@@rinofriio97 He didn't rejoin his past he heard God tell him that those people are God's people too and He wanted Brian to be a light where there wasn't one. I am so damn proud of him being able to keep his convictions, share the love of Jesus and bring others to Christ. We need people to go to places where the people would never set foot in a church. Getting people saved at a non-Christian rock concert is freakin awesome! I can't wait to someday be there with them praying for and over people. I know it's got to be one heck of an experience AND I KNOW God is loving every moment of it.

Love seeing people beat drug addiction, because it's a hard road to freedom
Your so right . I been on and off drugs(opiates) for the past 10-15 years and recently had enough because what they are doing to my life . I’m losing to much because of addiction. It’s a disease and that addiction will always be in us even when we’re sober . I’m 3 days sober and it’s hell becuase with opiates your body and mind is sick and you cannot function. By the grace of god I’m fighting through it and it’s starting to get easier . It’s so wierd becuase I recently fell in love with korn again and there old sound and I find this interview . Now I feel like god is speaking to me . This isn’t coincidence

I am right along with you! I watch a new one everyday. I love seeing his transformation and I am in awe of how he was relentless in his pursuit of God and with all the crap that came his way he has MANY reasons to say "this Jesus thing is bull, these people are nothing but crooks" but he pressed into Jesus and prayed and listened and somehow he kept the faith and grew in his relationship with God that he is a modern miracle. I am simply in awe of what God did in his life and by extension his daughters life. Even when he wasn't with Jesus at least he had the heart of a father to want to take care of her with all he could. There are a LOT of men out there that would never even consider trying.

Good for him. I used to be a hardcore atheist and I got consumed by a cocaine and alcohol addiction. I'm also a fellow convert... to all those who see religion with hate and disdain, please do not think all religious people are ultra-conservatives who deny science and evolution (if you don't believe me search the writings of Francis. S. Collins who headed the Human Genome Project and I myself became physics major). I agree that region can at times be irrational but for those of who are hurting and sick it offers a real solution to ailments that we feel in life. You don't have to believe if you don't. Spirituality helped Brian Welch find a solution serious and debilitating problem is disheartening and further contributes to the hate and sickness of the world. This man has found his salvation through the salvation of Christ. Those of you who believe he is "retarted" or has been "poisoned" by religion need more help than you are capable of understanding. You have every right to your beliefs, but give respect for the beliefs of others. God IS love and Jesus does save. Deal with it.
As a non-religious yet spiritual person with ideals deeply bedded in neuroscience, his points on saying to the lord "I need you to be real" and through that spiritual enlightenment finding his sense of enjoyment in facing fears, makes so much sense.. because he is first and foremost communicating with his inner most self and forming strong neural pathways within the brain that allow for resonance in daily behaviors as opposed to the dissonanced/disconnected/dormant neural pathways/networks that lead to addictive/unbalanced behavioral tendencies. He was finally able to have a dialogue with himself, to be able to acknowledge his role as "one of gods children" in the family we call humanity, and to be able to use the rational portion of his brain in harmony/unison with his imaginative/emotional portions as opposed to harboring conflicting beliefs.. and he did it instantly through accepting that there is a being higher than himself at play here ("God") which is beautiful, which also in my personally honest and humble opinion is the same thing as the "super-organism", ie all of humanity, greater than the sum of its parts.
As much credit as id like to give to the average assumption of what/who God is, i still think we dont give ourselves as much credit as we deserve sometimes, not that we should require credit individually nor seek it however.
Korn was a favorite band of mine and actually helped me mentally through a lot of b******* I went through in life in the past due to my drug addictions and to see him turn his life over to Christ and then having a chance to read the book just topped it all off.

