Well I did wonder if you guys would enjoy these "worst to best" videos and you watched the last one in pretty huge quanitities so I'm gonna take that as a yes. This topic was always on the cards and I've been waiting for the final Smash Direct for ages, basically ever since Kazuya. In a weird way, I wanted the Smash DLC to end as quick as possible. I know, I'm a monster.

I still feel bad for Terry being completely overshadowed by the Sans Mii costume that was revealed immediately after him, at least here in North America. The Latin American community was super hyped for Terry, though. Fatal Fury is huge down there.
I’m pretty sure the Sans costume was revealed during Banjo & Kazooie’s presentation, not Terry’s.
Terry is cool. I was kinda meh about him, but he plays well and is a likeable character.
@@1000Master You are correct in that the Sans costume was revealed as part of "Sakurai Presents: Banjo and Kazooie". But Terry's inclusion in the Fighter's Pass was revealed in the Nintendo Direct that took place earlier in the same day. In fact, I'm about 99% sure the Banjo and Kazooie presentation streamed immediately after the Direct, so they were in very close proximity.
Terry and also Kazuya. Two game franchises that are HUGE in latin America.
@@ClefairyRox im very sure it wa during the same direct as the banjo reveal
"Just make everyone else have stretchy arms, problem solved."
Sonic: *gestures wildly at the Sonic Unleashed 60fps patch on XBox Series X*
“They can wield a collection of fancy weapons that I sure can’t pronounce.”
Seems kinda hilarious when Byleth literally shouts out each weapon’s names while using them lol.
Man, seeing all the reveals were great, even if they weren’t characters I felt super strong about or were connected to, but seeing Sora finally get his chance made me realize how good it felt seeing this be one of your personal picks make it.
It was such an emotional moment that gave me a pick up during a rough part of my life.
While Terry wound up being my favorite character to actually play as out of the DLC fighters, the massive "hol' up" moment that was Sephiroth's reveal was an even bigger shock to me than Steve. Somehow I had totally forgotten that Final Fantasy has some awesome villains up its sleeve and none of them were in the game up to that point.
Sephiroth's reveal trailer still gets tears out of me *straight up am actually crying as I type this* because I never thought it was possible. Sephiroth would never be in Smash and then... that transcendent moment where he slices the big bad in half and then leaving everyone to wonder who could've done that and then One winger Angel starts playing and you knew who it was before he even appeared in the trailer.
2020 was a shit year but for me... that single moment salvaged parts of it for me.
Seeing the reactions of Sephiroth from everyone online. I'm saying that his reaction was by far the best. His trailer was the best.
Sora's was second best. But the perfect conclusion.
2020 was a shit year for everyone, trust me! Sephiroth was one hell of a consolation prize for a lousy 365 days!
The Sephiroth trailer is when people popped off the hardest about Smash, outside of Mega Man and Everyone is Here.
@@billybobjoe1335 I feel as if there were as many or even more for characters (or miis) like sans cuphead and especially Joker and Steve those dudes where unreal
Corny comment 😂
This video helped me relive every single DLC fighter reveal, which was very beautiful and sentimental for me. From the perplexed questions of "who?" to the absolute joy of seeing Banjo come home, to the funny block man releasing a compound feeling of bewilderment and, something else, that I still cannot describe to this very day, to the final DLC making me very sad that this was all coming to an end, perhaps for good, with just the most beautiful sendoff. Thank you for giving me an excuse to experience all those feelings again.
Me reacting to to Steve getting in: Hey, cool.
Me reacting to Piranha Plant getting in: HOLY SHI-
(I have an odd taste in Smash Bros)
Piranha Plant doesn't count because it's more of a pre-order.
This list just further highlights how amazing Smash Bros Ultimate really is. Any one of these could have been the most hyped, insane announcement.
If you think about it, this especially applies to Piranha Plant of all characters, since throughout the entire Mario Franchise (spin-offs or otherwise) one has never been made playable unless it was Petey Piranha. Other minions have been playable but never the plant. For it to make its playable debut in Smash Bros. of all things? That's pretty badass and massive for them.
@@GameAW1Mario Tennis Aces?
