I don't think Head has ever wavered in his love for his friends. His message is the same today as it was back then - he loves his brothers. So glad he is back with them now. I love him to pieces. ♥
We have to remember the good times - when Korn was whole - David, Fieldy, Head, Munky and Jonathan. My teen years wouldn't have been the same without them.. For that I am grateful. Korn would be amazing if they did a reunion tour - but seeing as people have grown their seperate ways artistically, I doubt it will happen. Either way, all the best to the respective members and keep pumping out awesome music. Cheers.
as much as id like to see them hook back up i still have mad respect for head 4 taking care of business and doing what he needed to do to save his life. maybe one day we will be blessed with a regroup and new album and tour of all original members
With or without him, it would never gonna be the same, untouchables was the last good album they put out, even take a look in the mirror was at least "hearable", but all the shit they've come with after that, it's been so bad i don't even want to know abour theie new stuff.
I think we are all rooting for the same thing. We root for Head to continue this journey he's experiencing, but at that the same time, we want the KoRn that we all fell in love with to come back. With David dropping music from his life completely, it really sets a precedent. The music industry, the media, the pressure of fame and waning popularity, all of it - this can really tear things apart.
i know i know, he was my favorite, i braided my hair out, bought his guitar, and idolized him. him and munky made me the musician i am today. i felt betrayed is all.
If you don't understand addiction, then you don't understand. Recovery means you have to let go of all that leads you to addiction, so for him to have to let go of something that was epic only means that he was serious about getting his life together. Korn has had their fame, now they should all recover and find peace!
I think TPOT is one of their best records. I was skeptical at first, because I don't like dubstep and all that kind of stuff, but they made it work. Proving once again that Korn is still one of the most original bands out there.
.. in addition, I'd say that one of their last songs - Narcissistic Cannibal is one of the most melodic songs I've heard; that combo between the styles gives me chills when I listen to it. and believe me, I've listened to a lot of music, cuz this is what I am working all my life.
i think BRIAN is representing some real personal CHURCH about his life on a spiritual level~He had to go thru what he did 2get where hes @ now & hes in a wondeful place~GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER~i share your faith~Ur message & testimony inspires youth of today~So many ppl threw you under the bus when you left KORN & look where your are now~Still spreading the GOOD NEWS~DD
Please get back together, it is about the brotherhood like Head said, I grew up watching n listening to Korn and its a chemistry they all have with eachother as a family that made them who they are today.
I love his voice so much, I could just hear him talking all the time. He's just amazing. (Let's not forget that David looks good in the footage also.) Love and Death, baby!!
Brian is so right on when He said it wasn't meant to be. Thats what makes a christian set apart from the rest. Instead of looking at the failed meeting he saw it as a blessing. That God avoided a reconnection that may have shifted him in a direction he was not suppose to go. I love his story of coming to christ.
No one can deny the powerful energy that Korn's music generated. Yeah people might perceive it with a lot of negativity. But let me tell you all somethin. Growin up this music helped me unleash my bullshit anger. And helped me to vent. You gotta see that Head was probably in the deep end. Then he connected with God and found peace... Don't hate on a man just because he found his salvation..And don't forget this guy's contribution (with Korn) helped people find salvation as well.sanctuary. a vent
i know everyone says that Head just left and didnt speak to them for a long time but he did that because he was cleansing himself. he got rid of his drugs and he just needed some time away from everything to fully rebuild and heal himself. if everyone understood that then it would be alot easier for them to get talkin again. none of them mean any harm but they have to grow up a lil and put everything behind them to get talking again
I have always liked Brain and always will he seemed the most lvl out of the group and the kindest. i could careless what choises he made and how he has made them. he is a good person and thats all that matters
Fieldy made their sound??? Head made Korn's sound. Even though Fieldy's bass playing is fucking mind blowing. Head also was the biggest contributer of original material. And since he left, an important part of Korns sound and original song writing left with him. But they are evolving and i think theyre new album will be good...fingers crossed
Korn or no Korn it doesn't matter. the group KORN didn't own him and if wanted to change his life from whatever he was to being into religion let him be! It's his right to change AT LEAST the world didn't lose Brian to drugs and alcohol abuse like so many others. I hope they all do great in life and Brian deserves as much respect as any other member of Korn!
