my old times with quick draw mcgraw. since my infancy the old west like me much. with this track i felt as don diego de la vega "zorro" . today i listen it and feel as a great old west cowboy.
I know this is 2 years later so I hope you wrote out the pandemic well. I agree with you about Zorro and you have to think this song came out in 2004 so it was a little more than 5 years after Zorro had released

I dont know what he means by "tucson music" and "gritos", why does he refuse to call it by its real name: MEXICAN FOLKLORE...try searchin mariachi + orchestra
It's positively based on that, but having roots in something, or even having most of the influence from something does not make it THAT. I presume mexican folklore really never uses a pedal steel guitar, so...that's that.
Is much more tan that, it makes me remind tne Tijuana brass and Chuck Mangione, i insist, with much more.
