Babies Sylvester, Rieke and Bulu Mata are so sweet. Their big beautiful eyes get you drawn in with those long eyelashes. They have a lot more light orange hair on them than other Orangutans . They are more friendly froward other. Sylvester always reached his hands to others all the time from a little baby making friends.
Hulu thinks shes so cute it made his hair stand up on his head...lol. precious!!

What's really cool is going on to the website and seeing how all of these primates have grown. It's really quite astounding.
Those babies just make me giggle. I'd sure love to snuggle them myself. These people taking on this responsibility are amazing and so good at what they do.

Rieke is the most adorable orangutan baby, I watched her daily videos when she was in Berlin and I remember when she was sent to Monkey World. I'm so excited to see how she and Bulu Matta get along!😁😍😍

Baby orang are so cute. They always look like they are having a bad hair day. Jeremy and John are fun to watch and listen to the banter. I enjoy the ugly monkeys and the flirting capuchin.

These are the sweetest babies ever! I love Orangs after watching a show on them. They don't throw those nasty tantrums and are just adorable. Best of all they are happy even though they have quite a few bad hair days. I love these babies and they make me ☺.
Rieke and Bulu are going to grow up as best friends and when they become adults they are going to become a couple and have lots of babies together lol.
Im absolutely gutted that Dr John Lewis has passed away. Monkey world must miss him so much. RIP Dr Lewis.😢

@@ronniebuchanan6575 the only thing I've read was he passed in November 2020 after a short illness. I believe it was November. That's the only info I've seen.
@@ritamccomas9271a short illness usually means cancer, from certain situations I’ve seen but I could be totally wrong about this one. Either way I am sure it has been a great loss for many

One of the most surprising things I’ve learned since watching this show is the way the male adult chimps step up to take care of any individual who needs a little extra attention. Especially when cherry had her twins. Those guys were almost too attentive🤭but it was lovely nonetheless. With most primates of any species males tend to steer clear when it comes to babies but not these guys and it’s fascinating to see. I love them!

Probably because usually in any media depiction of humans together with a chimpanzee, it's always either a baby, child, or adolescent, but certainly never a fully grown adult male, as the potential danger is far too great. They definitely do get big. Not as tall as humans, but very stocky, very big arms, and huge jaws.

I Am so in love with Bulu Mala , Riele and Thelma. Thelma has given new life to her group. Everyone Love Thelma. She so kind and playful with everyone. I never see Thelma with her Dad. Like in Patti Group the babies go to mom, and dad for help, food, rides.

Several of these animals were captured by poachers and black market sellers. Hence, the correct term "wild caught." Captive born means born in captivity...

BEWARE OF PLANTED PEOPLE BY THE VO'S TO MAKE YOU THINK THAT LUNA HASN'T LOST HER PLACENTA AND MAY NEED MEDICAL HELP. THIS IS A COMMON TACTIC USED BY VO'S TO ENCOURAGE DONATIONS.
EXAMPLE
"I am afraid Luna hasn't lost her placenta and may need medical help"
Or
"Luna hasn't lost her placenta, help her please"
They did this recently with Katrina also and as you can see Katrina is fine. But, as Luna is more easily controlled they may be able to make it seem like she hasn't.

Those babies could’ve gone to jungle school and graduated to live in their natural habitat again as orangutans should. Why are earth were they taken away to stay here when there’s a much better option? I think this place is great but I thought it was a sanctuary for those who can’t be reintroduced to the wild.

Bulu and Rieke have to be the two cutest, most beautiful babies I've seen! They just melt my heart! I don't think they made much of an effort to get Rieke with Choiqui though. I mean, they could have at least let her touch the baby. After all the hours of discussion and contemplation, I the end, they come out with a ridiculous explanation of "The keepers think she'll be too "busy" with her sons to look after Rieke>> Come on! We're not stupid! We know it's because she's so irresistibly cute, they want to be able to hand raise her. Ha ha ha ha I don't blame them! I'd give anything to be able to look after her or Bulu any time! Just so precious those two little ones!
