Remember how I mentioned there wasnt very many ecodisc elevators in my area well I did find two very nice ones one was in a bank of two elevators in a medical center thats actually really close to where I live and one is in a small clinic building and has the same kone kss 370 buttons as your video but the only differance was it didnt have a center opening door it was a small single sliding door elevator

What is the whining noise that I hear in the background from within the shaft?? Seems like a common occurrence in many MRL elevators, but I cannot pinpoint the source of it.

The motor.

@@DieselDucy no I'm talking about the other high pitched noise that occurs even when the elevator isn't moving. It sounds like a fan.

@@praneeth_wtby what you hear its probably the variable-frequency drive from the Motor. Before the elevator starts moving the motor is energized to produce just enough torque to allow the brakes to open without the elevator moving. This is done to give you a soft/smooth start :)