Banjo was the character I wanted ever since I first played Melee. But the sale of Rare to Microsoft and his lack of relevance in the ensuing years made me give up hope. Then they replayed that King K. Rool trailer, that Jiggy bounced across the floor as ecstatically as I did.
Now I main Banjo. I can't leave Smash Ultimate even if I wanted to.
I never played any games that the dlc was from. I just felt happy for my friends who loved them. I felt happy when Sora got in because it's hard to believe they got a Disney character in smash.
A keblade is neither a sword or an axe, or even a blade for that matter. It's an oddly shaped club that functions more like a magic wand than a military weapon of any real effectiveness.
Oh yeah that makes sense
I love the sound it makes. It sounds like a smack
Some of them are swords though, oddly enough. Divine Rose and Ultima Weapon come to mind.
Eh its more of a blade, gets its name from the blade of light that cuts when you swing it, also, some are quite literally swords
While I kinda feel of the Kingdom Hearts train the Keyblade is still one of my favorite Videogame weapons only rivaled by the Taranis.
Everyone else "myth-ra"
Rabbid Luigi "meeth-ra"
Still not sure why RabbidLuigi still hasn't played Xenoblade 2 in any thorough capacity.
"...feels like Mario when there are 80 characters to play with"
....but...Mario is one of my mains....
I think the best DLC PACK (as in things included with the character like the stage, spirits, etc.) has to go to Kazuya. The character is ridiculously unique, even for being the 4th fighting game character, the stage is super pretty when in omega or BF mode, the music... well its all from Tekken so you KNOW it all slaps, and the mii costumes provided a ton of fanservice for the fans of characters that didn't make the cut. Shantae even got upgraded from just a spirit and came with her own music track
No
And unbelievably broken
Heared of joker? Youre objectivly wrong also fuck kazuya he breaks the game remmeber when we thought arsene was op HAHAHAHHA
Honestly to me..everyone has their opinions on the DLC smash fighters..but honestly for me.. Not one Smash character in that roster was bad. Not at all. I loved playing as each one..and I still do to this day. But yeah...thank you Smash Bros Ultimate for being the greatest cross-over of video-games that there ever was. Along with being a true celebration to video-games.
@GalaxiaKnightX
I agree with you.
I can understand why Hero is so low for being inconsistent, but as someone who loves luck based mechanics, I find he's incredibly fun for both serious play and memeing about in casual
Honestly I don't. His best stuff doesn't even come from his random mechanics. He has competitive success because he has good normals and good specials, with his down special being the only random one among those, but even then he can consistently get useful things from it. Even with crits he still gets good damage and knock back off of smash attacks without them. Placing him below Byleth and MinMin was baffling to me.
You know, I only just realized it when you said it, but yeah Sephiroth didn't have a Smash invite, he did just show up
AS resident Kingdo Hearts Shill. Sora made me cry, but setting aside biases. I feel like Terry was probably the best one presented, because it allowed Sakurai to go into nerd mode for a bit while he was explaining who Terry is and why he put him into the game
I'll be honest, this is the perfect way of distincting "worst" and "bad". Like, Hero being the worst doesn't mean he's bad at all, he's fun to play and his Russian roulette of a down special is hilarious, especially if you change the language so you haven't the foggiest what you're using. Byleth is easily one of the best Fire Emblem characters we have and that's before considering that they're the only character to represent spears and axes if you don't count villager (does dedede with a hammer count, idk) and is well-rounded and fun to use. Pyra & Mythra are great representatives of Xenoblade and they make for a fantastic stance change mechanic (not to mention I can't help but appreciate the improvement to their designs). Steve is just absolutely mad and weird and embodies the 200IQ play, not to mention is DELICIOUSLY accurate to his source material. Sure, some are better; Sephiroth feels downright unstoppable in the right hands, and is flashy and lethal without being overpowered, but none of these characters are bad, just some were better than others. And that just highlights the sky-high standards Smash has.
The amount of minute detail Smash put into Terry and Kazuya, from the low-health power boost of Fatal Fury to the one-on-one camera angles of Tekken, serve as vivid reminders that Masahiro Sakurai loves all games more than you will ever love even just one of them. Kind of humbling when you think on it.