This guy realized as I did, that drugs, especially meth, heroin, alcohol lead nowhere. It took a serious spiritual awakening for me also, specifically Christianity, but thru Jesus Christ. The difference between those that get off drugs on their own and those who find the salvation of Christ is that through the power of Christ, that addiction gets out of you permanetly, and no turning back. You change from the inside and the things in you that are not of God, or that keeps you from God is removed as well. You die and are born again and become a new person. That's the proof that God exsist.Good for him :)
I hear what you are saying, and I was an addict, to make that clear. After receiving the Holy Spirit and truly asking from my heart for help, I WAS changed. Yes people stumble, and fall, but al least the Holy Spirit is with you and you are able to find your way back to righteousness. It's not about being converted to some religion, as most people who call themselves Christian or any other religion, it's about accepting Christ, and letting the Holy Spirit work in you and put you in a place where God wants you to be. Please don't be put off just because people gives someone else good news of how God changed them. It's not about shoving something in someone's face, like how the gay agenda is shoved down ours everyday, it's about sharing the good news, that Jesus can save you and give you peace an eternal life. And if that makes you feel uncomfortable or anyone else, then obviously, they don't want the free gift from Christ. And you as a Christian, should not be a stumbling block and tell anyone to be silent. How else are others lost in this world of darkness going to know about the gospel and why Jesus died for us. If that's your beliefs then so be it. I try to live the way God wants me to live and not the way I myself think is good. You can be a good person, I'm not saying you're not, but being born again is letting God break you down and build you back up. That's all I'm saying, and God didn't make man to sleep with man, he left man to do whatever they want to their bodies because man rejected God and think they are greater than God and don't need God. All this is in the bible. But at the end of the day, God loves us all, he just wants us to love him back and know that we do need him and we as a people don't even know what good is. The Album is actually really good. He has a great singing voice and when you hear the Album you realize just how Talented the guy is. For anyone who loves korn and has not heard his music...no worries It is just as dark and emotionally compelling as the band Korn...Very different take on the whole "Christian" music thing...Definitely worth a listen. Re- Bel is my favorite song thus far.
It is interesting though when people talk about God, religion and intervention. I was raised Christian and had always been a skeptic when it comes to people having some type of revelation that changes them or some prayer that is answered. I have heard many people talk about this before but I would wonder if people were just saying things. Science can pretty much explain everything right? I thought this way until...I prayed to God admitting my shortcomings, a moment of humility. ...That prayer was not only answered, it was answered in less than a day, in the most obvious way ever. It was also made apparent to me that I personally was not in control of the outcome. When I asked what happened, a person who had NO idea in my beliefs or what was going on with me at that point, solemnly answered "God works in mysterious ways". Those were literally the words. Had the outcome been any different, the entire course of my life from that point would have been exceedingly more difficult, and I would not be in the same place I am now. For this reason, I no longer have any doubts in other's stories about God, and how much that has changed them. Sometimes things actually do happen that go well beyond any chance of coincidence. When this does occur, it is the most mind boggling transformative event one may ever experience.

I got delivered from smoking an drinking the night I got saved an filled with the Holy Ghost!! it was most AWSOME!! the urge to smoke an to be drunk just left me. when I got baptized in Jesus name I felt a joy that I had never felt before an I remember being so happy I just felt like laughting an laughting. I never God could be so real till this happened to me!! the odd thing was I didn't even ask for it I just went to church with my aunt!!! but once I had it I WANTED to keep it!!!

As an atheist, I want to know why all of you Christians tell us that we're "emotionally empty" if we don't accept Jesus, but you don't do the same to Muslims or Buddhists.

However, to answer to your question, in my opinion, the muslims/buddists/jews at least accept a way to reach God. Atheists don't accept Gods existence and usually are very rude and cruel to people who do. So in other words, the religions have God in common and atheists are without God.

My ex wife bought me his book for Christmas of 2016. On Christmas day a close family member gave me 3 grams of pure meth. I got home and did a huge line and got blown back high. I left that night and spent 3 days 4 houses down the street and finished those 3 grams. I sobered up and went home. I read his book from cover to cover. I continued to do meth and Adderall and I would fall out with oxy and Xanax. On April 20th 2017 I overdosed and ended up at the ER. I shut down my kidneys. I walked out into the lobby and 2 cops took me to jail on a warrant from my probation officer. I did 2 months. I've been sober since 4-20-17. Almost 3 years without a relapse. His book and my faith in God got me through.

The Bible is very clear that God hates sin, God is angry with the wicked every day, but that God is also longsuffering, not wanting any to perish but that all would repent and come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. God's judgment awaits not because he is bad but because He is good. But then there will be a day when the Lord returns, when the last events unfold, all of the living and dead are judged and are either condemned and destroyed in hell or are granted eternal life in Jesus Christ.
The Bible is clear that God will have a final and total victory over sin and evil and death and suffering. The Bible is clear that until that time comes, there will be sin and evil and death and suffering in the world. The "problem of evil" is not a problem for Christianity. The "problem of evil" is actually a problem for atheism since in order to admit the existence of evil, the atheist also needs to admit the existence of good - and neither exist in a materialistic natural atheistic universe.
in the natural material world of atheists, there is nothing but matter in motion. No objective morals. Just personal preferences and nothing more. There is no actual good or evil in the atheistic worldview if one is actually consistent about it.

If atheism is true, your conscience isn't telling you anything true. It's nothing but chemical reactions and electrical impulses which don't reflect any objective truth. Atheists are always crying about evil in the world. But actual good and evil are mutually exclusive from the atheistic worldview. There is no such thing as objective moral standards in atheism.
The problem atheists have is their own consciences which testify of objective moral standards. We may not know the specific moral action in every circumstance, we may inadvertently do something immoral though we intended it for good, we may ignore our consciences, or we may deceive ourselves.
But atheism has no immaterial aspect to existence. Life happened by chance and without intent according to them. Life developed, allegedly, without guidance or intent on the principles of random genetic copying errors, natural selection, genetic drift, and variation and you are, allegedly, the culmination of those impersonal undirected forces.
Atheists who appeal to good and evil can only do so by fooling themselves and stealing the existence of objective moral standards from someone else's worldview. But objective moral standards don't exist in theirs.
Atheists trying to employ the problem of evil as an argument against Christians is self-defeating.
YOU And tell me, would Jesus discriminate against other races? Would he ban Muslims? Would he want to take away insurance from over 20 million people? Or would he make sure everyone has food education and insurance like a good person would do in the name of God?
