- Welcome back for another episode of Pickleton! Moving right along here in our Cities Skylines 2 Beginner Let's Play series and finally starting to actually FILL our downtown. We're going to take it slow, as we have with the rest of the city, building up a few central areas at a time, and today our focus is on adding some police coverage via the police headquarters! As always, enjoy!

This series and city is coming along nicely 🎉
Thank you!
Another absolutely amazing video! Thank you again for your time and hard work! Cant wait to see the city grow! 😊
Thank you! I’m so pleased to hear you’re enjoying it!
Downtown is starting to look awesome! Had no idea the parking lots could connect like that.
A blessing and a curse haha
Really nice detailing. Love the music too. Keep up the great work. I think you should leave the castle ruins IMO. 😎👍
Thank you! Glad you like it! I think the castle ruins are fun too 😁
Coming together nicely 👌 definitely keep the old castle ruins. It'll give the city some history and a story 😁
I think so too! Gives it some flavor lol
The Tower of London doesn't look out of place. Your castle can also defend the nearby Dill River (or whatever it's called).
...or maybe Riverdill, as a play on Rivendell (if you liked The Lord of the Rings).
Oooh I love that! Riverdill 😁
Great episode! 💜
Thank you! Happy to hear you enjoyed it :)
I like the downtown area, but I think the castle ruins should be moved (maybe to the fancy homes on the hill in the EU side of town, but definitely save it!!) and place the Grand Hotel in the ovalabout and call it simply "The Pickle".
Oooh; see I like that idea a lot. When testing, I had played around a bit with the hotel being in the ovalabout and I’m p sure it fit haha so I think that might be an excellent solution. I want to redo the European side and make it higher density so maybe I’ll move it to that side!
I think you should name one of your resident districts "Vinegary Vista". Perhaps downtown can be "Gherkin Grove"?
Just random ideas.
Oooh yes! I love both of these!
I say you remove castle, but also don't. Replace it with the castle tourist attraction as though the city restored it.
If that fit there without me totally having to redo that area I would haha. It’s very very big and those quays are a pain 😂
In this case Pickle, I must disagree. The game moves to quickly for slow building.
That’s fair honestly. It does certainly encourage endless quick expansion for sure.
FIRST!
🎉🎉😂
@@brinedpickle will you ever plan to do like, a how to guide, I find where I most get stuck is when and where to build medium density and then when, where to build freeways
I have some plans for some more tutorial type things and can certainly add those topics to the list :)