Pyra and Mythra were my number 1 most wanted. I love this game.

I bought 3 dlc characters last night and kazuya is my favorite
@@Braylon1997 What were the other 2 characters?

I gotta say, even though Hero is one of my favorite of the DLC fighters, you made some very good points about his moveset/playstyle. As much as I like the idea of his gimmick and how it pays homage to Dragon Quest, it doesn't really stack up to much in practice.
As someone who was called insane multiple times for predicting Sephiroth, seeing his reveal felt so good
Banjo was probably my favorite one, its a good reference to the game and just looks great

@@SupeOcarinaBros Same brother. Well, Banjo and Sora main but I don't play favourites lol
Joker's reveal and his character will forever be my favorite in all of Smash (although Sora's came pretty damn close). So glad to see this DLC pack start and end so well!
Just the sheer fact that Joker was the first and as such nobody knew about the fighter passes, as well as Persona's new found popularity with 5 being the biggest game and Atlus tending to make spinoffs (meaning it very easily could have been early announcement for Strikers or some other P5 game), meant that the Joker reveal was the definition of "Never saw it coming", and the fact that Joker (and by extension Persona) weren't on Nintendo systems at all meant that the veritable flood gates were opened for possibilities. If Joker wasn't the first, other character ideas like Master Chief would have only been considered joke characters, all rules of eligible for Smash were out the window.
@@karmicrespite5737 Persona Q on the 3DS is the reason we were allowed to get Joker. He didn't break the rules, they were all still in place. Which is why characters like Master Chief would never have happened.
@@Kamakiri86 I looked it up and you are kinda correct, though minor correction that it's Q2 not Q (Q is crossover between 3 and 4, Q2 is a sequel with 5 joining the crossover). Q2 came out late November of 2018 while the Smash announcement was in December, I think I read a lot about how Joker wasn't on a Nintendo console so that's why I said it, but yea it looks like he was on a Nintendo console when the announcement happened, my bad.
@@karmicrespite5737 I don't think the rules mean the characters have to have been on a Nintendo console, just the series they're in. I could be wrong, it's been a while since learning about these rules, and I don't know how to look that up.... or be bothered too lol.
It should've been an SMT rep like demi fiend since SMT is just more important, Like without it persona and hell.. Pokemon wouldn't exist
Good list, kinda hurts to see banjo so low but the reasoning is completely understandable. Actually I found this channel many many years ago because of your top ten difficulty spikes in gaming, and because rusty bucket bay was in the thumbnail. Good times man
"As if anyone was gonna see that coming." Rabbid you brilliant man.
Piranha Plant will always be my favorite. No regrets.
I missed Sephiroth's reveal trailer and believed his entry was a hoax, when I looked for the trailer I went out and bought both Fighters Passes because I _wanted_ Sephiroth. I never expected he'd make it, but I'm sure glad he did.
But when I saw the reveal for Sora... I felt like I was witnessing a moment in history. Even though I 100% believed that he'd never make it in, that it was either going to be Rayman, Doomslayer, or Crash Bandicoot... when that flame transformed into a keyblade and that absolutely *gorgeous* arrangement of _Simple and Clean_ started playing, I was ecstatic. I never got around to playing Kingdom Hearts back in the day, but I was still excited nonetheless. His reveal was something special, just recalling it makes me emotional and seeing how excited Sakurai was to announce his inclusion was the cherry on top.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate was my _formal_ introduction into the series. I played Smash 4 with my college but I got Brawl for Christmas 2018. It was a wonderful experience that took me on such a joyride. As sad as I feel knowing it's over for now, I'm still happy I got to share the experience with so many people.
