As a teenager I was a workaholic and always studying. We also didn't have all the multi media we have today. I loved these animals but never once thought of a career doing what this staff is doing. How cool is it that they get to work there and contribute so much, not just to the welfare of these animals but to the conservation of animals so close to being extinct. I'm guessing the sanctuary probably has a lot of volunteers too! If only I was young again or had my health and had the adventurous nature of moving to a country half way around the world to help out. I've come to really love all of them, every life is precious, God love the people who take such great care of them. I think Jim would be proud of the work his wife and friends continue to do every day. The tribute at the end of each episodes, indicates not only how trivial he was in starting all of this with his wife and friends but also how important he was to all of them. I live in Canada and have kids who have travelled to so many countries in their lives, I have one that lives 3 provinces away (which feels like he's in a different country, it's so far away) and one who just moved to Australia. I'm so thankful my daughter is still so close but any opportunity she got to travel i thought it was a bonus for her. I wouldn't want to stand in her way of living anywhere she wants, as long as she's happy. However, I must admit, my kids are my water, couldn't live without them in our lives, even if it's just to be there if they ever want to call or come home to chat. So I often wonder, how hard it must be on the mom's of these different species of monkeys, when the kids they raised leave, without understanding why they left and where they went. Silly I know but congratulations to the staff who try to make the moves as easy as possible with the crate training.
I can’t stop watching Monkey World. I am Learning how much I enjoy watching All the primates, but I’m in Love with the orangutan babies ,but (I Love all the babies ) Too funny with Bulu and Riele are so busy and Happy. Love those, Big wild Orange hairdo . They Needing nappy change often like human babies. They are so cute together thank God that they bonded together..
Bulu is just so darn adorable! I love his lil smile and those big beautiful eyes!! He fits his name that's for sure. And baby Rika is just the cutest, if I was way younger I'd apply for a job just cuddling those two all day!😅🥰🥰🥰💜🐒♾️
My heart physically hurts for Phil to the point, that I get teary-eyed for him...I'm a Senior citizen with many years of compromised vision & many related difficulties...Like, about a year ago I went for a walk around my very large (18 bldg.) rental complex, & I became hopelessly lost as it gradually became pitch dark...I couldn't see well enough to read the bldg numbers anymore or use my phone, & by then it was getting late, & I became *frantic* ...Thankfully, I finally came across 2 young women out walking their dog, & they were so very, very kind & *graciously* walked me home...(I was way off course...) However, sometimes my errors have been a little comical...Like walking up to a random car, opening the front passenger door & hopping inside, only to discover it was NOT my son or sister, etc., there to pick me up...Wrong car...HaHaHah
As physical infirmities increase, it is wonderful that you maintain a positive attitude. I entertained several customers at Sam's Club when I tried out a bean bag chair that was on sale. Turns out it was for toddlers making it very low to the floor. I ended up rolling out of it, then rolling on the floor over to the shelves. I used my arms to "climb the shelves" until I could get to my knees and then pushed up onto one knee with my other leg's foot flat on the floor. Somehow, I ended up able to get the other foot flat on the floor and then I could get to a standing position. Yes, kind-hearted customers did try to help but I was worried they might fall down on the floor or on me because I was essentially "dead weight". Please do take care on getting into the wrong car.
Ok we are getting so off topic compared to the video but had to join in. I'm physically disabled, like totally and completely. I was visiting my son and against his wish, I told him I was quite content to sleep on the couch. I was only 50 at the time but handicap none the less. Anyway, he was off to University when I decided to try and make the couch, that was folded out as a bed, more comfortable. So i put these comforters down and then put the fitted sheet back on, took me forever in my condition. Anyway, I then decide to test try the couch to see if it was more comfortable. I was kinda rolling from side to side from the middle of the couch, when the couch flipped and closed back to a sitting position. The only problem was that I was wedged between the wall and the couch. Basically I was on the floor, the wall on one side, the couch folded on the other side and over top of me. I couldn't get out because of the arm rests but mainly because i was laughing so hard. I was like, if my son walks in the door right now, he's gonna freak out and say "you just can't make this shit up". I eventually made it out but took a picture of it to show him the show he missed. lol
I'm happy they get to live out a beautiful life even if it's not the wild it's almost the wild they have food and love they all needed and never knew they needed it.
Man I would love to have these guys job of takin care of all the primates, their so lucky. I can only imagine what it would be like to take care of the baby orangs ❤️❤️❤️❤️ from Indiana USA
I’d give much to look after those sweet baby orangutans for a few weeks. I know I don’t have the stamina to do it full time like the brilliant staff who work at Monkey World. Such love and dedication. ❤️
Riele, Sylvester and Bulu Mata has lighter orange color hair and lot more hair than the other orangutan babies. They are also more friendly than other orangutans. I Love How Sylvester ALWAYS reach his hand of friendships to all others (orangutans babies or adults) even Osteen. What are the differences in The orangutans in color etc. ❤ I Love these babies and all the Primates here at Monkey World.

They great each other using sex no matter if a baby, same gender, or group were meeting. I’m only guessing to this one.
