Zach Hill is the main brain behind this band and also the drummer, although in many of their songs the kit itself isn't that present but just the beat. Live he basically solo's over all of those beats. He's a monster drummer.

Glad to finally get a full breakdown of a DG track, thanks! For the full, unbridled Death Grips experience I highly recommend their Steroids megamix. It's hard to define - released as an EP but more like a few tracks blended together yet still a (wild) cohesive experience.
You should seriously consider reacting to their full albums because they are fantastic and wildly entertaining to analzye. The Powers That B is my personal favorite. Love your videos!

just a quick warning, if you do the song "No Love", don't do the music video! it has a bunch of extra edits that take away from the actual song that have confused many listeners in their reaction videos. Of course, the video is still worth watching in your free time. No Love is a fantastic single that deserves to be listened to in full, without any skips/edits. Much Love!
I think the Rasta/doves line is about losing freedom I think. It’s part of the Rastafarian religion to grow out your hair. A clipped dove can’t fly. So a bald Rasta and a clipped dove are without what makes them, them. Also I know rastas used to be forced to shave their dreadlocks in prison so it might be in reference to that.

i'd love for Lost Boys to get reviewed. the asynchronous rhythmic construction is unlike anything i've ever heard, and i've been immersed in sonic weirdness for decades. killer song. death grips remind me of zappa in that you generally need to listen to a track 3 times before you can fully appreciate what's going on.
if you want complete and total chaos, i would recommend encenathrakh - a brutal death metal band that for all i know is completely improvisation. very impressive drumming and complete and utter chaos
