As much as everyone was critical of Brenda for how Oshine was spoiled and overweight, she obviously did a lot of things right. The young Orangutan is kind and without serious attitude problems. She understands very well that treating others around her properly is important.
I love Oshine.. she is very special.
O'Shein was raised more like a human child so she's used to kindness and hugs and signs of affection. I think her owner did great in showing her affection so she learned affection for babies.
And that's why she's walking more like a human?
This has to be my favorite show so far in this season! Sam is getting a new partner, and btw, she is beautiful! And O'Sheen! She is falling head over heels in love with baby Sly, got that maternal instinct! I swear, O'Sheen looks like she's smiling when she's looking at her new baby, she's gonna be a great loving foster mama!💞💖💞
Your absolutely right. O'Sheen had it in her all the time. She is probably my favorite. I wish they would let her paint or something.
And I think she’ll probably raise him like a monkeys life as well as a ring those human skills in the mix. Gonna be amazing regardless.

I feel sad that she was taken from her own family that she had but I sure do know she was able to adjust without any problems 😔
I am so glad Oshine and the baby are getting along, it will really help her when she becomes a mommy herself. So glad Sams lady has arrived! I sure hope they get along so he isn't so lonely anymore. I am really surprised they don't have video cameras in every area to see what all the monkeys and apes are up to.

Oshine is the most beautiful and cute orangutan from the rest I’ve ever seen. It must have been tough for her previous owner to let her go i couldn’t do it. I know they are better of in the wild but oshine would be perfect to comfort and give therapy to a human who is going through a harsh life.
I can’t stop watching this. I’ll be glad when more videos are released.
I was excited for Sam to get a new friend, but I really don't like the idea they took Sasac (sp) from her family n friends. It wasn't fair to her nor the ones she left behind. I love oshine, my favorite orangutan ever. She is a very sweet orangutan. I bet she really misses her home with her human mom. She was treated very good from her human mother. She was her princess. It was probably very traumatizing getting taken out of the care of her, she lived in a huge home and had everything she needed and she interacted with humans very well. I think she probably understood them when they spoke, because she was around humans that much

I wish I could have read Jeremy's mind when he was listening to the vet talking about the extra stitches. His face was priceless. I was hoping after seeing Oshean let the baby share her food and suckle her lip after her check up last time, that she'd be sweet to hi.

I'm so happy to see that Sam has someone to spend time with again!!! Its also great that Oshine is feeling better after getting the birth control implant!!! I'm sure that it is wonderful not being crampy, and cranky every month, and now she can concentrate on the fun things like having a little fun guy around to play with and care for♥️♥️♥️!!!

I didn't realize just how much of an extra limb wooly monkeys have till that closeup of the tail in this video. I always assumed they were just good at grabbing things with their furry tail but that close up shot showed they basically have skin on their tail much like the palm of their hands that gives it a good grip. The way it has creases just like a hand makes me think they likely also all probably have a unique tail print just like fingerprints.

Is Oshine's posture going to affect her health? It looks like it would strain her back and hips.
I've wondered the same thing.
As the massive amount of weight she has continues to fall off, that posture will get better… she will be fine now that she is no longer being fed improper foods … her human mother may have loved her, but she is solely responsible for Oshine's condition… she almost loved that beautiful orang to her death!
About Oshine, she had a goood human 'mother' and so that is what she displays to Sylvestre. But she has come a long way in being restored to her Origins as an Orang Utan.

Still so bothered that they took the female Gibbon away from her babies and her family in Dublin and bring her over for Sam I mean Samuel needs a partner but they would have been better off bringing him a younger mate or made this just not having to leave a family that's just dumb they could have waited a few more months and found one that they didn't have to do such a messed up thing with.
Oshean will tell the others about a time when she had her own palace and human slave ..ofcourse they wont believe she was a Queen in a far off land

That's a horrible, deep wound and it goes to show how dangerous and sharp those nasty looking long teeth are. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a nasty scuffle and have my cheek tore open like the wound stitched closed.
Ok when or if Osheen eat more than suppose to what do you do about that do you give more so others can have their fair share or are they SOL. Osheen need to be fead by herself that way she will get correct amount and loose more weight we all know she not going to run around or exercise to get the weight off.
You do realize that these episodes are almost 10 years old… right? This is season 6… they are filming season 15 at the moment… Oshine's weight has dropped significantly… you can see her on the monkey world website…