I still subscribe to the Byleth conspiracy. I think there was a monster hunter fighter who fell through and got reworked into a 1st party character
Plus, Isn’t it odd to think that Rathalos is the only boss in Smash Bros. Ultimate who doesn’t have a playable character counterpart? And that dragon originated from Monster Hunter, Galeem & Darkhon as well as Galleom (the robotic boss, I know Galeem and Galleom are easy to mix up but they’re very different) so anyway those 3 don’t count because they’re Smash originals. It makes you wonder if a Monster Hunter was originally intended to be a character in Smash Bros. Ultimate, although I would argue that Byleth is one of the best out of all the Fire Emblem reps. If it were up to me I would cut Lucina, Chrom, and Corrin from the game because I think Marth, Roy, Ike, Robin and Byleth serve as perfect representation for Fire Emblem while also offering unique movesets, while also not having too many reps and not too few either, it would’ve been perfect, that way the roster would be able to fit more unique with unique movesets, I know Corrin is kinda unique, but I just excluded Corrin because that character is just kinda boring to me.
@@Azureblue25 Nintendo wanted to use Monster Hunter, but the Monster Hunter devs wouldn't allow it. The good news they have no problem with the Monster's themselves.
If Strategy RPG's are liked in Japan, why does Fire Emblem games sell so poorly until now. Even in Japan there was Strategy games that overshadowed Fire Emblem. In the 3ds there was less competition.
The basic summary of min min is that she became marth's grab, the character
15:57 Oh this aged terribly.
I never dreamt Pyra/Mythra would make it in after they missed the original cut. Absolutely the easiest buy for me, personally
They were my immediate first purchase
Still the only DLC I bought haha
Same. Lost my mind when they were announced
@@gokublack9724 I bought the whole fighter's pass JUST FOR THEM.
Before them I was like "eh, pass 2 aint looking so hot for me."
Basically the fighter that singlehandedly redeemed the fighter's passes for me. Everyone else was a stranger and an abject disappointment.
To be completely truthful, back when I played as cloud on wii u i said to myself "Man I love playing as cloud, I wish Sephiroth was in here instead but cloud is alright". So when the fighters were being revealed I was hopping for other villains like Porky or Dark Matter.
But when I saw that trailer and realized he was in the game, I was completely satisficed.
15:57 Nintendo: *NOTHING.*
5:10 umm, Gold Mario IS in Smash Ultimate, playing on Golden Plains with Mario and collecting 100 coins, or summoning Xerneas from a pokeball will turn him gold.
I expected a tier list.
I'm glad that now Smash can hold the Sora & Cloud vs Sephiroth battle we've always wanted, and a battle royale between Tekken, Street Fighter, and Fatal Fury.
What a mess. I love it.
Ikr, not only do we have that, but we also have Mario & Luigi vs Bowser, Link & Zelda vs Ganondorf, Pikachu vs Mewtwo, Kirby vs King Dedede & Meta Knight, Fox & Falco vs Wolf, Samus vs Ridley and Dark Samus, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong vs King K. Rool which are all excellent to have in the game, and also Sora & Cloud vs Sephiroth and Street Fighter vs Fatal Fury vs Tekken like you mentioned which are equally excellent to have, the only characters left that would’ve made it feel complete for me was if we got Dr. Eggman and Shadow in the game, that way we could’ve gotten Sonic vs Dr. Eggman and Shadow.
I love both Sephiroth and Sora trailers, but the Sephiroth one has almost made my heart stopped beating. Like, really, I literally saw someone's vid do a melee/smash mod of Sephiroth just months before the reveal.
That's all I wanted, and my most favorite 😆
My favourite DLC character in each pass has got to be Hero and Pyra/Mythra. Hero is a lot of fun to play as with the spells being the biggest aspect of him, and the Xenoblade girls were my most wanted character since the first reveal of Smash in March. So I was extremely happy to see them in.
Also, Mythra is pronounced as Myth-Ruh. Not Meeth-Ruh
The Hero had the best trailer, hands down. Not even a contest.
@@pcachu I like all the memes that Steve and min-min trailers made.
@@pcachu Sephiroth. He impaled Mario
Ok we got the weeb here who has a figurine in a mason jar. They are op as hell and just annoying to play against. Also, no one asked how it was pronounced.