People who wants Head back in Korn, read a book. More specifically Head's book. By the time Untouchables was wrapped, he lived in hell. Sure he might not be rich, sure he's not number one, but he's happy. Why can't we all be happy for him? Note: I'm an agnostic.
I see this constantly. People always saying "you can't argue with science" or saying "the facts" are undeniable, without ever referring them to something. A book, an article, anything other than your own attempt for thumb ups.
I want this original lineup back together so bad. Their music was the soundtrack of my high school life, which was for the most part fucked up; but it felt that Jonathans lyrics with Heads guitar work were my release, my outlet. Kudos to Head for finding peace in his life, but I miss him in that band because he was a part of mine.
I love Korn and I've been a fan for a long time! I hate seeing this kind of thing happen to a band that was at one time, so close. I've seen some of Munky's interviews lately and he has this unappealing cockyness that has been shining through for a long time now. It's so unflattering to see how low Munky hit under the belt with this whole situation. I'm sure you were all upset, but that's no reason to try to ruin a person's good name. I'm not a Christian, but I believe and I applaud Brian!
You could only tell if you watched him play that he was HIGH and the Music was faster and he would trip while he played. You got something special if you saw Head play in the Old days HIGH,,,,,,,,HE KICKED ASS
YA if u ever done meth-or crank a lot-of up all nights u are going yo see things,,,And you ever have a religious trip or one time we broke down in front of a church and had to go in for a phone. Now did God break our car down in front of a church or did God make me have a religious trip?Same thing with head
That's proving my point. "God can reveal himself without affecting free will." So he has no excuse to remain hidden. That's why I'm calling shenanigans on people who try to make the "free will" argument. (Like Scott Dahll up there)
I'm an old Korn fan and Issues happens to be mine, just above their first. You don't have to dislike them more and more after each album to be a long term fan ya know....
its sad to see the same guys who were having fun when they were signing autographs at my brothers jr high to suddenly become distant. theyre notthe same now, and i havent bought a new korn album since untouchables
Much love to Brian. May you continue to enjoy the life, love, and happiness you pursue. I still wish you could have balanced all the hard things in life, but it's better than self destructing like so many others who influenced us. God is great, but so were your chops. Sometimes to reveal the light you must embrace the dark.
back to Brian i go. hes humble and he's done great thing WITH GOD. His testimony has planted the seed of Christ in people and inspired others. He didn't do anything by himself. Im not claiming to be a preacher or anything, im just stating the facts. Im done commenting on this video because i feel that opinion has been stated well and noone on youtube will changed my beliefs or faith. God bless
I think everyone wishes that KoRn would get back together in the original band and with Ross Robinson as a producer... All of us miss Head and David... They should really think about what KoRn used to mean to everyone back in the days... i miss it so damn much... I mean songs like Faget, Shoots, Blind, Good God, Adidas, Daddy, Freak on a leash, deserve the wall of fame...
Keep in mind that Korn's original style was a fusion between metal and hip-hop styles. It isn't that bad a thing for them to try a new type of fusion between metal and dubstep. Plus people keep forgetting that JD is a dj on the side so he has been into the electronic music scene for a long time before this album went into the works.
I like heads new music, I think people should just let him go where hes happy, instead of making him a puppet of some industry. Good luck Head! Bless you.
Damn, that was a good discussion. Thanks. Also... I am an Atheist but I don't mind Christians. What I do hate is people saying THEY know the answer whether it's science or God. Nobody knows shit about that. Saying to another person "You were created by God" as well as "You came from apes" is just bullshit. It's fine giving arguments and shit as long as you know that the thing you argue about is just what you believe.
