I am am a teacher who became allergic to all antibiotics 30 years ago. I mostly healed myself with silver solution and homeopathic remedies, only when I really thought I couldn't heal on my own. I find it so amazing and I would rather not see a doctor.
yeah, I stopped wearing my cheaters about 3 months ago and my vision has improved immensely. Now, I do notice when I eat high carb meals, my vision is blurry, so I don't eat a lot of things like pasta and bread, and sugary sweets. I also notice that it helps my vision a lot when I stay hydrated. I also notice that when I'm looking at my cell phone for a long time that makes my vision much more blurry.. As a result I don't use my cell phone as much as I used to.
It is so interesting that authors who are promoting their books invariably say the same thing in each interview. There is little variation and thus it is not interesting to listen to them more than once. It would good to vary the conversation or interview a bit, not just the same stories that are told over and over.
This is awesome about how her mom had a spontaneous remission of pancreatic cancer - holy smokes!!! Yes in the hospital and "care units" they consistently ask you, "ARE you in PAIN? What is your level of PAIN!? I've never heard the word PAIN PAIN PAIN more in life!" Wow talk about negative thinking!!!
Awesome! You guys r doing a great job.taking humanity to another level. It was always fright or flight.this podcast is giving the courage to going beyond for there can be a positive part which we have not thought(because of our limiting belief/ignorance etc.) of could ever happen.more light on how stress can turn out to become something beautiful should be emphasised as our whole life is all conditional.there is no hard and fast rule.if it was like that then there will not be any place for progress
Might be interesting to consider the argument of not being mindful and it’s value. The reduced stress for those incapable of being mindful. For them ignorance is bliss. Being mindless and in autopilot allows more energy to go to parts of the brain that can be very creative like the Default Mode Network, like when you stop thinking about the problem and take a walk and then the answer hits you. And BTW , some spontaneous remissions also happen to those that believed they were going to die.😂 .
I always had a question the largest goes below the bells that are higher up in the tower how do largest Bells get connected to the Carolina but Caroline is higher up in the tower
Look into vedic knowledge systems and will find the power of mind. What the yogis were able to do with mind power was mind blowing. Until our culture got systematically destroyed by the colonists
How can you call her ' mother of mindfulness ' when the Buddha and thousands of Indian yogis, gurus, mystics have been teaching this for thousands of years?
I think we all know this, but I guess maybe for us Westerners she would be "that" person? Maybe they're just amplifying her importance. Buddha, Indian Yogis, gurus, etc. all are Eastern-based and over the years, with the West taking on more of the Eastern-based beliefs, it's a "thing" now. I much rather practice and learn from Buddhism where it originates from than a professor of psychology, lol.
Idc what u wanne call her so manny poeple are living life, dont know wtf they are doing or how or why everyone living clueless any person or podcast that try to teach me i all respect them highly. If its all so flat out in front of us why dont we live like ur indians or buddha ur talking of
except that psychology like many other areas have a major replication crisis and psychotherapy and mindfulness are consistently over promoted and the harms ignored.