@@brendanmcintyre1220 💀
I can’t be the only one who thought that Waluigi would have been the best final DLC character. It would have been perfect for the reveal trailer comment thing be “WALUIGI finally makes it in!” And seeing him in that scene tearing up, it would have brought a tear to my eye. I absolutely wish that the final character was Waluigi (Sora could still be in, just maybe get rid of a different DLC character that isn’t good)
If I had to rank the DLC characters SPECIFICALLY BASED ON HOW THEY PLAY AND NOTHING ELSE, here’s how they’d go:
12. Steve
11. Kazuya
10. Piranha Plant
9. Hero
8. Min Min
7. Terry
6. Byleth
5. Banjo-Kazooie
4. Pyra and Mythra
3. Sora
2. Joker
1. Sephiroth
Btw if this were combined with all the other elements, Sephiroth still would’ve been number one.
Edit: Holy shit, we have the exact same top three.
You do realize that there's other reasons to dislike Smash characters that just gameplay right?
No joke, the Joker reveal out of nowhere almost made me fuckin' cry. I popped off my chair so hard that night I'm surprised I didn't wake anyone in my house up.
Sora was the final flame of the game to give a final goodbye
At first I was like "Who the hell is Byleth and why are you putting yet another Fire Emblem in Smash?"
Then I played 3 Houses and it made perfect sense.
Except Byleth could have been so much more unique in actual gameplay and it just seems like there was a low amount of effort put into her compared to the DLC fighters.
@@aronspiker72 Byleth reminds me of Ivy from Soul Caliber and Monster Hunter.
You lost me when you put my main at the bottom of the list. Hitting 3 crits and whack in a local competitive tournament is what gives me the most joy in this game.
Hero truly is the cultured man's main, seeing a person lose their composure due to a whack/thwack/crit/mburst is one of the most sublime feelings that can be experienced
Sephiroth is the boss character that isn't nerfed in gameplay but BUFFED
Like Vergil (here's hoping the next smash game has DMC characters)
At the first frame of the BK reveal trailer I knew what was up. I was flipping out.
The same for the Belmonts' trailer.
Persona rep Joker is my fav of the dlc.
Top 5 games with good voice acting
Regardless of personal opinion regarding the characters, everyone got a piece of the cake.
Japan gets Hero
N64 Boomers get Banjo
LATAM FGC gets Terry
Asian/American FGC gets Kazuya
Zoomers get Steve
Waifu Weebs get Pyra/Mythra and Byleth
JRPG Weebs get Sephiroth and Joker
Hell even the 5 people who play ARMS get a character
It hurts me so much that Min Min went above Banjo.
Terry has become my main, I think I’ve gotten about 250+ spirits with him since release, he’s such a good character
Same here!
Byleth low key really fun to play tho
"Daddy Microsoft said I could play with Nintendo again."
-Banjo-Kazooi, 2019
Your top few picks make up for the fact that you put Byleth so low. Three Houses is still sitting comfortably in my backlog, but Byleth is my favorite Fire Emblem character to play as (Robin is second and Corrin is third) and one of my favorite characters to play as overall. Joker, Sora, and Pyra/Mythra are also in my regular rotation, so overall I am very satisfied with the two Fighters Passes.
I remember the double whammy I had when Steve was announced because I didn't want him, and then Travis Touchdown was announced as a Mii costume because he was my most wanted.
My list, note that this is the best imo, not by my favorite:
1. Sephiroth
2. Pyra/Mythra
3. Terry
4. Kazuya
5. Sora
6. Joker
7. Min min
8. Byleth
9. Hero
10. Banjo and Kazooie
11. Steve
12. Piranha Plant
Piranha Plant is such a fun character to play as tho tbh
For me it was banjo I know people really tend to hate his Campy and slowish moveset but I don’t care he’s really fun in my eyes.
Hes a platformer character what did you expect.
@@orangeslash1667 umm, not a campy moveset. Mario is an all arounder with a lean towards offense, Mega Man and Belmonts are Zoners with specific mobility niches, Kirby is a well rounded beginner character, DK is a heavyweight grappler, Sonic is a mistake in terms of moveset, yoshi is a floaty brawler, there really isn't a standard moveset for platforming characters or even any "genre" of characters.
