Ordered a 22 plate Ioniq 5 premium long range. One thing to note is if you buy approved used from Hyundai as long as its a 71 plate onwards they will give you a 5 year warranty like new. The battery warranty doesn't reset though so still counts down from 8 years from day o registration. Pretty big win to swing me towards it!

I have a AWD variant with 36k km on the clock and can totally share your verdict. The car feels like new after 2 years and hasn't lost any appeal that led me to buy it. I think people will be very happy with their used electric cars ones they can overcome the prejudice.

Love my 72 plate. Best bang for buck out there in the EV world.

I could very easily have bought a 2021 Ioniq 5 recently, it was between this and an ID4. On car alone I marginally preferred the I5 but VW swung it by offering some great finance deals which made thr ID4 a lot cheaper on PCP - this was a bonus because I don’t need to worry about depreciation.

Great car and a fantastic buy as a nearly new used example. Just a little too big for me. I just wish Hyundai had put the blueprints through the copier at 90% and introduced a little brother.

Well any car that goes from £65K to £21k in two years is not a fantastic buy really.

@@davidlewis4399 do you understand leasing? And the secondhand market? And how is it NOT a fantastic buy for the secondhand buyer? That’s a weird statement

Hello from Denmark. Im considering to buy a Mg4 like yours. But I can not find any reviews of the assist systems, after the latest software updates..... Does yours have the absolute latest software versions ? And if so, do you think it has improved the systems, especially the Lane Keeping Assist wich some find dangerous.. ?
Maybe you could make a video where you test the systems in different situations ?

I love this car! What state is the battery in, have you had it tested for degradation. Currently have an id3 of about the same age, double the mileage and the range doesn’t seem to have dropped at all. Looking at either getting a new kona or a 2nd hand Ioniq 5.

about 60K new and a 22 plate about £21K that is insane depreciation then factor in tyre replacements at £150 plus a go and thats a no from me sorry.
