I saw this when it originally aired I was struck by how much affection you could see George Michael had for Lane Frost. It's really sad that he died so young but a very nice tribute to a fallen friend.
Rest in Peace, Lane. You are a man I will always look up to. Words can't describe how incredible his personality was. He would always stay later than everyone else signing each and every autograph. He really enjoyed his profession, and loved meeting his supporters and fans. Hope to meet you some day in the afterlife brother.
its from the George Michael Sports Machine show from the 1980s to the later 2000s. you can sure tell that George Michael really cared for these guys. he was the only one doing rodeo highlights for a long time.
It’s amazing how many people are arguing when, where and what killed Lane. The important thing is we were all saddened by his passing. What we should be doing is taking a few minutes each day to be thankful we are alive.God bless Lane and his family.
@@ronniebishop2496 its a hard deal. The first serious injury I saw was also a bronc rider. Dude started foaming at the mouth and having a seizure after being lawn darted. It's scary, but, it is part of it.
Don Gay 8 x world champion Tuff Hedeman 3x world champion etc, you saying greatest of all time is a bold statement. Let me guess early 30s late 20s you must of watched 8 seconds and listen to Aaron Watson that July song. That would explain what you said
One of the best to ever do it. RIP Lane, you was a hell of a bullrider. My hat goes off to all the riders, don't matter what country or ethnicity you are from, you guys are my heros. Real men, tough men, men that conquer beast. I salute you guys with the highest of honor. SALUTE.
Sem duvida.acho q na época dele não c dava muita atenção na maneira de sair do touro vi varias montarias em q ele quase foi pego uma pena grande talento .
My son rode and it scared us to death. He had some injuries, but when he married and had three girls he wanted to figure out how to name one after Lane. Well he was blessed with one more child and it was his boy. Bet you can’t guess what his name is.
That’s all we grew up watching at rodeos, I named my son after him, he had a name that everyone knows but does not have!! Awful what happened would of never thought! But still love to watch him thru videos!! The lord needed him more than anybody! Cause he was a guardian angel that’s time was up here to go back home, I know Jesus and I know I’ll see everybody I know and Lane Frost as well!
To clear stuff up he died in the arena at 3:59 from the bull breaking his ribs and pearcing his heart not the bulls fault not lanes fault just happened miss him terribly someone in my family knows tuff personally he died in the arena and they took him to the hospital to pronounce him dead he was a great bull rider and a legend he is truly missed
When he fell that’s what killed him. His ribs were broken and one pierced his heart when he fell. Had he stayed down would he have lived? No one knows. It’s possible, or it’s possible God was ready to call him up to his kingdom and nothing could stop that.
@@Youre_Right our death is mapped out before our birth. The Lord told us, "I knew you before you were". It is what we do with that short period of time that is important!
HE would have RODE THEM for a 100 Point ride each... They where the best bulls and MY FRIEND WAS IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE BEST EVER BULL RIDER...I miss LANE
Bodacious was a dirty bull and people got by him on luck. Bushwacker? Well, Lane wouldve been what? Like 40 when he came on the scene....So, probably not great.
My youngest Grandson has LANE in his name because he was a friend of mine. My youngest son rode in the same JR. Circuit with keyshawn Whitehorse made TEXAS state finals 3 times and the WORLD FINALS 2 time's... Mike White and Chirs Shiver told him after the second world final if he would stay in bullring they could see him being a world champion in the P.B.R. someday... but because he is left handed an could throw a baseball like he can playing ball would make him A LOT of money faster and easier than riding....I miss LANE I'm 55 these days and don't get around very easy but that's life... I would like to THANK BIG TEX TRAILERS and PRIEFIET here in MT. PLEASANT TEXAS FOR THEIR SPONESER SHIP... They made it possible for my son to go.. maybe someday my Grandson will get started mutton busted that is the most FUN to watch 😅
The most tragic part was if Lane wouldnt have fell forward they say he would have survivrd with just broken ribs an punctured lung but when he fell forward those broken ribs pierced his heart. Anyone whos ever cleaned an animal knows a broken bone can be piercing like a knife razor sharp. When he fell his body weight onto his chest he was dead. Just sad to know he would have survived it but that kid was tough so if he could get to his feet he will. He stood up if say got real dizzy an fell. Rip Lane you were the best no question!
where did you find this video i have bought every video on lane frost i could find and i have not got this one yet where they interviewed tuff please let me know thank you very much
Really one of the best bull riders ever to be sure. Also less known but a great bull riders Guy Paul. Gary Leffew dedicated his world championship year to his best mate Guy Paul. Much like Tuff did for Lane. Both Guy and Lane lost way to young.
Kelly he didn't die at the hospital. i would know my doctor was the one that treated him . the doctor said that he was a dead man walking which means he was all ready dead before they could get to lane. he died at the area that he rode the bull in.
what it did was it was broke his ribs and pushed a rib into one of his main heart vessels and cut off a huge supply of blood to the heart so he was able to get up in time to call for help if it would of went directly to his heart he wouldn't of stood up at all
I'm a Texan yes I game yes I do ride bulls yes I'm a junior rodeo bull rider and I broke my left wrist yesterday on a bull so me being me I look up videos and comments he died in the arena and was rushed to the hospital to revive him he didn't mack it my dad road with lane and talked to him if you get lucky he might be on RUclips his name is Andy Pryor
Lane frost did past away that day of his last ride at 3:30 the gate open and at 3:54 he pass away at the hospital not what Paul said cause I was there that day and remember after my family left they announce it on the radio that he pass away. Rip lane

Lane was the best. We will never forget.
Lane was a kind, but awesome cowboy/human being. World is poorer without him!
Tuff Hedeman is the best PBR competitor of all time. who else has ridden a rank bull for 16 seconds because he said he would?
And he did it for Lane. Tuff is a true champion. No doubt. he did 8 and 8 more for his buddy. Very cool!
Tuff riding for lane now
"Let's Go Boys" RIP to the best bull rider ever.
