Me and my dad went to a KORN concert when I was 10 and we happened to see Jonathan Davis walking into the building. We stopped him and asked if we could get a picture. I thought it was their best record without Head. The dubstep effects augmented the leaner sound Korn had taken on as a one guitar band (even though they had a second guitarist live).
It would've worked better as an EP, as originally intended, because there's only a handful of decent songs. The songs written with Skrillex are clearly the album's strongest material.
As I've grown my taste in music has changed, so I think Korn is not my favorite band. But in a sense they are my favorite band because they're my first metal band that I fell in love with. Its Korn and Jon up until about 10 years ago that I grew up with and fully understood and helped me through my deepest moments of depression. I am in love with Jon and his music since I was a teenager. He seems a such a nice man. Hope he is doing okay these days.
Holy shit, I recognized that Dead Can Dance CD right away. One of my very favorite all-time albums and groups. The voices, the sounds. Lisa is a gift. So cool that it's a favorite for him, too! I've had my album since the early 90s. Still listen to it.
It’s weird hearing him not screaming haha, I love Jonathan sm :)
OMFG ALSO THE ‘hope I did alright :)’
AHHHHH HES SO SOFT SPOKEN
I know im probably in the minority but I actually really enjoyed Path of Totality
same
I thought it was their best record without Head. The dubstep effects augmented the leaner sound Korn had taken on as a one guitar band (even though they had a second guitarist live).
Not my favourite but I do think it gets undeserved hate
It would've worked better as an EP, as originally intended, because there's only a handful of decent songs. The songs written with Skrillex are clearly the album's strongest material.
it's a brilliant and unique record. definitely one of their best.
I’m loving this series! I’m finding so many good songs from their suggestions
I'd put Dead Can Dance in my top five, for sure
Very incredible band. Their very first full length is incredible as well as the Within The Realm album
Right? Xavier was the first song I heard from them. It was an experience.
Oh, he's so sweet and tender-hearted. I love you JD, I pray you're doing okay
i love jonathan with my whole ass heart
As I've grown my taste in music has changed, so I think Korn is not my favorite band. But in a sense they are my favorite band because they're my first metal band that I fell in love with. Its Korn and Jon up until about 10 years ago that I grew up with and fully understood and helped me through my deepest moments of depression. I will always listen and will always listen to these old school sounds. Thankyou Jon for being your true you with your emotion and being real and giving to the world. Such love and passion! Peace!
That’s such a dad thing to do
“I got Goku for my kids. Oh, that’s Goku Black? 🤷♂️”
Jonathan is literally my comfort person ISTG 😭
Yes the downward spiral is one of the greatest albums ever recorded, but I have to say The Fragile was my first Rock record and it will ALWAYS be my favorite
Wow Jonathan Davis listens to Dead Can Dance. Even more respect!
He introduces him self like we don't know who he is.😆.
This man and KORN helped me get through the darkest times in my life. Love him with all my heart💙
I wish I could contact him...he's my soulmate I know it! Haha yeah ok...but for real if ur reading this JD, ur the bomb and I'm praying for you and your family and I'm sending positive thoughts and prayers your way, much love as you are still helping me through the roughest of times.
Waoooo my favorite frontman for the last 20 years. best album See u on the other Side and life is peachy
I love JD SOOOOO MUCH he's amazing and so talented
Korn got me through so much in life, I feel that I owe them a favor! God Bless you Jon!