It is a shame that the meeting did not happen. The guys were good friends for years. Yeah, Head might have said some things that he didn't mean. People shoot at the hip when they are mad. One day Head will return to Korn. We all have no idea if David will ever come back. He has got his own bar. There is more money to be had in the music industry. Remember Who you Are is going to kick ass.
yes the band korn is good and so is head he is a good man for him to be the way he is now and change his life and so many other people without even knowing that he did he didnt leave korn or change his ways for me or u he did it for himself and his daughter so head i have respect for you and godspeed on your trip and in raising your daughter fate has a plan for you and non of us will know it only you will and so far as the korn band goes i wish yall luck and hope yall come out on the other side
I can tell Munky is pissed at Head. I watched his IMV and he said (about the intro to "Blind") "The 2nd guitarist used to do this part, but than my friend decided to go on a crusade." Too bad.
I agree, it was much better than then the 3 before it. Now if they mixed tpot with Head's older heavy riffs and the sfx he used to play.....that would be amazing!
You know what, people? It was so called fans that started all those Head Said-Korn Said rumors. So called fans who were angry and upset at Head for leaving, so, people started talking shit. Word got back to Korn, and they retaliated with interviews, and songs on their Untitled album. And Head retaliated with interviews as well. I just hope that Korn and Head will make amends, and patch things up. No matter what, those guys are still family.
We add to that the Cosmological Argument which goes like this: The universe had a beginning. Therefore the universe had a cause. Einstein, who we can all agree was a brilliant individual, created the Theory of General Relativity. Much to his dismay, this proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the univers had a beginning - it's not static, unchanging and infinite. British cosmologist Arthur Eddington said, "Philosophically, the notion of a beginning of the present order of nutre is repugnant to
Korn are awesome and the dubstep stuff, and earlier with the rap stuff - it is something essential for the diversity which makes the thing more colorful and .. well if you're a limited-imagination person, you would not accept what I say.
we love korn the band you and the rest of the band have your own live but dont let shit get in the way of you friendship man people matter more then any thing man keep you friends you all worked hard to make it and you know they love you all the same but you gotta feel sorry 4 them they must still be hurting because they lost you ... just take care do what makes you happy , fyi korn's music makes me happy so thanx 4 the music
Nobody is free of addiction. You may not have the conventional addictions that people usually associate "addiction" to. There is sex, pornography, work, money, internet, food, gambling, shopping, exercise, etc. Certain emotions and thought processes can also be addictions. Life can be difficult for everybody. I believe the most important thing is respect and understanding for your fellow human being.
Evolution is a theory. Whether your religious or atheist, evolution is still just a theory. It might be the most popular theory, but at the end of the day, unless you can get in a time machine and track the evolution, its still just a theory. That's the beauty of science, it only states something as a fact if it is indisputable.
i get the feeling that head feels his a bad person if his gonna be part of korn again. What his doing now seems like a rehab for him good luck to him i just hope one day he comes aound and realises that korn wasnt a negative aspect in his life but a positive.
I think that Head's album is great, def a KoRn sound, but when the time comes and things work out I think he and David will go back to Korn and it will be a great album and it will show growth musically and be like the old days when KoRn hit the scene and just OWNED it
god will find you when you need him most and turn your life around please find god and let him lead you. my life has had so many blessing since being saved and i couldn't imagine trying to live this life with out him in it,
belief in a higher power (several different forms of higher powers exist) is often necessary for someone to break the cycle of use. In many circumstances it's the only way. regardless of the existence, it's belief that empowers human minds to make decisions based on right and wrong only.
It has never been an amount of proof that God gives. People try to say that when they have faith, that God still doesnt deliver. But having faith is about believing he can do something great, but also EXPECTING him to do something great. If two farmers pray everyday to God for rain, but only one of them prepares his field, what happens? Which one has the real faith? It's not about proof. It's about having faith like a child.
Why are people constantly hating on religion? I'm a Christian, and I personally think that people are entitled to believe whatever they want. Still, you don't have to be religious, to show repsect for people's beliefs. Yes, there are some irritating "I'm-a-Christian-I'm-better-than-you-and-your-going-to-burn-in-a-lake-of-fire" type of Christians out there. But, not all Christians are like that. And saying hateful things about, God, Jesus, or religion in general is just immature.
