Question: I'm trying out the free version of picmonic but I don't really understand how to use it in a way that is most beneficial to study for the NBCOT.. any suggestions?
Hey Julie!! I used it for the topics that I had trouble memorizing. Vision, scales (like the Glasgow Coma Scale and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs), sizing canes and walkers, and specific diagnosis or issues that I was interested in. Some topics - like diabetes - I wanted more in depth info just so I would be able to be more confident in the answer I chose on the test. Hope this helps!! Let me know if you have any more questions!
