Me and my dad went to a KORN concert when I was 10 and we happened to see Jonathan Davis walking into the building. We stopped him and asked if we could get a picture. The security guard said “No pictures “ and Jonathan said “Yeah no problem, I love kids.” It changed my life to see how respectful some artist can be. He was bullied when he was a kid and respect is something that shines through the man. I have that very picture hung up in my room now.

Being the adidas clad singer of screamy nu-metal his tastes are somehow totally goth, I love all those albums he picked out, it does kinda show through at some parts where KoRn does sound slightly etheral/atmopheric in the background, particularly with his background vocals etc..

Actually, there are several scientific studies that shows that our musical tastes don't change much after the age of 14 and completely dropping off in our mid-20's. So, what did you like in your teens? Do you still like it, or do you think it's garbage now? I can actually say the albums that I first heard in my pre-teens to middle teens are still some of my albums of all time.

Agreed completely. They are unlike anything else that came before them, and anything else that came after. It's funny, it seems that everyone I know that likes DCD almost came upon them by accident like you (and me.) I happened to have a Paul Oakenfold CD back in the day that had a remix of "The Host of Seraphim" on it... Lisa Gerrard's voice so enraptured me that I just had to find more... low and behold she had her own band with their own library of music. About as close to a life changing moment musically as I've ever had, I think.
