This sounds like the problem I'm having with my Chevy Trax 2017 I've been to my Chevy dealer and Goodyear spent 750.00 so I will check this out thank you.
@@alfredobizardi5491did you ever find out the problem my 2013 Chevy Cruz runs good but when I accelerate it has no power and I think it might be this hose because it very squishy
When you eventually have to replace the valve cover and intake manifold make sure to not buy the OEM intake. Get the Dorman intake manifold. The check valve issue( which is usually the original problem ) has been fixed.
Thanks for this video. I really needed this. I am driving my mother-in-law 's. Chevy Cruze. Same hesitation. No engine light. The hesitation is very noticeable between 35 to 50 mph. The hose is very soft and I am going to be replacing it thanks to your video. This was really stomping me. I was checking everything. I ordered the hose from RockAuto. Should be installing it soon... Did you remove your bumper or did you do it from the top by feeling for the bottom clip? Thanks again!
Bro I just said the same shit twice oxygen sensors or a mass airflow sensor o2 sensor anything to do w air pcv and purge are the same thing brother look it up I’ve done all of it too
Hello my friend. I have a 2912 Chevy Cruze. When I start the car and hit the gas pedal, it doesn't want to accelerate. Was that the same problem you had? Please respond. I am desperate
@GadGetHackss by the way turbo lag is not normal if you are experiencing turbo lag then you have a problem else where. Or just get a new turbo but turbo lag is not normal.
@@louski7927 Of course it shouldn't be very noticeable in newer cars like the Cruze but what the guy is describing sounds like normal turbo lag which ALL turbocharged cars have, less noticeable in newer cars because of the improved designs.
I got the oem part from the dealer only because my local part store didn't have it available. But you can get it at any part store but they might have to order it.
So obviously nothing was wrong with the pvc valves...the point is everything professional mechanics said was wrong wasn't the problem...im no mechanic but I figured out my problem. Your welcome
I had that same message popping up randomly. As crazy as it sounds it was the intake manifold, there's a valve that goes bad inside the manifold which also causes to damage another valve located on the engine valve cover itself.
Hey bro - did when you say hesitation - did you mean jerking back and forth ? Because that’s the problem I am having but only when I’m at a red stop light. The car turns off after the jerking
That's the problem I'm having. It might be the mass air flow sensor. He calls it the oxygen sensor in the video by accident, but I would get sensor cleaner first before buying a new one. I would also pinch that hose He's describing to make sure it's not too soft.
Good info simple home fix get a stainless steel large spring that fits inside hose. Like a home vacuum hose has one inside it.
Thank you bro shit helped me I knew that hose was to soft
Switch yours? Acceleration better?
Nice work bro. I've got a 2l diesel doing the same thing. I'll take a look.
This sounds like the problem I'm having with my Chevy Trax 2017 I've been to my Chevy dealer and Goodyear spent 750.00 so I will check this out thank you.
I really hope everything works out for you my car has been running great since I fixed it. Thank you kindly for watching the video
I have the problem with my Chevy 2012 also. When I start it, it won't accelerate on the road. I am extremely worried
@@alfredobizardi5491did you ever find out the problem my 2013 Chevy Cruz runs good but when I accelerate it has no power and I think it might be this hose because it very squishy
I gave mine a migshift exo skeleton with double sides tape, skewers and electrical tape. Working for now.

you have any light on dash?
the dorman does not fit the 2011 model ,,there are 2 map sensors
Do you have a part #. The hose I ordered was not correct
Good video whatever bro 👍
Thank you so much
I’m having the same problem but no engine light on. I push the foot on the gas pedal and the car doesn’t take off right away.
That’s your purge canister valve. Your pcv is in the valve color back left corner
This doesnt seem like the problem im having but great info. Theres some bullshit parts in these things and they run them pretty hot

Did it fix yours?
???? Fixed????
What you call an oxygen sensor is a mass air flow sensor. And what you call a pcv valve is a purge valve.
I'm glad you know what I was talking about.
Bro I just said the same shit twice oxygen sensors or a mass airflow sensor o2 sensor anything to do w air pcv and purge are the same thing brother look it up I’ve done all of it too
Thanks for the video. Did the engine light come on?
Check Engine Light never came on I had to figure it out on my own.
I’m over here like MF get to the point! haha thanks for the video man
como se canbia esa manguera, how you riplese the hose ?
Solo tiene clips y la puedes quedar de abajo del carro
Do you have to remove the plastic shielding under the car to remove the passenger fog light cover?
I didn't but it is recommended.
@@louski7927 so I can just pry out the fog cover? Wasn't sure if there's a screw holding the passenger side cover in or not. Thanks for the response.
@xolDante look under the bumper their is a flap that is made for the air box you can remove that and put your hands in there comfortably
@@louski7927 cool. Thanks man 👍

No but it sounds like your turbo is done
What were your symptoms ? Mine is when you step on the gas it’ll take a few seconds to get going. Was that the problem you had ?
In-between 2 and 4 thousand rpm I gor massive hesitation.
@@louski7927 ok that’s good to know that the problem is pretty easy thanks a lot !!!
Normal turbo lag?

Think I could know what the hose is called or where you ordered yours?
What is it
Did you remove the bumper to change the part or all through the top?
No all you have to remove is the left fog light/fog light cover.
Simple fix
@@louski7927 thank you bro
I get hesitation only below 3000 rpm then it’s fine. Is that what yours was doing?
No sounds like you have a different problem
Did it hesitate to accelerate or take off when you were at a complete stop?
Take off and sometimes during driving
how many miles did your car have on it at the time
130,000
Was it throwing white smoke from the exhaust as well?
No smoke
If you have smoke you might have blowback.
Part # for the hose?
Lower intercooler hose
Where did you buy it from?
I got the oem part from the dealer only because my local part store didn't have it available. But you can get it at any part store but they might have to order it.
Whats the name for that hose?
Lower intercooler hose
@@louski7927any alternative names ? I keep seeing lower radiator hose

It has a clip and a clamp take both off then pull the hose to remove it.

Thats not your PCV Valve man. PCV is located on the valve cover in the back right corner.
Glad you know what it is. I'm not a mechanic but I figured out the problem no one could with all their fancy tools and computers.
The Chevy Cruze diesel running like shit and turbo not stools
That's a purge valve not the pcv. And there is 2 pcv valve neither are visible
So obviously nothing was wrong with the pvc valves...the point is everything professional mechanics said was wrong wasn't the problem...im no mechanic but I figured out my problem. Your welcome
Mine is saying stabilize trac
If it comes on and off replace the ground terminal cable for your battery