I'm honestly happy that Pyra/Mythra made the top half. Xenoblade 2 was pretty loved by a lot of people but at the end of the day it still feels like a niche series so I'm still really glad that people understand the love for the character and that they came out so well in terms of gameplay.
The swapping is *so good* in a fight!
Pyra ended up becoming my worst nightmare. Mythra is like a buffed Sheik and I like fighting against her, but Pyra is like a buffed Ganondorf: 3 to 5 hits and you're out, and you die at such a low percentage. Ridiculous damage and knockback. The only character I really wished they nerved over the months.
Steve will always be my personal favorite because of how important both Minecraft and smash have been in my life and how mild blowing it was to see them together. I also actually love the way he plays and how different he feels to other fighters.
I will say that sephiroth, while not a character I care much about, did have a really incredible trailer and is definitely a cool addition
8:39 Two years later: Steve is the number one character on every one tier list.
It's wild that my four favorite DLC fighters were the top four of this list
I was at high-school, moving between my 2nd and 3rd period when I pulled out my phone and learned Steve was in the game. I had to convince my friends who were also switching blocks that I wasn't kidding, because none of them believed me. So, yeah, I do remember the Steve debut trailer.
am i the only one that really wants a TF2
character in smash like heavy and / or scout.
Banjo and Kazooie are a bit vanilla, but I like it that way tbh.
Hero below byleth
Joker below min min
Wtf?
It would be great if they added more Fatal Fury / King of Fighters Characters. Like Iori might be really cool. Kyo, K dash. Whatever!
Never really new what Sora was until smash bros lol
I wish that Pyra/Mythra, Sephiroth, and Byleth were already in the base game so different games could be represented. I wish The Knight from Hollow Knight, Doomguy, and Cuphead/Mugman we’re in instead. I personally dislike that Sakuri didn’t use as much representation as it could have.
I agree with everything except Min Min’s placement, I would have put her between Hero & Byleth
Joker got people hyped for the rest of the characters.
Sora made people cry with how perfect of a capstone he and his reveal were.
Sephiroth made the entire internet lose their goddamn minds with just the first few notes of his signature theme.
I was watching the Game Award with my younger brother when the reveal for Sephi dropped, and you know a reveal is POWERFUL when even a guy that hates RPGs and actively hates Sephiroth (my brother) was still excited as fuck by it.
Hero is extremely fun to use
Personally, Sephiroth might be towards the bottom of my list. Maybe because i never played FFVII, but i do kind of think its lame we got two FFVII reps. Lightning, Terra or Tidus would have been so cool :c
@@BJGvideos terra would have been so good!!
although it would've been nice to have rep from other games, sephiroth was the right choice imo. he's easily one of the most recognizable villians in gaming. even those who weren't too familiar w/ ff knew it was him when they heard one winged angel. nearly everyone was hyped for him. easily one of the best characters to put in the game, especially since this is (most likely) the last smash bros.
As long as Plant isn't at the bottom I'm fine with this list
Edit: :D
My favorite dlc characters gotta be Steve and piranha plant
Rabbidluigi shouting “And a *GUN?!* “ is what I needed today.
Joker in smash is still unbelievable.
So I'm obviously in the minority here but I've never really been impressed with Seperoth as a character. I not only don't think he's the best villain in gaming, I don't think he's the best villain in FF7.
That said he absolutely belongs in Smash and anyone who complains about any aspect of this mind-boggling roster is literally insane.
@@BJGvideos I mean, Hojo is good but it's not about impact on the plot, it's about being interesting. Seperoth has a couple things going for him (stellar design, huge shock value moment) but those aside I find him pretty bland and overly convoluted (pretty sure you don't actually meet the real Seperoth until the final battle? It's been a while admittedly). Whereas you can take anyone from Shinra or the Turks and you have much more dynamic personalities and clearer motivations.
For me, Pyra/Mythra and Min Min are my favorite DLC's. Min Min is my favorite character from Arms and I was hoping for another representative from Xenoblade, and I was especially hoping it would be Pyra especially, and I will always welcome more women in the game.