Well, I think they fused it into their style well. I don't consider it a dubstep album; I consider it a Korn album with dubstep elements. I usually enjoy it when bands take a chance and try something different.
Yes, I'm compiling them into a book. You can purchase it for a mere $6.66. The funds go directly to building a new cathedral for the pope. It will be solid gold.
@00binary0ninja00 "I'll lay it down to you right now: all the writing was done by Fieldy and Munky. Head wasn't really there for any of it, because he was so jacked up on drugs and worrying about other things. So the core of Korn is there...." -Jonathan Davis
head needs to go his own way an maybe someday hopefully i he comes back to korn and maybe david is there too so the whole band is back again and the awesomness can continue but until then head needs time to be himself for a while and i hate people dissing head for living korn cause it was something he needed to do to be sober and clean and a better father for his child and i understand him. i cant believe that people hate him for leaving korn but when i was in korn everybody loved him.
@awakened22, same here. So many atheists think it's all fairytale, but for people like us who have been at the bottom of a drug induced depression, there isn't a chance we could just make ourselves believe in God, HE IS REAL!
i would love to see brian back in with KoRn and David too, but...it's not really up to me, I think that was an awesome idea what Fieldy had going on, hopefully they can follow through with that someday. Brian, i've always wanted you back with KoRn the day you left, I honestly hope it happens someday. David too! that would be so badass and then maybe i could finally see my favorite band perform live together!
I grew up listening to Korn, so it seem like they are family, like I know them. Even though I never met them. It seems sad that things went this way for them.
Well,..It's hard to explain,.. but I will do it if you like. It is long winded and has to do with the stretching of space time and lightspeed itself. Brush up on that real fast and let me know if you want me to continue.
Head was involved in a lot of real estate stuff in the early days of Korn and probably has more money then all of the other guys put together. Get your facts straight, people.
He's no traitor at all, they are supportive of him. His music is amazing. He's no poser either. He doesn't act as someone or something else to impress others. He's doing what he enjoys and that is what God has called him to do. So a person that just isn't feeling the band they are in and they leave, they're a traitor? I think not. Educate yourself. PS Christian metal and rock, is so much heavier than secular metal and rock, and I listen to all of those.
Look..It's Goth Jesus
Brian seems like such a nice guy...very genuine. It's good to see someone stand for what they what they believe in, and remain peaceful.
I don't think Head has ever wavered in his love for his friends. His message is the same today as it was back then - he loves his brothers. So glad he is back with them now. I love him to pieces. ♥
Dude, I was there too!! That was incredible!!! Brought tears to my eyes as we rocked out!!!
head's hair omg
We have to remember the good times - when Korn was whole - David, Fieldy, Head, Munky and Jonathan. My teen years wouldn't have been the same without them.. For that I am grateful. Poor Head! Good for him, it takes a real man to say that he harbors no ill will to someone who does that to him. Good for you Head!
Korn will never be the same without this guy..
+Micah N stuff woah there. He didn't know.
+Micah N stuff You call him "faget" and you have kiss avatar? Pfff...
With or without him, it would never gonna be the same, untouchables was the last good album they put out, even take a look in the mirror was at least "hearable", but all the shit they've come with after that, it's been so bad i don't even want to know abour theie new stuff.
take a look in the mirror was actually really good, problem with that album was that the entire thing sounded the same
Well all is good in the world, hes back now, and their still rocking.
What's with the undertaker look?

Can't wait for Head's 2013 album, Life Is Preachy
Korn doesn't sound like Korn without Head. You can really tell who was the guitar mastermind in the band.Head's the man.
Munky and Head were best friends for years and Head just left unexpectedly and he hasn't seen him since.
I love his voice so much, I could just hear him talking all the time. He's just amazing. (Let's not forget that David looks good in the footage also.) Love and Death, baby!!

