My Ultrasabers Quick coupler is MHS sized and has large bearings and has never done that, but you do have to pull it all the way back to uncouple it. They might try larger bearings or making it a bit longer to fix it. And you’re right it’s one of the coolest accessories you can get👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Nice honest review! That coupler is awesome for what it does, and your performance with coupling and uncoupling looks super cool and smooth! I have a coupler like this from Ultrasabers and it has the same strengths/weaknesses too, except mine is so loose when coupled that in the saber staff mode the staff is not straight, a huge disappointment. Looks like the Padawan Outpost coupler yields a straight saber staff! It definitely is an engineering challenge to both write and meet the requirements of an ideal coupler! These are pretty darn good!
Both LGT and Ultrasabers use a pull and slide, Saberforge has a push and twist which is good to keep the hilts secured and in place while using, they offer 15lbs of force and 35lbs, but would like to know what the LGT one has, as it looks easier to use then the Ultrasaber. But as a Split Saber user I recommend trying the Saberforge quick release coupler, but Padawan Outposts coupler looks like a good starter to see if it works for you
Lgt one is very light to release, yeah I really want to try the saberforge one the push and twist has always sounded very cool to me
It sounds and looks like a good intro QRC, with Saberforge I would suggest the 15lbs and maybe build upto the 35lbs as they have massively different feels, keep up the good quality content and may the force be with you@@thestoneymagnum
