dude they aren't really underrated I remember back in their prime like the early 2000s or so they were all over the place.. And thats pretty big for this style of hip hop considering back then the radio and tv and all that was playing like bullshit crunk and like 50 cent type shit lol.
I love how cerebral these rappers were. Their vocabulary is astounding, the concepts they rap about are complex, and most of all they are humble and don’t try and outshine each other

J5 was insanely good. Their live performances were insane too. Wish I would have seen them more when they were still touring. Lots of great videos of full performances on YT.

saw jurassic 5 when i was 14 in 1999 at the vans warped tour in calgary alberta, they let me chill with them for a good hour and gave me a shirt then they all autographed it, such humble dudes inspired me to get involved in hip hop at a early age 👊

I was at an electronic music festival in 2015. As a surprise Jurassic 5 showed up. There were 4 of us out of maybe 5,000 (multiple stages). I ditched my friends, girlfriend, literally lost my group and had to get a $100 taxi home alone instead of with my friends. Worth it. Saw them perform this song.