it just shows how precious head was to korn
brian, if you are reading this, you NEED TO COME BACK!! korn is not the same without you bro, you totally kicked ass on the records! haha

God didn't want Brian too be tempted in any way from the path there God has him on
Evolution is a theory. Whether your religious or atheist, evolution is still just a theory. It might be the most popular theory, but at the end of the day, unless you can get in a time machine and track the evolution, its still just a theory. That's the beauty of science, it only states something as a fact if it is indisputable.
what a genuinely nice guy
i get the feeling that head feels his a bad person if his gonna be part of korn again. What his doing now seems like a rehab for him good luck to him i just hope one day he comes aound and realises that korn wasnt a negative aspect in his life but a positive.
I think that Head's album is great, def a KoRn sound, but when the time comes and things work out I think he and David will go back to Korn and it will be a great album and it will show growth musically and be like the old days when KoRn hit the scene and just OWNED it
@TwizzieGirl
Agreed but I was refering to more of the musical instrumental aspect of the band, Head had the melodies that went so well with Korn.
god will find you when you need him most and turn your life around please find god and let him lead you. my life has had so many blessing since being saved and i couldn't imagine trying to live this life with out him in it,
belief in a higher power (several different forms of higher powers exist) is often necessary for someone to break the cycle of use. In many circumstances it's the only way. regardless of the existence, it's belief that empowers human minds to make decisions based on right and wrong only.
over all religion isnt the question its about what you like and music of most kind is fuckin awesome i love it
It has never been an amount of proof that God gives.
What a classy guy. Welch is seriously awesome.
omg i wish they reunite as a band ...all of em .....head , david , jonathan , munky and fieldy to rock the planet once more !!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I'm compiling them into a book. You can purchase it for a mere $6.66. The funds go directly to building a new cathedral for the pope. It will be solid gold.
What man on earth can save his own soul, when it doesn't even belong to him?
You know what? They all need to listen to their song, "Wake Up".
I respect him so much .
@00binary0ninja00
"I'll lay it down to you right now: all the writing was done by Fieldy and Munky. Head wasn't really there for any of it, because he was so jacked up on drugs and worrying about other things. So the core of Korn is there...."
-Jonathan Davis
Forget all the DRAMA bring the family back together dam its KORN for heck sake!!!!! and y is everyone dissing Head u know David left too!!
head needs to go his own way an maybe someday hopefully i he comes back to korn and maybe david is there too so the whole band is back again and the awesomness can continue but until then head needs time to be himself for a while and i hate people dissing head for living korn cause it was something he needed to do to be sober and clean and a better father for his child and i understand him. i cant believe that people hate him for leaving korn but when i was in korn everybody loved him.
@awakened22, same here. So many atheists think it's all fairytale, but for people like us who have been at the bottom of a drug induced depression, there isn't a chance we could just make ourselves believe in God, HE IS REAL!
Surpised that JD doesn't want to see head since back then he kept saying he missed him
i would love to see brian back in with KoRn and David too, but...it's not really up to me, I think that was an awesome idea what Fieldy had going on, hopefully they can follow through with that someday.
Brian, i've always wanted you back with KoRn the day you left, I honestly hope it happens someday. David too! that would be so badass and then maybe i could finally see my favorite band perform live together!
Those two are definitely the best.
You rock Brother!!!! Keepin' it real and we love that about you!!!!
God bless your heart Brian Welch in Jesus Name amen I love you Brian my soulmate baby forever amen
I grew up listening to Korn, so it seem like they are family, like I know them. Even though I never met them.
It seems sad that things went this way for them.
Well,..It's hard to explain,.. but I will do it if you like.
It is long winded and has to do with the stretching of space time and lightspeed itself.
Brush up on that real fast and let me know if you want me to continue.
grow up koRn guys and get back togheter. Its all in the family...
It's funny how Munky came into the spotlight he's able to talk sh!t about the guy that taught him EVERYTHING. HEAD IS KORN. PERIOD.
Head was involved in a lot of real estate stuff in the early days of Korn and probably has more money then all of the other guys put together. Get your facts straight, people.
nope look it up Head is back in KoRn working on a new album with them they got about 20 songs done, look it up before u call someone a liar.......
Miss old korn so much
He's no traitor at all, they are supportive of him.
I SAW HIM AT THE ATLANTA AIRPORT TODAY!!!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! :DDD