As someone that bought not only smash bros but also probably my fav game of all time FF7 when Sephiroth was announced, it makes me happy seeing him get more love than I thought he would when he was first announced. At the end of the day Smash is a fighting game that is essentially an advert for other franchise, but dammit is a good one
2:56 Funny that you bring up Link here with that version of Hero since he was voiced by Link's Ocarina Of Time voice actor.
If Corrin never happened then Byleth wouldn’t have been hated.
Geese Howard would’ve been a better pick as opposed to Terry. Characters they should’ve put in as DLC which would’ve been more fitting for the game, and would’ve made some serious bank during and after its lifecycle, would be Leon S. Kennedy, DoomSlayer, Scorpion, and Kratos. All from the most influential and impactful IPs the gaming industry has ever seen and as I said, would’ve made a lot more money for Nintendo and all those involved.
"As if ANYONE was supposed to see that coming!"
Nice "Last Surprise" reference, lol
Even though Min Min is pretty much a cheating code to most people, I still think ARMS deserves a little bit more attention.
I mean, really, I was excited to see that my favorite Nintendo character just got introduced into Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Literally! When Nintendo Direct announced she was a new character, I couldn't believe that ARMS finally got some attention for ONCE! But, of course, I didn't know exactly if anyone really knew who she was.
I decided: Why not ask about it?
I have 13 friends who are big fans of Nintendo. Only two of them don't have Smash.
I asked everyone in that bunch, and I mean EVERYONE, if they knew who Min Min was. (I asked them all seperately.)
Only THREE of those friends actually knew that ARMS *EXSISTED!* And note that these people are big fans of Nintendo. They play on their Switch, Wii U, or 3DS atleast once a week and talk to eachother about DLC's, new courses in Mario Kart 8, if there will ever be a Mario Kart 9, Splatoon, Zelda...
I know that this isn't everyone in the world, but still.
The fact that my friends know, talk, and love so much about Nintendo, but only 3 of them actually knew what ARMS really is kind of makes me wonder whether many people actually play the game anymore.
ARMS will never be as popular as Splatoon. I don't know if ARMS will ever be getting a sequel, but I know it won't be too soon.
Look, the point is, I feel that maybe Min Min deserves to be powerful. Mainly because ARMS hasn't exactly gotten any attention from Nintendo for... a LONG time. I think maybe Nintendo did that on purpose? I don't exactly know yet, but I know that Min Min is a great character who definitely needs some more attention. Anyways, thanks for listening to my Ted Talk about ARMS, and I hope I didn't waste your time reading this! Have a nice day, people!
Sora is like the anti Byleth
While Byleth was seen as the worst way to end FP1, Sora was seen as the best way to end FP2
Im the opposite lmao
Steve is playing Minecraft, in smash.
Will, kind of a question unrelated to the topic, but would you mind explaining what happened to rabbid2igi? Because I loved your let’s plays. I subscribed to you for them.
Opinion: Keyblade is only a name. It's a wand/scepter/magical-blugeon
Byleth might be the most hated, but my GOD HES SO FUN TO PLAY
I think I really loved Pyra/Mythra (would say their true name but it’s a massive spoiler so don’t ask.) and Kazuya. BTW Pyra’s face on the thumbnail is priceless.
Sakurai himself spoiled the true name in the presentation and the spirit list.
I wonder if he wakes up sometimes and goes "Oh boy, I feel like spoiling Xenoblade today!"
You know the meatopia me Creator I wish that was in Smash Bros then we could have any character we wanted
It’s not a sword. It’s not an axe. It’s closer to a lead pipe but still not. It’s just a key.
Obviously we have VERY different tastes in Smash characters.
I haven’t played anyone but Piranha Plant, but to me the best reveals were Banjo, Steve, and Sora. I get that Sephiroth was a very exciting addition, but I never actually played FF7 since I hate JRPGs. I’m hoping to get Intergrade for Christmas, so maybe I’ll come round on him.
Terry's my favorite by far.
"Meethra"
Honestly, the fighting game characters, Terry and Kazuya, are my favorites from the DLC because of their playstyle. I also am one of the only characters that actually likes Byleth and Pythra.
I also like Terry Kazuya and Byleth
you are one of the only characters?
