fun fact for poppt: you can set up a shield break with pyra by down airing their shield and then down smash it will most likely always break the shield but if not it will do a lot of shield damage the down smash doesnt even have to be fully charged

Personally, I recommend you stick to Lucina/Ness if you plan to win because players are a lot more patient/observational (like Hive Mind) when there's something on the line and your inexperience with Pyra/Mythra beyond the fundamental approach of your character (how to react/adapt when your traditional gameplan doesn't work and the other player is comfortable with the timing of your character) definitely shows to me from this video.
Though I'm no expert, maybe I'm just an idiot but that's my take because you asked haha. Hope you find this useful :)

I honestly find it uncanny how fun I had playing them. When the reveal came out, I was like, "Oh ok. They're just like. Pokemon trainer with a form switch. NBD. Nothing new." Playing them and it's super weird how actually hella fun they are for me.

I'm glad you're enjoying Pytra but I still think your Ness is the hypest
Poppt1 is using Chris Smoove audio, he is a man of culturee.
Nearly all of Pyra's attacks can kill the cast at around 130% (heavies excluded).
You can litterally just throw out a bunch of moves when you're opponent is at kill%, if a random one hits it pretty much always kills.
The way you feel about Pyra/Mythra is ironically how I feel about Min Min. But I also favor range over rushdown. So I'm a bit lame.

After u get the mythra kill confirms down is definitely recommend learning the pyra side b footstool setups. They’re pretty easy and super good

I think both of them combined are high tier because I can tell that having great frame data, great range, disjointed hitboxes, amazing mobility, and great kill power combined is really good, but do to the fact that they're still pretty new I wouldn't want to say their top tier. Also their recovery is pretty exploitable.

These are the best dlc fighters by far, also the music they brought are all straightbangers
Mythra is like Sheik + Lucina and Pyra is like Ganon + Lucina. They feel crazy. I think they're definitely overhyped a little bit cuz new DLC and they haven't been fully figured out yet but I think they're still high tier at LEAST.

Playing as Pythra is a great way to quickly prepare yourself to fight them in the tourney. No idea if that's actually true, but if it is that's a totally legit reason to keep having fun.
Everyone was screaming "OH MY GOODNESS STEVE IS GONNA BE BROKEN!" or loads of other DLC characters that had a few good moves then everyone was just excited for this like the first DLC character nobody was saying was gonna be OP but then this is the only character that ends up truly OP

I also didn’t initially like battlefield for them but Mythra’s platform pressure is insane
My opinions on pyra and mythra:
Mythra is the common lead due to her combos and frame data, which is very good. However, her damage output is very low so pyra can match her damage because despite pyra worse frame data, he damage output is really high so she can match the damage that mythra does.
Advantages for each:
Pyra has better edge guard moves because hers aerials actually kill. She can also ledge trap quite well with side b. She also has great damage output
Mythra has a better recovery and as I already mentioned, she has better frame data and combos.
Personally I prefer Pyra because she’s easier and can kill, but I like mythra as well. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
fyi, mythra's down tilt > neutral b kills if you charge it. when she raises her sword on neutral b it actually has a repeating hitbox that keeps opponents trapped in it.
When I first started playing Mythra/Pyra it took me about an hour to realise that she is busted. I told my buddy, he wasn't sure but now he hates fighting me (it's mainly just Mythra/Pyra nowadays). I hadn't seen a lot of people saying she was good which surprised me because I thought it was fairly evident. I love how you actually think she is good and how you consider playing her at the world tournament. I can't wait to see what you do with her next!

Love that you can quite easily make a 70-100% combo with pyra. Side b, footstool, jab lock and repeat until kill percent. Works if the opponent can not tech haha

If you’re having fun with pyra and mythra then yes, I suggest you keep practicing. Practice does make perfect.

For Mythra's Neutral B you might want to charge it just a little bit more for a better chance of having kill confirms
