A real rap legend from the first wave of rap/hip hop coming out of NYC in the 1970s, he was one of the top rappers in the era before hip hop was pressed to vinyl. Every musician should read about Grandmaster Caz's role in the making of Rappers Delight by the Sugarhill Gang,a real cautionary tale about songwriting credit and theft of intellectual property.

I think a lot of people think he just hopped on the scene when he has been around since the 90's. Shit... he got verse of the decade for uncommon valor on the Jedi Mindtricks album. Then also put it out with just his part without Vinnie verse as well. R.A. is a damn good MC but very under appreciated except by hardcore fans and actually OTHER MC's.
