial most of the time.

Wonderful conversation. Love the part about bringing nursing home residents to the casino. The places I've worked at , the residents LIT UP for their outings to play the slot machines ❤❤

Just because Ellen isn't to everyone's liking, I believe what she is saying is very helpful. You don't have to like someone to find value in them. Focus on the topic.

Dear Sara, you have a renoun famous expert who you are interviewing; you'd do better letting her talk and quit trying to interject yourself. It is as though you are trying to put yourself on her level. You're not. As a host, let your guests talk. Please be open to learning to get better at what you're trying to do here. Don't try to conversation with her. Just guide the direction of the talk. It would be better if you let experts do their own teaching path. Best to you

The power of positive thinking is not a new concept nor have I ever found it a useful or practical tool in the long run. Sometimes we simply find ourselves living in stressful times historically speaking as in “the dark ages”. Just mind over mattering it doesn’t really improve people’s overall experience. Sometimes actions speak louder in that when we become complacent to events and people around us apathy has developed and individualism and hedonism must give way to sacrifice and standing up for the collective good of humanity if it is to thrive much less survive. I believe we are currently living through one of these evolutionarily trying epochs of time unfortunately.

In my view, I've heard Ellen speak before. While she makes some valid points, she comes across as arrogant in her belief that her 45 years of research validates everything she presents to her audience as completely accurate. This stance leaves no space for additional discussions or differing opinions from other researchers who may have alternative perspectives. Research is subject to various interpretations and is constantly evolving, as it is an ongoing process.

The interviewer tried very hard to change directions and encourage new thoughts and ideas from Ellen to no avail. Ellen seemed intent on repeating the same stories and references she has used in other interviews. I found Ellen a little disagreeable and very focused on her book and not on the conversation she was having.

@@michiestanley did the interviewer seriously just go and like this comment? wow.
That says a lot about the interviewer and nothing about the guest.
